those two scottish cunts are mad for walking 500 miles and then 500 more but when you think about how much an uber costs they start talking sense
I am chronically online but not in a way that keeps me informed #mybubble
Conservative beauty standards are back with a vengeance which means it's especially important to go out this summer with bellies out and bodies unshaved. Also be unapologetically disabled with mobility aids and wearable medical devices and stim toys and ear defenders and all that stuff. You need it. People need to see it. Everyone needs to be reminded that life is unquestioningly more enjoyable when you're not living inside an arbitrary set of rules created by people who are offended by all the wrong things.
as a disabled person, i know what it’s like to not be able to work. that’s why this disability pride month i’m partnering with every single printer,
"i asked chatgpt" well i calculated the number of the beast. it is napoleon. six hundred three score and six. and i will kill him one day. he's no great man, none of us are great men, we're caught in the waves of history. nothing matters; everything matters, it's all the same. Oh, if only I could not see it, that dreadful, terrible, it.

My boss was like “Do you have any idea how much money we’re losing” like who cares, it’s not like they would give it to me otherwise
Have our investors tried making coffee at home and not eating out so much?
I'm sorry but I'm such a slut when it comes to Edgeworth actively being in love with Phoenix, appreciating him and showing it to him.
Like yes he's generally closed off and pretty emotionally stunted and his tsundere charms have contributed to 90% of his popularity but this man is up there in the top 10 pathetic yearners of all time.
Idk there's this tendency to put him in the "nagging wife" box where he's portrayed as like "Good grief Wright there you go being stupid again I can't believe I'm in love with such an idiot"
which is kind of a disservice to both of them because while Phoenix may have a very unorthodox approach to most things, he's really fucking smart actually(!!). Also even more of a bitch than Edgeworth but that's another discussion.
I kind of see where it's coming from but don't let Edgeworth's aloof demeanor fool you. He's just as down bad for Phoenix. He charters multiple private jets for him, brings him along to Europe because he values his opinion on cases (even though he is disbarred at the time), constantly thinks of him when he's in trouble or lonely or confused, makes an effort to be involved in his life and goes along with all of his schemes. Sometimes even egging Phoenix on when he gets another crazy (and smart!!) idea.
Give me more Miles Edgeworth appreciating Phoenix and his intellect and showering him in gifts and being actively happy to be with him!! Not just passively going along with his whims and grumbling to himself about how he can't stand anything about him, actually.
I have a folder called Time is a Flat Circle in which I collect evidence of humanity. Here is most of them.
Okayokayokayokaybut "My hand will wear out but the inscription will remain" is kind of a power line BEFORE you factor in that it is, in fact, over a thousand years old.
Me, every time I see this multigenerational handprint mural from Cueva de Los Manos:
just casually leaving this here for no particular reason
You know what? Fuck it I'm adding more context. Sesame Street has talked about the topic of death more than once and it's done with such gentle carefulness without watering down or censoring the heaviness of the situations. It treats heavy subject matter with respect and dignity and has been for DECADES. From the early 1980s:
To 2025:
Hell, they even cover the devastating heaviness of MASS SHOOTINGS without censoring or watering anything down.
They've been doing this for YEARS, and it's ALWAYS handled with dignity, respect, seriousness, understanding, and love.
Whenever I see people censoring words because it "might offend" someone or the big ad companies that are currently trying to run everything? I just want to say to them: "What? Is Sesame Street too mature for you?" Because really...what the hell are we doing.
Mister Roger's Neighborhood also covered difficult topics with respect, age-appropriately, and without pulling a single punch. It's crazy that we've worked ourselves up so much that we're self-censoring like it's always been the norm.
This clip is from 1968 and discussed assassination after Bobby Kennedy died.
I'm not sure when this clip originally aired, but it was likely sometime in the 1980s. They talk about murder and, incredibly by today's standards, what sort of emotions (anger, fear, loneliness) might drive someone to hurt or kill other people + how we can manage our own difficult or painful feelings.

there are places in the world today that are experiencing 40°C for the first time in recorded history. of course there's no way to know whether chucking billionaires into volcanos will appease the sun god but i feel we're doing the scientific method a disservice if we don't at least try
a book should be $5 a little drink should be $2 and museum access should be free and all hours
