bear with me. but also twink with me and otter with me. happy pride month on planet earth baby
It's end of May, yall know what that means
wait you understand that kinks are ok because they're fantasies that make you happy right? you all get that you don't need to have trauma for your kinks to be okay? right? like none of you think i witnessed a tragic accident on the pool toy assembly line right?
like "some people work through their personal issues with kink" was a good first step for some of the class that were struggling but i think now we're ready for "things that don't hurt anyone and make people happy are okay even if you personally think it's icky"
BECAUSE ROUGE THE BAT DRAWN AS WIDE AS SHE IS TALL WITH TITS TO MATCH KILLED MY GRANDMA, OKAY?
stop normalizing the grind and normalize cuddling with cute boys
Please normalize grinding on cuddly boys
We're getting there little by little, sure. But it's a road.
Anyway happy international asexuality day back to work I go
Me, two glasses of wine in: "yeah so here's an in depth conversation about my identity as a nonbinary person, and my struggles with transphobia in 2023"
Median Center-Right American Dude at the party, also two drinks in: "Damn that's crazy, I never thought of it like that. Man, I'm sorry you gotta deal with this shit."
Me: "Ahh it's alright. I deal."
Random Guy: "People should just chill tf out."
Me: "Damn right"
Random Guy: "So if you're non binary, and, sorry if this is offensive but I don't know the right words here. Like, is it cross dressing for you if you wear a skirt?"
Me: "Its- hm. Huh. I have no idea."
Guy: "It must have been nice to go to school with other trans people. Like, you must've felt safe."
Me: "No actually it was the opposite. It just made me even more upset and confused. I didn't know what being non-binary was. I saw people that transitioned from one gender to the other and knew I wasn't that. It took me a long time to figure this shit out."
Guy: "man that sounds rough. No wonder you guys are upset all this time this sounds painful."
Me: "Well, it sucks until it suddenly doesn't. It sucks and then it rules hard."
Guy: "so It's like working out."
Me: [both of us are now nodding wisely] "it's like working out."
Guy who has only ever played undertale seeing a skeleton for the first time: "holy shit"
The cards see all.
heyyyy... can we discuss how transitioning can give you some results you aren't quite fond of without getting "that's a terf scare tactic!!" as the only response?
Some guys do go bald on t! And, just like in cis men, it can be a traumatizing experience if you suffer from body dysmorphia and/or use your hair as one of your main forms of self expression!
So like, if you are balding or are bald while on T, give yourself some time to be sad about it. But then seek out support! Tell close people you trust that you're insecure about your hairloss and would like some love! Join that bald guy subreddit where everyone celebrates baldness and there are rules against terms like "bad genes"! Research aesthetics and ways to express yourself as a bald person. There's a chance you've seen like 2 categories of bald queer and are scared you'd ve miserable and dysphoric fitting into both! Research more!! There are more out there!! Create your own aesthetic!! Maybe even look into wigs! If you're feminine like me, wigs give you the opportunity to get fucky with gender expression without it being semi-permanent like regular haircuts (freak on the weekends, normal during work)! If you're in the 20s and balding makes you feel older, this is a perfect time to get into how the concept of youth as your golden years is a capitalist scam and become anti beauty culture!
And most importantly: block every account that mocks people for balding. Yes, even if the one they're mocking is an anti-trans detransitioner! You don't need that in your life.
You're still sexy, you're still hot, you're still you! AND you aren't in the wrong for feeling insecure or scared or even angry at the people who mocked the idea of balding rather than considering a genuine discussion of it! What you're going through, what you're feeling, it's normal and expected. I love you. Please give yourself some grace.
its literally fine btw. i get mad and make a post about it occasionally, but yeah. being a balding guy is totally fine and not liferuining. its not even outfit ruining most of the time.
it is 100% fine to never wear a wig or a hat or a headscarf or any of that for fashion reasons*. you can still just wear whatever you wanted to before & be bald. it is fine.
treating baldness like a sign of disease that must be managed or hidden is weird. this is just a way your body can look. and it’s *your* body.
people act like balding is the worst thing that can ever happen to a person have some internal shit to work out. that is not your problem.
*def wear one for weather reasons tho. sun and cold can affect your scalp skin too!
girl help I'm ☠️
Interracial moodboard?
"Why do you talk so much about being intersex?"
Over 90% of parents of visibly intersex children opt for cosmetic surgery on their infants.
The ones that don't experience medical violence then, likely experience it as a teenager.
I didn't.
I am very rare in that I did not experience medical violence.
Why? Because I learned what intersexuality was as a young age, and I actively fought against what doctors wanted to do to me. All the way down to legal research on what medical care minors can be forced into. I remember walking into that doctor's appointment with the state law written down that proved that if I did not consent they could not do surgery.
That is why intersex activism is important. It saved me and it will save more.
#INTERSEX TALK MORE NOW AND PLEASE LISTEN

its so weird to me that cis people will dislike their name so ardently and yet. not change it. you guys know that’s an option, right. no one can make you keep the shit name your mom gave you. no, not even her.
One of my friends in undergrad changed his name because he didn’t want to bear the name of his abusive and absent father. It’s been years since he did it, and he still says that it was the single best decision of his life.
One of my friends in high school changed his named as soon as he turned 18, so that the ethnic name his family gave him was finally the name reflected on all of his paperwork. He told me that he understood why his parents had given him an “English” name, but that he felt that if he needed to assimilate in order to succeed, then that was a type of success that he didn’t want.
When I was on my way home from the courthouse after changing my own name, I got into a conversation with my rideshare driver, who was extremely interested once I told him what I was in court for, and wanted to know how I’d done it, how much it cost, was it difficult, etc. It turned out that his girlfriend had chosen the name “Yo-yo” when she came to the United States, unaware of how rare that was as a name, and that she was frequently made fun of because of it. Neither one of them had realized that a name change was so easy, and he told me he was excited to let her know that she had options.
There was an intern at a summer job I had once, who changed her name to be the same name, but a different spelling. She said that she had no idea why her parents had spelled her name so oddly to begin with, and suspected that it was just an honest mistake either by them or by some nurse, but it had been a headache for her entire life, and it was a huge relief to not need to be correcting people’s spelling on important documents anymore.
One of my exes legally changed his name to have an exclamation point, because he liked to sign his name with an exclamation point.
You can always change your name if you don’t like it. You always have that option. It doesn’t matter why – it can be conformist or anti-assimilationist, serious or silly, a minor change or a major change. Your name is yours, and you have every right to change it to be whatever you want.
setup and punchline
The artist is luo li rong
The statue doesn’t have big enough titties to have been made by a man.
I know I’ve reblogged this before but the schadenfreude is too delicious.
By the way, the statue is called La mélodie oubliée (The Forgotten Melody). Luo Li Rong also painted it:
And here she and the statue are in a more formal setting (museum or art show, I can’t tell):
“Dork ass losers”
ok i’ve reblogged this before and also other photo sets of the sculptor and sculpture but like y'all y'all didn’t show me that picture of her in that sexy ass suit before goddamn
