My outsiders obsession is here, so I plan to start posting that on this account when I'm not posting on my other accounts. So if you guys have any asks, ideas, or anything pls tell me cause Idk where to start. I also post like "It's okay to be sad" kinda things and whatnot so it won't be just straight outsiders.
Ponyboy is being a teenager (and Ponyboy also shouts the rudest stuff when upset), darry and his wife trying to parent him but pony goes to far this time
Warnings-
Sad, I didn't go over this (Sorry for any typos), mentions of miscarriage, a little history here in the 1960s, women who struggled with infertility faced immense social pressure and blame, as motherhood was considered their primary purpose. Public understanding of fertility was limited, and the medical options available were primitive and often unproven. This created a culture of secrecy, shame, and emotional distress for women unable to conceive (Straight from goggle)
Y/n walked in to see her husband arguing with his youngest brother, which had been more and more frequent this month, "Darrell, Ponyboy stop it." She said pushing them away from each other, they both huffed, "What's wrong?" She asked, "Pony didn't do his homework again." Darry said, Pony groaned, "Ponyboy, we talked about this, how are you supposed to get into college with how your grades are?" She said crossing her arms over her chest, Ponyboy rolled his eyes and huffed, "He's not my dad, and you're not my mom, and you'll never be one!" Ponyboy yelled before storming outside. Everyone froze. Johnny and Dally got up to go after Ponyboy and everyone else looked at them, and Darry looked at her. That was a very delicate topic for her, she had a breakdown before because she hadn't been able to get pregnant and when she was pregnant she had miscarriages.
"Honey, you okay?" Darry whispered
"Yeah, of course!" She replied as she walked over to start washing dishes, and she was off for the rest of the week on sick leave because she had a miscarriage a few weeks prior and Darry said she was working herself to the bone. Darry's eyes shifted to the gang who were easy dropping, he shooed them away and told Soda to tell Pony he was grounded, and they needed to talk. "Dollface...you've been cleaning that same dish this whole time..." Darry mumbled as he hugged her from behind focusing his grip on her stomach.
"Im a failure dar...."
"No, you're not... we don't need to be popping out kids like everyone....! You know he didn't mean that..."
"I know that.... doesn't make it not true......"
"If you want a baby, we can have one..."
"Darry we had five and I lost them all...... every single one of my babies...." she whispered as tears slowly started to fall
He kissed her neck, he didn't know what to say "I love you...I wish you would stop thinking about this stuff..." Darry mumbled into her neck. She sighed, "I haven't been thinking about it......." she mumbled relaxing into her husband, leaning her head back to look at the ceiling, "Y/n Curtis....you've been crying yourself to sleep every night..." he mumbled, her breath hitched as she shut her eyes hard, she thought he had been asleep when she cried, she always checked, "I don't wanna worry you...I'll be fine...promise...." she whispered, he sighed, "I know....love ya doll have a good day..." he whispered as he laid two more kisses on her neck and left.
She didn't do much that day she cleaned and lay on the couch crying, she made dinner, and went to bed. She woke up hours later to the sound of Darry yelling at Ponyboy. She got up and walked into Soda's room to find him pacing. They made eye contact as she opened the next door that led directly to Ponyboy's room, and Soda sat on his bed, "Darrell, he has school in the morning, let him sleep..." She mumbled half asleep herself. Ponyboy sat at the edge of his bed with Darry standing in front of him, pony continued to look at the floor as she talked, Darry walked past her to thier room and sat on the bed.
"Night Ponyboy, get some rest," she whispered as she walked up to him and kissed his head before walking out and closing the door. She looked at Soda who looked like a nervous wreck, "You get some rest as well Soda. Let me handle those two..." she whispered as she walked over to hug him, he let out a long sigh. She let him go and squeezed his hand, "Are you okay?" Soda asked squeezing her hand back, "Yeah sweetie.... don't worry about me..." She whispered woefully, she walked towards their room, and closed the door. She walked up to Darry and sat on his leg which was shaking and wrapped her arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around her torso. "You're being too hard on him..." she murmured lazily after a few minutes, he hummed softly.
The next morning, Ponyboy was found in the living room waiting for her. She had always gotten up around this time to get everyone ready for the day, "Hey pony? Why are you up?" She asked as she walked up to the couch and sat beside him. She wrapped her arm around him and brought him into a side hug, "I'm so sorry about what I said... not just cause Darry told me to apologize..." Ponyboy said she turned a little so she could bring him into a full hug, "I was never mad at you sweetheart but we need to work on that temper...hmm?" She whispered, softly rubbing his back, and he chuckled as he let tears fall onto her shirt.
She hummed to calm him, and she kissed his hair
"Wanna help me make breakfast?"
He nodded letting her go to whip his eyes. She chuckled as she got up and walked into the kitchen, Ponyboy helped her cook and by the time Darry walked out to find her making coffee, Darry hugged his wife from behind and looked over at Ponyboy who was standing awkwardly. "You apologized?" Darry questioned, Ponyboy nodded. "We aren't mad Ponyboy, we are all going through a lot right now but that is no excuse to behave that way okay?" Y/n said, Ponyboy nodded again. She was right, they were gonna get through it, she just didn't know where to start.
Author's note-
I don't even know... I forgot I was writing this, it was supposed to be longer 😭😭😭. I hoped you enjoyed it tho, im working on my sad writings but I haven't had like any time to write for like anything. Sorry guys 😭.
Headcaon—Darry leaves love notes for his wife everywhere which she loves and the gang loves to find them before she does and make fun of Darry (i didn't go over this)
(Name) sighed as she looked towards the ceiling, yesterday she had married the love of her life, and last night they enjoyed the only night of their honeymoon. They didn't have enough money to go anywhere, so Darry had decided to make that up to her by making the next few extra romantic. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, as her new husband walked in and smiled at her, "Morning love," Darry said earning a smile from (Name). "Hey dar, you boys already up...?" She asked as he sat down beside her and hugged her, he shook his head no.
He let her go from their hug and she noticed something in his shirt pocket, "What's this?" She said picking the paper up and unfolding it and she read it to herself before looking up and bringing him into another hug. That was the day the letters started and now it was 5 months into their marriage and here they were getting picked on for loving each other.
"Darry, do you kick your feet when you write these?!" Two-bit laughed out of breath before continuing "My LoVe...!" He teased. Darry rolled his eyes as the rest of his friends let out giggles, "Well, I think it's sweet," (Name) said. "Darrell where is my note, I've known you longer!" Two-bit said putting his hand on his chest offended making Steve laugh so hard he fell off the couch taking soda down with him. "Psffffff!!" Ponyboy laughed as Darry walked away from the laughing crowd but Two-bit followed him. Two-bit started making kissing sounds at Darry all morning till it was time for their regular game of football.
Darry, Soda, and Two-Bit were a team, and Dally, Johnny, Ponyboy, and Steve were a team but that quickly ended when Darry spent most of his time chasing Two-Bit. "Should we help him?" (Name) asked looking towards the boys who now sat beside and around her on the porch as they watched Two-bit and Darry run back and forth. "Nah, it's just getting good," Dally said, "Throw a stick at 'em two!" Dally said before laughing. "Yeah, he's fine! 5 cents he doesn't make it out of this alive," Steve said. Ponyboy smiled, "You're on!" Ponyboy said as Johnny walked into the yard and Two-Bit hid behind him.
"Johnny move."
"Johnny don't move."
"Johnny sweetie you want some chocolate cake? I saved you a piece!" (Name) said, Johnny nodded and ran up to the porch. "THERE WAS MORE?!" Steve asked looking betrayed as (Name) giggled as she took Johnny inside for cake and Steve asked for a piece.
I have a fic coming out soon for Diana Thompson x Darrell but don't hold your breath lol
Reader/Oc has a small (huge) crush on Tim Shepard, and he asks her out
Warning(s)-
My first time writing for him so I tried my best, I didn't go over this <3
I heard a deep scratchy voice. I knew that voice. What greaser didn't? The Tim Shepard. He was right there. A few feet away from me, I sank into my chair a little at the sight of him and Dallas Winston, but of course, Dallas whom I'd known since he came to Tulsa Oklahoma, saw me and made his way over to my table with Tim, and they wecomled themselves and sat at my booth.
But Tim sat right beside me and Dallas sat in front of us, my face started to get hot and red.
I'll kill Winston.
"Dallas. Why are you here."
"I feel so appreciated..."
I rolled my eyes, Tim chuckled as he looked out the window past me I could feel his gaze shifting in-between me and the window, Dally noticed how I got redder and how Tim's gaze lingered
" (Name) don't forget you were mine first..."
I rolled my eyes at Dallas. Johnny and Dally had considered me a sister in their adopted family brotherhood thing, which I appreciated but being their "sister" had its disadvantages like when they scarred off boys. Johnny would tell Dally and Dally would do the scarring which wasn't hard for him and he enjoyed it.
"She was yours?"
I kicked Dallas under the table
"No! I was never his. He meant like a sister."
"Yeah. That. Either way, keep your paws off her."
Tim chuckled and slumped over the table towards Dally
"And if i don't?"
"I'll cut you down shepard."
They stared at each other as I grabbed my milkshake and took a big sip even tho it was almost empty. If I could leave, I would.
"So... uh Tim, how's Curly and Angela?"
He looked at me with that same crooked cat-like grin he always had, and I hated the feelings it gave me. Greasers are supposed to be tuff and sly. Not whatever I was feeling now. "They're fine. Angela is having one of her girly fits tho..." Tim said almost absent-minded, he'll never say it but he cares more about those kids than he says. I nodded, "If you need me to talk to her, just ask." I said nonchalantly, and he smirked. "Sure thing doll," He said his cold eyes now fixated on me, Dally kicked him and me under the table, both of our heads shot over towards Dally's direction preparing to yell. "Ponyboy and Johnny are waiting outside!" Dally said pointing towards the front door where Ponyboy was waving like his life depended on it and Johnny, bless his heart, was giving us a small subtle wave.
I smiled, "We gotta go, Tim, see you around." I said as Tim got up to let me out and Dally left to join Pony and Johnny. "Or tonight. Buck is having one of his parties. Come or don't." Tim said, not fully making eye contact with me. Was–Was he asking me out? ME? Tim Shepard just horribly asked me out. Huh. "Are you asking me or telling me?" I said deciding to test my luck, he rolled his eyes at me and smirked. "Well, I obviously didn't do it right if you asked that, doll." He said coldly but it had this warmth to it, that made me smile. "You can ask me to dance tonight. Maybe I'll say yes. Ya know that is if you do it right." I said winking and turning on my heel and walking towards my boys. Tim chuckled behind me and said something that sounded like an agreement but his voice was too low for me to hear.
"Why were you talking to Tim?" Ponyboy asked
I shrugged as I turned the corner on the sidewalk, "He asked me out."
"And what did you say?!" Johnny asked frantically
"maybe."
"MAYBE"
They all shouted for different reasons but I didn't care, a guy was gonna ask me to dance and he wasn't gonna back out of it cause he wasn't scared of Dallas. Today couldn't get better.
None of these photos are mine credit to the owners and the amount I had is insane 😭 some weren't posted or they got repeated but oh well. You can find them on Pinterest.
