Me, you and my murky dreams:
You were sitting right in front of me/ Your eyes shined as bright as a nebula/ I was a young star in the nebula/ You were a kid looking at the sky every night/ I left my home captivated by your eyes/ You wished upon me/ I burned myself falling for you
You gifted me a snow globe/ We were dancing in the snow globe/ We were waltzing while the sky crumbled down all around us/ You were gone, I was left alone in the rumbles
We were in a cathedral in Paris/ I was mesmerized by its stained glass windows/ Rain came crashing down the windows washing away everything around me/ A year later I couldn't walk with my clothes still soggy with the grief/ Shards of glass windows still slit my throat everytime I breathe
It was near midnight/ I was napping on your shoulder in a rather empty train/ I was an anxious body/ You were a lulling dream/ I woke up devastated that nothing of it was real/ I was losing you the harder I tried to remember/ You never quite left me though/ You came back in flashes making me melancholic, homesick for a place that existed only in my dreams
