Never kill yourself. A fic I started reading ten years ago and last updated five years ago just got a new chapter.

it sucks that the overwhelming majority of medical messaging around salt/sodium is "evil poisonous substance that you're definitely already eating way too much of," because like. you do still need it. (trust me, as a POTS-haver, I've had to completely rewire my own brain about salt.) and you need more salt when the entire northern hemisphere is hot enough to fry an egg on. ever tried sucking down the recommended 64oz of hydration per day entirely as water, only to find you're peeing constantly without any of the purported benefits of being "hydrated"? assuming you don't have another medical condition that causes frequent urination, your body probably needed more salt/electrolytes to be able to hold onto that water and make use of it. if there was ever a time to keep a sports drink/pedialyte/etc within constant reach, it's when the heat index is 110°F/43°C.

Sam praying for a sign after Jess dies, he just wants reassurance that it wasn’t his fault. But the next church they pass has a sign that reads “jes s died for your sins” and. Well obviously the u just fell out, it must be a coincidence.. But he did ask for a sign. And here it is: a house of God directly telling him it was his fault she died. He doesn’t think it’s a coincidence.

the way the difference between sam killing lilith and sam trapping lucifer is dean's permission is always so crazy to me. like both times they were relying on shady intel, sam drinking crazy amounts of demon blood, sam surpassing strength he's not supposed to, sam fundamentally damning himself to hell in the name of his own monstrosity as his last act of martyrdom. except one time he saves the world and one time he ends it. why? one time his brother wanted him not to and one time he did.

We need to conquer space travel for the only reason that zero-g would allow for new never before seen pastries, you know how the top of the muffin is the best part? Well that is because it is exposed to air so it changes the chemistry, in normal earth gravity it is impossible to make a muffin that is all top part because it needs to be placed somewhere which would restrict air flow, however in zero g it would be possible to make a bubble out of muffin dough which gets optimal airflow and becomes an all-top part muffin... This is the dream...

-cedar leafminer & cedar water needs

-pruning panicle hydrangeas

-cool small focal plants

-list of topics not covered (woodland edge gardens, rose of sharon care, mugo pines and how to prune them, types of lilac, local soil composition, bittersweet nightshade)

but like

Sam didn't have to punch Dirk three times in the face to win that fight (but he was angry)

and Dean had a public meltdown over Amanda calling him lonely (which was bad enough he remembers it a decade later)

when the mask slips in this episode, Sam is violent and Dean is disproportionately emotional and those things coexist alongside Sam longing for normalcy and Dean calling a teacher sweetheart
