Briana Boston is a 42 year old mother of three from Florida who is under house arrest for expressing her frustration at her insurance (which she PAYS for) who denied her claim. She owns ZERO guns and doesn't have a criminal record.
She was originally held in prison for $100,000 bail. They have not dropped the charges and she is under house arrest even after widespread backlash.
They are trying to charge her with terrorism. They want her to spend 15 years in prison.
They are calling her a Luigi Mangione copycat. As if she killed someone. She made a indirect, not at all credible threat.

i had been meaning to scry/post the dungeon meshi main cast for a while. i figured in honor of the manga's final chapter would be a good occasion
design notes:

outfit inspired by fr user Rafale's laios fandragon
ravenskull broadsword bc it has wings like his sword
tundra + antique secondary/tert, like falin (siblings)
2. marcille donato:
ruby runes to represent: her magic, her red hair bow, bloody hands when she was resurrecting falin
will o' the ember for her explosion spells
iridescent primary for her elven heritage + penchant of fancy things

veined tert to represent his greying hairs
i debated between the gambeson (closer texture) VS tanned rogue vest (overall closer colors) for him, but ended up going for the gambeson as it feels more distinct
camo secondary for a "camo = stealthy" joke
[edit: 1 feb 2024] i think my screen had the Flux settings too high before and i thought his shirt was beige. its actually white, so i changed his shirt from a shabby to classy dress shirt.
4. senshi of izganda:
bamboo dried tea to represent his cooking supplies
unfortunately none of the helm apparel had the right colors for his helmet, so i opted for tan okapi to represent his helm's horn colors
i wanted to include the iron shield apparel for his adamantine shield/pot, but it wouldve covered up his kilt, so i left it out
[edit: 1 feb 2024] changed primary from ribbon to chrysocolla, an earthy gene to match his past as a miner. changed tert color slightly to match better. also gave him carrots
5. izutsumi:
initially i tried nocturne and spiral, but the armour pieces looked too short on them, so i ended up going for mirror instead
i also tried the tanned rogue apparels, but they covered up too much of the torso
wooly antennae for her ears
6. falin touden:
marshlurker's drape to represent her coat, bc there wasnt a lot of suitable coats, and the more purple-y hue (and hat) also references her debut outfit

tundra + antique secondary/tert, like laios (siblings)
[edit: 1 feb 2024] edited her primary to be more purplish, since the animes confirmed her coat is supposed to be more indigo colored, and gave her browner boots. also edited her reference photo coat color to match it too
7. falin (chimera):
i chose to make the touden siblings both tundras, so that chimera falin could be a gaoler (based on the joke gaolers are just tundra 2.0)

i wanted to accentuate his most striking feature (blue eyes), so i chose clay skink for the blue accent color
lead peacock bc it looks a bit like his eyes, to stand for to how hes perceptive and likes watching people
2. namari:
namari likes blacksmithing and is knowledgable about metals, so i picked metallic primary + scales tert bc it looks like metal plates
for some reason this 1 colored full body art of namari makes the fur on her bracers brown, despite all the other art it being white? so i chose the white fur version instead for the dragon
3. toshiro "shuro" nakamoto:
it was surprisingly difficult to find a green shirt that was the right color, and that didn’t cover the bottom part of the breastplate
the viper armour pieces are a surprisingly good match for his armour
4. mithrun:
dust chrysocolla has dark spots that over his eyes look kinda dark, like his eyes are a bit sunken or has eye bags
the other dark spots kinda look like holes, like how his teleportation can leave holes in things
5. thistle:
swirl eyes for his distinct pupil shape (i was gonna do shadow goat eyes at first but they werent very visible with the purple)
harlequin primary fits pattern-wise, but also because thistle is a jester (i was gonna use the jester gene at first but i wanted a lighter secondary for his light hair)
i actually started out scrying thistle for a friend who was thinking of making a thistle fandragon, hence why he has an accent but no one else does. the festival accent works surprisingly well to represent [spoilery information that im too lazy to summarize]

ALL that matters is whats in your heart when you say it. is there love for your community or is there hate for people not like you. are you saying it to hurt someone or to give a hurtful thing new love-filled meaning. theres your answer.
This is a gun we’re talking about. The projectile is fired using an explosion, not by compressed air of a toy gun or the elastic forces of a sling shot. People would be lucky if they only lost their finger.
The finger won’t block it - the shaft is only there for keeping the bullet straight, all the propulsion happens behind the bullet. The bullet would rip through the finger, not that many would actually fit without the victim being a child, and beyond.
Why the dingleknockers would you even consider sticking your finger in the barrel of a loaded gun?? the amount of force propelling the bullet at that close of range would shatter the finger at the very least; this is a petition for 1,000,000 people to loose the use of their hands. If a bullet explodes the back of a persons skull when they shoot it in their mouth it sure as hell will explode a finger.
You guy who think the bullet would stop at the finger have never shot a gun and can volunteer to it their fingers in the barrel of my 9 mil and I’ll I’ll the trigger and see if it will stop the bullet. Dumdasses

@meatswitch @raptorific this is a US based site. US Americans are known for two things- obsession with guns and incredible stupidity. Had this been anyone else, I’d say they’re trying to fuck with us. But with US Americans, about 70% of them are dead serious about mangling their hands trying to stop a bullet.
