Current obsessions: Tony Stark and my homebrew dnd campaign

I mostly posts writing stuff and am trying to get more involved in the writing community on here. My main WIP is a slightly dystopian sci-fi series (?) and some fan fiction here and there depending on how I’m feeling and what I’m interested in.

Reposting anything I find entertaining.

I’m a science (particularly space) and math nerd.

Favorite shows/movies/books/games etc. include Star Trek (TNG, TOS, and Voyager), Arcane, The Martian (book and movie), Project Hale Marry, Downbelow Station (I’m working on her other books), The Marvel Movies, DnD, Arrival, and Apollo 13

Are we allowed to be upset that there are no women on Artemis III? Yes

Are we going to stop our moon joy? No

Are we going to not support these wonderful astronauts? No again

Are we going to get excited for space exploration? Yes

Are we going to be happy we have a Latino, a POC, and an Italian on this crew? Yes again

Are we going to cheer when Artemis IV lands on the moon? OF COURSE WE ARE

Are we going to keep fighting? Yes

Remember, this is the “boring” technical stuff. If we want future crews to be safe then we need secure landers that have been tested again and again and again. NASA can’t do it all on their own anymore (which is a whole other rant) so we need this. NASA also chooses the best fit for their crews, and I will trust them on that. And this clears the way for a possible all women crew for Artemis IV or V, so we have that going for us.

Sorry for the long rant but this has been infuriating.

Also Luca Parmitano is my favorite and I will fight for him 10 toes down.

I just made the rookie mistake of re-reading the previous chapter while I’m still in the first draft phase of my novel. Boy those sure were sentences alright. I should probably not have looked at those sentences because I’m grabbing the sledgehammer.

        What the fuck. I just wanted a normal night. Couch, my show, maybe some chocolate, and yet this dumbass knocks at my door and interrupts it all. He can’t just show up looking all hurt and dazed, mumble some gibberish and force me to catch him so he doesn’t further hurt himself. He’s lucky I don’t mind resting on the couch.

Being half awake is such an odd experience. I’m conscious enough to actually be thinking and not dreaming and I’ll have the most mic-dropping earth shatteringly genius ideas and then a few hours later once I’ve fully woken up I’m just like. what. the fuck. was that.

we all know adult humans dont get enough enrichment but the other day i was walkin home past an empty playground and impulsively ran over to spin myself on this zipline merry-go-round contraption for a few minutes and it really did feel like it unlocked some neglected part of my brain. like damn we really should all go outside and play more. fuck. they werent kidding with this play time thing. have you guys heard about play time. it could be huge.
