Nimona Headcanons!

Ambrosius absolutely hates being called 'Golden Boy'

Something inside him broke, died and withered away when Ballister taunted him with that nickname during their Big Breakup Fight

After Nimona returns, she gets into the habit of calling him Golden Boy

Ambrosius feels miserable but he sucks it up because really he tried to hunt her down and kill her and turned Bal against her so what is a little nickname he is pricky about?

Until he can't obviously and so he tells her to stop calling him that

He had expected her to double down and make fun of him but honestly, who better than Nimona to understand what it's like being called a name you hate

So she simply asks him if being called 'Nemesis' is okay with him

And Ambrosius just shrugs because whatever he doesn't really mind that one
