Cherik 🤝 WandaVision
Epic love story skipping through the decades
It's crazy how the plot of The Night Manager season 2 is literally the child of a mafia boss (Teddy) being manipulated/seduced (mutually) by his father's arch enemy (Jonathan) which could easily be a plot of one of TikTok dark romance books (but with more integrity).
People need to stop using ChatGPT as their conversationalist/therapist/penpal.
Journal, instead. Even if your journal is a note app. Turn the music on and just write. Stop caring if you think you sound stupid/cringe/whatever. In the end you will see it as a beautiful thing, cause you aren't writing to a machine, but to yourself.
And your head will feel much clearer afterwards.
Elizabeth Taylor music video should've been the sequel to Wildest Dreams music video.
Everyone is talking about how Season 2 Weight Loss sounds like Headlock, but literally no one's saying the most obvious resemblance:
Coming Up Roses & Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus
After watching Sarah J Maas interview on Call Her Daddy and hearing her talk (mostly) about ACOTAR 5-6 and whatever is beyond, I think it's safe to say she'll never repeat the excellence of Throne of Glass.
ToG seemed like it was thought through and planned by her from start to finish. Authentic, but not overbearing.
On the other hand, ACOTAR after the original trilogy felt off. Cause sometimes putting your personal life in a fantasy novel is not a good idea.
Heard they're about to make a new adaptation of Jane Eyre. Please, just please, get Hozier on the soundtrack. That would be a perfect vibe.
Sometimes I wonder if Taylor Swift did the photoshoot for The Life of a Showgirl and went like: "yeah, I probably need to make an album to go with it". Not the other way around.
EXCITED!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
NEW JAMES MCAVOY MOVIE TRAILER IS HERE!!!!!!
So, James McAvoy has directed a film about two scottish rappers trying to make it in the US and it looks so refreshing I need y'all to watch it when it comes out in April!!
Here's the trailer btw:
EXCITED!!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You are never too old for things that you love
Is it just me or were both James McAvoy and Timothée Chalamet:
✅ in Dune
✅ in a movie with Saoirse Ronan
✅ played a know-it-all teenager from 1980s
✅ wore red scarves and no shirt for different reasons
✅ played cannibals
✅ made us cry over a gay romance movie (Call Me By Your Name and any X-Men movie aka Cherik never ending situationship)
As I was watching The Summer I Turned Pretty I realized I don't think Taylor Swift's music makes that great of a soundtrack for movies/tv shows. It makes a good edit, of course, but not a soundtrack. I always feel like it overshadows the show/movie it is in. Plus, BECAUSE her music is so big and so many people became swifties these last few years, her songs are incredibly recognizable, whenever one of her songs starts to play in a scene it takes me out of it, it's like breaking the fourth wall.
Booktok effect be like:
85% of romantasy books that came out in recent 2-3 years: she has magic abilities that are forbidden in her kingdom, she kills some important person in said kingdom, a mysterious hot young looking 6'5 (or taller) general/assassin from an enemy kingdom helps her escape, they hate (not really) and lust over each other, she learns some dark truths about her kingdom/her heritage, finds out he's actually king/prince of the enemy kingdom, they "break up" only to get together in the first 5 chapters of the second book.
P. S. Coming from a person who loved ACOTAR: it sprung too many low quality copycats.
