final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍

Originally, I went in worried the opposite would happen. Growing up, I've been taught that Nigeria, the country, is homophobic. (I was born in America.) But over time, I learned that there's tons of other queer Nigerians; some are out, and some are in the closet 😭.

Happy Pride Everyone!! As a Queer trans man, I'm thankful every day for my wonderful husband and the love and care he has for the trans community. We're in a really tough financial spot after he was let go from his contract 6 months early, just after he experienced a scary hospitalization. I'm hoping someone, anyone may be able to help us. I barely made enough with my single income for rent this month. We have a water deposit/bill and electricity bill due before the end of the month about $450 total that I don't know how we're gonna make. I have meds that I need to get soon $50 total and a $60 doctor appointment tomorrow to look at my burned fingertip/blister because it's still pretty painful.
