I see a lot of women saying that it's wrong to say that we don't 'own' our surnames because if we were born with it it's ours and men are also taking their surname from their father. I kind of understand what they're saying but the difference is that property and authority was also passed down from father to son while women were born as their father's property and died as their husbands property.

I HATE when people talk about women who are victims of rape or women in general like they're property of their country/culture/religion. I see this a lot when white racists talk about immigrants coming and raping 'OUR women' while they themselves are doing the exact same thing.

I've also seen this happening when moc talk about colonialism or even when a woc is in a relationship with a european person. They aren't angry at the pain and trauma that women go through because of these men but rather the thought that another man can violate his property and often themselves. They hate it when their priviledge and ability to oppress women is taken away from them.

Sometimes it feels like history is written and taught from the perspective of a man. The brutalities women faced are often only talked about when discussing colonialism but only somewhat implied when talking about pre-colonial history. People don't want to acknowledge that the large majority of women in the past only 'had sex'(were raped) with their husbands because they were taught that it's their duty to do so and they it's not like they had any other choice.

I thoroughly believe men should be loved the way women are expected to be loved. Only if they put out and never say no. And should be harassed if they don’t meet a specific beauty standard. And should be blamed if they’re ever raped or told they’re falsely accusing someone which is worse than rape. They should be told all their interests are fake and they’re only into it to get attention from women. We should tell them their mental health doesn’t matter because women have it worse. We should tell them they need to lower their standards and date women they aren’t attracted to or violent women or else they’ll die alone as shriveled dried up fuck sticks. We should make an entire industry dedicated to the rape and trafficking of them that will be defended by millions of people. We should sexually harass them out of industries we’ve deemed too good for men. We should make the beauty standards for men be only attainable through starvation and plastic surgery. We should start demanding males have their rights taken away and have no say in their own bodies. We should expect males to not only pay for at least 50% of the rent and bills but also do 100% of the child care and housework because women work so hard. We should cheat on them and then blame them for not fulfilling our needs enough. We should marry them and the moment they’re too sick to fuck or do our laundry, we leave them. You’re right. We should “love” men the same way they “love” us.

I sometimes feel crazy that women aren’t grasping that the material conditions of the female sex globally are still extremely poor. Women speak about ‘patriarchy’ as if it’s some ominous, looming figure in the sky. The men in your life are the patriarchy. Men use male solidarity to sexualize, dehumanize, silence women and defend other men. The actions of the patriarchy are sustained by men as individuals.

We are oppressed. We are not in different worlds from the woman in extreme cases of gender apartheid (like Afghanistan, Pakistan, South Africa, Tigray, many more.) Western men are not more benevolent than other men, they don’t hate women less than other men. It’s because women had to save themselves. Women literally committed bombings and arsons for freedom.

The government, and military powers, and religious powers, and the police and courts system, and the medical institution, and the media, and the language we use, and all the money and resources of the entire earth, are still under the control of men for the purpose of serving men.

Of course men would agree that you are empowered in choosing to take their last name, and be feminine, and objectify yourself, and choose to be a stay at home mom, whilst they have power over literal nuclear codes. It’s an illusion. It’s false power.

Men hate women. If they are able to, they will hurt you and exploit you, and no one is coming to save you once you are trapped in a relationship with a man. The justice system is not made to save you. It’s made to protect him. The power imbalance of heterosexual relationships is too vast for me to suddenly ignore all the domination women suffer under and encourage women to be with men.
