I feel like iv made enough posts about this but apparently not.

Radfem is not transphobia, or conservative, or parading for the killing of all men.

The words you would be looking for there is terfs, right wing and black pill feminism, all belief systems I vehemently disagree with.

I live punk by being a GNC woman and not letting my gender nor society dictate how I present, talk or live my life. I uplift people around me to not conform to the gender binary. believe it or not, my leg hair is offending enough to enough people to be considered a political act.

I live punk by making action in my community, going to protest and being part of both the Socalist and feminist community in my area, by working in the educational system and using it as a means to make the world a better place (note to anon, being allergic to educating yourself about feminism is VERY ANTI PUNK). I’m not just bitching on tumblr about my beliefs, I’m making active and measurable changes around me.

I am constantly educating myself to the meaning behind the music, being actively anti racism, anti ableist and anti transphobia/ homophobia every day around every person, I have no fear in being confrontational to bigots when I need to be.

I know it’s bad but sometimes I get a sort of empathy fatigue for people without disabilities.

I haven’t felt physically comfortable in years, not when I’m well rested,not when I’m high, not when Iv had the strongest painkillers I can find, to get to sleep I have to spend hours finding the least painful position, not a comfortable one. It’s hard feeling empathy for someone who has a temporary injury.

Most people hate their jobs, I love my job but understand that part of loving my job is being in constant burnout and worsening my pain, even with reduced hours and accommodations (which are often not met) I use up what little energy I have to earn a shitty paycheck. But I’m sorry you are unemployed, get to sleep in and rest for most the day.

My autism, DID and NPD permit me from fully unmasking my true self, not to my friends, not to my family, not to strangers. To be a functioning member of society I need to constantly change the way my brain is formed. It’s hard to feel empathy that you have less friend then you do in high school.

My arthritis started in my back when I was 8, it extended to most my body by age 20, my body is and will continue to deteriorate, and I’m still being told to drink more water by doctors. It’s hard to feel empathy for an old person with arthritis who says “but you’re so young” when they got to live out their younger years pain free.

I use a aac in burnout, I also have a headmate who exclusively uses aac and sign to communicate, the voice on our aac is slow and robotic, it mispronounces words often, and their are only a very small amount of people who speak ausland. It’s hard to feel empathy for people who have trouble or get annoyed trying to understand us when it takes 30 seconds to communicate a simple message, if we could talk we would.

For the past few years I have relied on street drugs to function, mostly weed and some other dowers like Xanax and codeine. I am not eligible for funding and I’m have no other way to get the pain management I need. As a ex addict I send myself into triggering situations to get them, I have also been sexually assaulted and laced, as well as deals constantly trying to get me hooked on harder shit. But I’m sorry ur plug charges extra for drop.

I’m so sick of trying to feel empathy for people who see the accomodations I have to make for myself as a inconvenience, I’m sick of people coming to me to complain about a ounce of what iv been experiencing for years. I know it’s selfish and I know it’s mean, but if anything it’s saving my sanity. Their are things I can’t do, their are things I will never achieve no matter how much effort I put into it, yet other people will achieve it with minimal effort. I want to rest, I want to slow down and spare my body and mind, but I have so many people who rely on me emotionally and financially that all I can do is send myself deeper into burnout.

I wish I had the privilege of abled people.

One of the things I find most soul crushing about being a system is having to be convert. For the largest majority of our lives, we are heavily masked.

I feel that we will never truly be known unless you know all of us, our names, our likes and dislikes, our opinions.

I understand that most people won’t ever believe us, I understand that a lot of people don’t believe the human brain can do such a thing. But I know that I couldn’t fake something like this for this long.

My headmates are some of the closest people in my life, we protect each other, we fight for each other, at the end of the day we are all that each other has. Yet, people only know my name.

I try to explain to people who I am constantly, through conversation, through the way I dress, through the action I take in my community, yet this one thing, this gaping hole, I can’t tell anyone.

Something I’m staring to really try to come to terms with since being heavily involved in the disabled community in my area, while becoming disabled myself, is how completely unaccessible and uncaring the world is compared to how many disabled people there are.

Public benches are dwindling because capitalism want to make it more unliveable to be homeless (also disproportionately disabled people). Houses and shops being cramped smaller and smaller, basically barring anyone with a mobility device to enter. People with speech difficulty’s, stutters, tics, or just general speech patterns that can be only processed by a human brain, being forced to talk to chattering, robotic AI on the phone to get meds, funding, or appointments. Everything being functionality produced to create an anxious, overstimulating experience, lights and colours and advertising screaming in your face every chance it gets.

The rise of “cringe culture” or TikTok sounds that are purely just making fun of a disabled person acting or presenting as disabled. Watering down the completely neutral Scientific words we use to describe our experiences (overstimulated, stimming, hoper fixation). The rising of not only slurs becoming common but also using completely neutral words used by the disabled community (special, downs, deaf, blind, ALOT MORE) as insults. Disabled people being used as cheep punchline, often where the whole joke is “look at this disabled person, shocking right???”.

I hope that people truly realise how common disability’s are, at my job alone, we have over 300 disabled children that we care for, with a relatively small districts. YOU know several disabled people, anywhere from highly complex disorders to minor injuries/illness, no matter how much you think you don’t. YOU will meet hundreds of disabled people in your day to day, YOU either become disabled or you die, it is as natural for humans to be disabled as it’s natural for humans to have different hair color.

Stop treating disability as a taboo.

We're in such an era of everyone pretending that their individual choices have no effect on anything or anyone else, while simultaneously perpetually blaming every shitty quality of self on everthing and everyone but their own selfish choices.

Anti-intellectualism and misogyny are tools of systemic oppression.
