It also emphasizes how different this is from the magic we've seen from her before. Like, it was a major, albeit comedic, plot point that her water walking spell doesn't even work if your hair is too dirty. She isn't super particular about hygiene just because she likes to be clean, or thinks it's icky otherwise, this is a serious practical concern that her magic doesn't work as well without that purity. A difficult spell, requiring precision and with high stakes for failure, you would expect her to spend an hour beforehand fastidiously sterilizing everything involved like she's about to do brain surgery.

But this isn't that kind of spell. This spell is playing by an entirely different set of rules. This is magic that was created by, and for, people who are soaked in blood.

Favorite color: blue or black. Technically both. I love blues, especially deeper blues but black has also always been my color. I've gravitated towards it since I was young. (I was born to be goth rofl.)

Sweet, spicy or savory: this one is weird. In the last five years, especially this past year, my tolerance for anything sweet has drastically diminished. I still love savory stuff but I have to be in the mood. And my spice tolerance has increased in a weird balancing act to the growing intolerance for sweets? So...spicy, I guess?

Current obsession: Twisted Wonderland (secondary obsession is still horror media, and Disney properties are sort of a side focus/satellite thing as a result of the TWST obsession; I cannot stress enough this silly little mobile game became both a SpIn and a hyperfixation in record time and it's been going strong since late October 2023 and shows no signs of stopping. Favorite Color: pink and yellow! i don't know why i suddenly became so enamored with the color pink-- like a nice, muted dusty pink. maybe it's just repaying all those childhood years i spent hating it out of a sense of 'iM nOt LiKe oThEr GiRlS' (looks at the camera in genderqueer).

and i like a mellow yellow because a lot of my favorite characters just tend to end up being yellow coded, so i've come to see it as 'my color.'

Last TV Show - The Mandalorian. My Star Wars-obsessed and very bi roommate is showing it to me and gushing about how cute he is the whole time.

Favorite Color - Black and red. Queen of hell realness.

Sweet, Spicy, or Savory - Definitely savory. All of my favorite foods have elements of it. The desire to consume flesh. Sweet is cool too but it makes feel sick after too much of it. I am overwhelmingly neutral towards spiciness.

Last Album - The Hazbin Hotel soundtrack. Nothing is quite scratching my brain the same way right now. Poison is the best song and I will not be taking complaints at this time.

Last Film - I watched Everything, Everywhere, All at Once last week and it was one of the most overwhelming viewing experiences of my life. It has two (2) more fight scenes involving sex toys than I was expecting (I was expecting zero).

the animation in trigun stampede gives me the exact same excitement that i get from the art in trigun maximum and it’s SUCH a good feeling

at first i was disappointed by the overall lack of feathers in tristamp but i’m completely over it now; i really really love the perspective that the new designs give to the difference between knives and vash’s wings as well

their wings have always been a clear representation of themselves—knives’ are bladed weapons while vash’s are organic and used to shield & protect

while knives’ wings in stampede are still in the same vein, vash’s are even more breathtaking to me. creating their shape with an array of roots and lights that them look so alive and beautiful…
