I just got a nightmare where I forgot to complete my binnacle for my lab class and aside from the teacher scolding me, my best friend who's still in high school and my other friend who's in another college were JUST visiting me after half a year of not seeing each other WHEN I WAS GOING LATE TO THE LAB! The most frustrating part about giving my own characters sexualities and labels is that i always feel like it gives the impression that these characters are aware of this information and would actively use these labels for themselves when that is rarely ever the case

They do not know what aro or ace means, that dude would never describe himself as trans, that other guy is nonbinary but they got a job so they don't care about that right now, she's bisexual but if you ask her she'll just tell you everyone has a beautiful soul and move on, they use multiple pronouns but not out of choice people just keep on guessing and she doesn't mind and honestly kinda enjoys it but he's not telling you that

Ooc They're gay or bi or aroace or bigender or whatever the fuck but in-universe they're looking you in the eyes and telling you that every man on earth secretly wants to kiss other men and that's just a desire you gotta live with and that it's completely normal and they will not for a second question what this implies about themselves

I got two OCs who are both aroace and together in a lavender marriage but this is set in the fucking 50s in a latam country so of course they think being good pals is enough reason to get married. A "if everyone does it, why shouldn't I" kind of thought.

#It's even funnier because there's another oc who's sold to marry a criminal (don't ask)#So she and my aroace oc talk about feeling oppressed in marriage #But their pov and situations are so different they cannot be compared beyond the fact they're not in love with their husbands #Now the story sounds profound but the only scene I've written is one where the protagonist climbs three floors #To get the attention of two private detectives (my lavender marriage ^^)#The story is mostly a silly comedy set in the 50s because why not

Guys I need your help with something.

So, for personal reasons I'm doing a list of movies that have been referenced on DC and I want to figure out this reference:

In Batgirls (2021) there's this gag on the early issues where a CD with a song from a movie is stuck and thus it's the only song they can hear and I got no idea what movie they're referencing here.

NO I DO NOT KNOW THE SONG

Basically my only clues are that the song comes from a movie about a green dude and it repeats the phrase All-star endlessly. And that tells me nothing, is it Hulk? The Grinch? Some third option I haven't thought of? Is this supposed movie even real?

So yeah, I'm doing my own research but if someone already knows the answer I would be forever grateful if you told me ;)

I have a lot of fanfic ideas that are just taking Jason Todd and sometimes other characters to other shows and one of those is Jason accidentally riding the train from that weird dimension on Infinite Train.

Whether Jaybin post Diplomat's son or current Red Hood entering the train and being forced to deal with his emotional issues while making the weirdest friends on the world (also, this could be the perfect excuse to make Nocturna a resident of the train so she could guide Jason and become a mother to him).

As for the numbers I feel like Jaybin's number couldn't be that high, at most it could be somewhere around 200-230, while present Jason would def have more that one million. Also I feel like similarly to Tulip he would cover his number with his glove.

#Anyway I'll probably never get around writing it #I should do a huge post where I put every AU that involves putting Jason in other stories or straight up make him live those stories #Like I have a Beetlejuice au Mamma Mia au Next to Normal au Christmas Carol au (although that one is centered around Bruce)#I forgot but this would def feature bad parent Bruce and mediocre batfam in general #Maybe not so much with the Jaybin route but in modern they're definitely the problem #jason todd #bruce wayne #I love spamming tags if you couldn't tell
