Someone has been slowly over the last few months making an avant garde art installation out of an abandoned Boston Market/Checkers. Their signboard messages keep getting torn down so their latest move was to make a flag of a photo of their previous masterpiece "PENIS WIGS FOR SAL" and run it up the flag pole
This thread omg
Family doesnât have to be blood related.
Sometimes family is a righteously angry little girl, her supportive brother, a random stranger with a thirst for chaos and justice, two foreign grandmas, and The Rest Of The Plane.
yasss this makes me happy like nothing else lol
in hungarian one of the words for bumblebee is dongĂł. anyways whenever a song has the phrase "baby don't go" in its lyrics (surprisingly often), i close my eyes to savor the beautiful picture it has painted in my mind's eye. bĂ©bidongĂł.... baby bumblebee đ
I love you MHA and I love you Katsuki and Izuku with all my heart. I hope you continue to be heroes and go on many adventures side by side for the rest of your lives.
The launch of Apollo 11 on July 16, 1969.
if you have to rely on specific scripts or turns of phrase to socialise that's totally fine, but you must NOT reveal them to your friends while slightly drunk. it's like showing how the magic trick works, you can't do it in front of them afterwards
i like dogs a lot but i can never remember the differences between breeds (apart from the few types i've actually owned/interacted with). but i know people looove their dogs and love talking about their dogs, so whenever im talking to a dog owner i'll ask what breed it is, and no matter what breed they say i'll say "oh! i've heard they have a really nice nature :D" and they always go YESSS THEY'RE GREAT and start gushing about their dog and we have a nice conversation and i build social credit with this person. anyway i told my friends about this script a few weeks ago when slightly drunk and now every time we're in public together and a dog goes past they turn to me and ask "does that one have a nice nature?" im in a hell of my own making
I often think about how loneliness is a more powerful emotion in theatre because youâre in a room full of people who all powerless to do anything but watch and I saw Eva Noblezada as Eurydice in Hadestown the other day and I cannot get her guttural âis anybody listeningâ out of my mind, she was screaming for someone to listen and youâre sat there mere metres away unable to let her know that you are, that her story is being told and she matters, so many people are listening but she doesnât know that
Must be getting too expensive to send shampoo to space.
sorry to everyone out there who thinks they have the funniest tshirt but i think i can confidently say i just saw the actual funniest tshirt just now. i passed by a beautiful black woman with long multicolor braids blowing majestically in the beach breeze & she was wearing an oversized tshirt that said in gigantic letters "WHITE BOY OF THE YEAR"
I think this is the single funniest artfight rule. Like....I guess?
Wh-what do you mean itâs from a birthday cake
Wednesday the 15th. What an excellent day. Middle of the week, middle of the month. Truly, we are in the middle of things.
I kept forgetting my nighttime antidepressant so I set an alarm where the sound was a recording of me saying "HEY. TAKE YOUR FUCKING PILL" because I thought it would be funny. It was funny about three times, and then it started making me mad and I'd dismiss it right away to make it stop. So I handed my phone to my partner, who made another recording sweetly saying "Okay Shira, it's time to take your medication" and now I don't get mad anymore and I take my pill. The "compassion over punishment" camp has gotta get something wrong one of these days
A demon has cursed you with the inability to have children or form a family, and as soon as you learn of this you went to tell the witch who you promised your firstborn child, as this clearly will prevent you from fulfilling your side of the deal.
The witch just nods and calls her lawyer Fae. Even demons need to learn to not infringe on deals.
Lawer fae: "After reviewing all of the documentation, I'm happy to inform you that there is a very simple solution!" đ
Witch: And that is?
Lawer fae: While we can't remove the curse ourselves, your deal predates it by a significant margin. And since the curse interferes with the deal maker's ability to fulfill their end of the agreement through no fault of their own, you would be well within your rights to demand that the Demon either remove the curse or pay the price instead!
Coming up next on "UNSEELIE COURT"...
I think we need a show like this. Either serious court drama or Ace Attorney shenanigans showcasing civil cases involving magical or supernatural beings and the deals or curses they make.
