#like me myself and I personally do not have the ability to make friends or ~have fun by myself in public #and it’s not like I’m a friendless loser (completely) but everyone I know is just on different wavelengths #I had a friend who invited me to visit her in another state #and after making Arrangements she basically retconned the invite to me getting an Airbnb and seeing her 2 times during the trip #and she dressed it up as u will have solo adventures!!#ma’am all I have is solo adventures I can do that at home for free #and idk that was a weird situation for many reasons but the main thing I took away is that parents just don’t understand

i can tell by the way you successfully manage your emotions and reactions that you’re never experienced trauma, because i personally have never even considered the idea of learning how to manage and deal with my trauma response rather than stew in it and bring it up every time someone tries to tell me im acting out of pocket
