Does anyone in the TWST community find this blog to be a bit suspicious? They’re a new account, and they’ve been posting a ton of fan fictions every single day, non-stop. It feels like way too many fanfics to be deemed appropriate for a new blog, and in general for a writer. And to be honest, some of the writing kind of just strikes me as being AI. Like I don’t know how to fully explain the feeling, but the default pfp, and the very new account with a shitload of posts just strikes me the wrong way.

If I’m wrong about my assumptions then I will gladly take down this post, but I just find it hella suspicious that they are writing so many one-shots and fics every single day.

Hi Sol, I made a post about an account that is (pretty much 100%) a bot that is posting presumably AI TWST fan fics. I just wanted to bring them to attention so that the TWST community could be aware. Their blog is azwachaudharysblog.

I wanted to let you know because I know you have a much bigger community than I do, so it will be easier to warn people about this person (bot?).

i do not like throwing out these accusations, mostly because ai has learned from human writing so i expect it to have the same quirks but i took a look at the blog you mentioned and jfc.

not only is it SO blatant, the uploading so so often is crazy.

even if they had a backlog, this seems straight up like bot behaviour, considering they're not engaging with anything else, just straight fic spam.

i've blocked them now.

You have to remember that Suit Saeran is and always has been a protector. Ultimately, he failed to protect those dearest to him and suffocated under the weight of Mint Eye's oppression. He woke up years after that, in a storm of dissociation and confusion, at a loss because his failure to be "strong" incurred Rika's wrath.

Ray lost, he failed, and anyone who came after them was doomed to the same outcome.

Unknown, or rather SE Saeran now, suffered to the brink of apathy. There was no room for emotions in his heart, only pain. Suit Saeran wouldn't be happy to learn about that. He's always put their safety at the forefront of his actions (even if his methodology hurt them, it was the only thing he could think to stop Rika from hurting them MORE). His role was rendered worthless, and now he doesn't know what to do with himself.

SE Saeran doesn't need him in the same way Ray did, but that doesn't mean he isn't going to try. He's going to attempt to make up for what he failed to do in the first place. He's going to make sure anyone who comes close to them isn't going to hurt them. However, this puts him close to Saeyoung in terms of emotional suffocation. Saeyoung is, for the lack of a better word, suffocating. His life's purpose was to keep his brother safe, and when confronted with the fact that his life was meant to be more than that, he couldn't take it.

He spiraled, pushing too hard, too fast, and it made SE Saeran fight back. That's the conflict I see between Suit Saeran and SE Saeran at their worst. Intention doesn't matter when it comes to impact. I'm not saying that Suit Saeran is going to sabotage relationships, but what I am saying is that Suit Saeran isn't going to make things super easy on whoever tries to come into their lives.

He's abrasive, meaning that he's the hard side of the sponge that tries to cake off the layers that get stuck to your dishes. The stuff that eats away at the stability and health of your plates! You're not going to win him overnight. You're going to have to show that you are a safe person for SE Saeran, Ray, and later on, him. Because he's going to dismiss his needs, as he often does, in favor of those he cares about.

If you try to strike up a conversation with him casually, he might ignore you. He might grunt, grumble, or turn away if you act like you're already good friends. How is he supposed to trust someone who says that they will be there for them when he's heard that before? The last person who said that is six feet under, and... SE Saeran can't sleep at night because of it. Who's to say you won't end up the same way? That's his fear, and it might take you a while to realize his fear isn't hatred.

It's the fear of grief, loss, death, erasure, and betrayal.

If you hurt SE Saeran or SE Ray by mistake, he'll close off any progress you might've otherwise made up until that point, too. He's guarded, and that's for good reason. He's upset FOR them, even if they aren't upset... and this makes for that conflict I was talking about a second ago. Ray may not be upset because he always clung to his other half, but that's surely not the case for SE Saeran. You go and approach him like you're Saeyoung, and it's not gonna be a good day.

They have spats, a lot.

You can't go between them. However, Suit Saeran will respect you more if you affirm SE Saeran's feelings. If you're SE Saeran's rock, if you keep him afloat and make him feel like he's an average guy, even after blow-ups happen, you're likely to garner his favor. He's not looking to see if someone will sit around and take conflict. He's looking to see if you're capable of handling how... messy they are. Again, it goes right back to his worst fears.

What if you can't take it anymore?

What if you leave one day and never come back because they're ruined and they ruined you?

What if he's ruined and he can never be okay again? What if he can't ever be close to another person because he's so caught up in being a protector that he can't see past his nose?

Because, at the end of the day, Suit Saeran WANTS. He yearns just as much, if not more, than Ray did. He just never felt safe enough to take what he wanted because he saw what Rika would do to them if he took one step out of line. Suit Saeran knows he's in the wrong. He just... he's got no idea how to stop being a protector. He's like Saeyoung. They've lost their original purpose and don't know how to move forward.

He's blunt, to the point, and never says more than he thinks he has to. He doesn't always know what's appropriate in conversations, so he has moments when he steps on someone's toes and sticks his head in the sand. Then he beats himself up in private because he doesn't like being this way. Why is he still doing this when there are no longer any monsters to hurt them?

Why is he the only monster left?

He's self-destructive to a point. He's afraid to be honest. Even if you catch him at a low moment, it will take a hundred tries to break past his shell. I do, however, think you can meet him there. You just have to be honest with him when he's cruel and hold him accountable. He wants that. He wants to be told he doesn't need to be mean anymore... but he doesn't know how to stop. He doesn't know if someone will have the right words to help him feel safe enough to move forward, but I think the only way to do that is simple.

He has to embrace your bond and give you a chance, while giving SE Saeran and Ray room to make mistakes and grow from them. Because the only way forward is to accept that they can be hurt, but he shouldn't spend his life bracing for impact. He'll forget to live.

while a bunch of you are reblogging my posts about the blackout and taking about how some nonblack dc fans don’t care about black people and supporting black art etc etc, i feel really inclined to say that a LOT of this support just stops at reblogging art or talking about comics about black characters. like a lot of nb people here don’t really seek black art in other ways outside of these comics or specific characters. and, relateldy, it’s starting to feel like some of these nb people have chose to make the blackout/(now cancelled) boycott the hill to die on when it comes to talking about black art and how much they support it.

in this fanbase i see people make playlists for characters and on these playlists sometimes there isn’t a single song by black artists. or the playlists lack any rap or hip hop or even soul music which are generes where black artists are very prominent.

i see people make AUs or crossovers or talk about how a character would enjoy xyz movie/show/musical and i can’t think of a single time it’s been a movie or show or musical by/about black people or black characters.

and sometimes it makes me feel a little bit awkward as a black person. like there’s been times where i try to say i think a song fits a character or ship and people have just never heard of the artist or the song or “i don’t listen to that stuff” (usually rap or hip hop) or don’t seem interested in hearing it. or, to get to know people, i ask them if they’ve heard xyz artist, or seen xyz movie, or watched xyz show. they never have.

like i remember last year BEGGING people over and over to please go watch sinners because it was SO good, some people admitted they waited until it was out on streaming because they didn’t think it would be a theatre worthy watch, etc. but when movies like FNAF2 or thunderbolts came out some of them ran to see them and talked about them for weeks??? (iirc there was even a captain america movie with a black lead that came out in 2025?? and i saw marvel fans fawning over thunderbolts so much and v little talk about a black man being captain america!!!)

those are just a few examples but really i guess i just want to say that a lot of people are seizing this opportunity to attack each other and bully each other and turn the dcsowhite talk in to a competition over who supposedly cares about black people The Most but all of that support is rarely going beyond this conversation or even outside of the fanbase. some people are putting black characters above real people as a whole (which was something that was acknowledged as a point of concern amongst black people discussing the blackout and was one of the things that determined the cancellation) and w some people it feels like they’re narrowing “supporting black art” down to comic books and then berating others for not caring about black creations when there’s so much more beyond comics that they themselves do not engage with at all.

there are so many other forms of art made by black people that you should all seek out with and engage with beyond just talking about comic books and comic characters! especially if you’re looking to branch away from dc or the comic business.

let your support go beyond talking about/reblogging posts about needing more comics.
