Just had to go on a short TERF blocking streak, so let me be clear:

I am a trans man (been out since 2016, legally recognized as a man in a backwards Country, and several medical interventions in).

Yes I'm privileged in several ways, and the patriarchy must be destroyed (I do my best to not make things worse and not speak over women, but I am a man, therefore I fuck up sometimes).

Gender is a social construct that must eventually be left behind, and the reason it gets acted upon is often as irrational and chemically ambiguous as love (yet I see nobody arguing love does not have consequences on lives).

TERFs have no good arguments except rhetorical tricks, cherrypicked papers that never pass honest scrutiny, mental images completely detached from practical reality, and a few rich people siding with them.

My silly thoughts and drawings are not for FARTs who will be laughed at when the world gets slightly less wild, and neither is my energy, which is already invested enough in being alive in a reality that wants me to not exist.

Trans women are women, trans men are men, nonbinary people are nonbinary people, and intersex people of all genders and women of all kinds don't need to be babied by bad faith actors.

(Edit PS: being medicalized and legal doesn't make me an authority or transer than thou, I mention it because that gets noobs listening)

I rearranged a closet today, and I found an old plaque with my deadname. It was not pleasant, but I didn't feel the anger and pain I used to experience years ago (no matter how numb I felt at any given moment, it always cut through).

Getting closer to what you are supposed to be does help. Time does help with the hurt. My younger self would likely never expect himself to see that arrangement of letters and not cringe, yet here I am, with different problems but not as haunted by what never was.

International Women's Day wishes to all

To trans men, transmasc folks, AFAB nonbinary+ people, and cis and intersex men who get misgendered: Today, we get an invisible bouncy shield to protect ourselves from misguided wishes. If anyone misgenders us out of ignorance, confusion, or malice: no they didn't, it didn't reach us, it bounced off. We can keep part of it, if it applies (the right to bodily autonomy certainly does to every human being), but that's an exception. We are not women. Don't feel guilty for not welcoming a wish meant for someone else.

To trans women, transfemme folks, feminine-aligned nonbinary+ people, and cis and intersex women who don't always pass as women: See all those wishes bouncing off the guys? Those were actually meant for you. Grab as many as you like, especially if you didn't get any aloud in person, and especially especially if you need a little bit of euphoria today. The celebrations and protests are for you too, no matter what the world says. Don't feel out of place for standing with your sisters.

To women who pass as such: Have a good one from me too! The world is scary right now, but what was lost or never there can be conquered back or anew. May the fight against the patriarchy advance triumphantly. May sisters lost in the struggle rest in power. May you and those around you have the strength to not let things slide. May there be fewer instances of having to deal with assholes on a day-to-day basis. I have your back, and if I were to slip up or be careless, don't hold back from reminding me of my place.

To men who pass as such: Remember that this is not Valentine's Day, and that gifts and pretty words are not enough. This is not a fight of women for women, this is a fight of people against injustice. Think of all that's been achieved, and all that hasn't yet. Listen to those around you. Be ready to help, and do your part. Be kind to yourselves and your brothers as well, everyone needs it.

To anyone else: Well, well, well: aren't you a funky gender-creative fellow? Pick any part of the wishes above you like and think applies. Keep being yourself, in the face of those who don't want to understand and respect you!

Hot take: cisgender, non-disabled and white conceptual artists have nothing left to say about bodies, ambiguity, and gender fluidity.

Everything they could misunderstand has been already misunderstood in the early 2000s works I'm stuck cataloguing.

My silly goober is gone, after 17 years of being a walking disaster of a cat. I was her favourite human, and I just had to be away on the day her body betrayed her. They assured she wasn't in pain, at least.

This is the last picture I have of her, I was making fun of her because she had been channeling her inner roomba to scan/tour/lick the entirety of the kitchen floor. One of the many quirks that made her such an unnervingly cute creature to hang out with.
