If the 2022 Batmana gets a sequel, characters I think / hope will show up and why:

(This is going to be rather long, so sorry in advance. Also, SPOILERS)

Batman : It is literally about him.

Alfred : He is Bruce's father figure, and he did end up surviving the bomb that was sent by Riddler.

Penguin : After Falcone's death, it is most likely he took over all the territory that Falcone had. Since he helped with the url riddle, it would be likely for him to help out in future cases.

Joker : He was shown (mostly heard) in the cell next to Riddler, which might lead into a team up against Batman and Robin / Nightwing. There was also a deleted scene with him in it.

James Gordon: He is one of the most helpful allies of Batman.

Riddler : He was the main antagonist of the 2022 film. There was one person on his "hit list" he didn't get, Bruce Wayne. He'll most likely spend time trying to kill Bruce Wayne.

Richard "Dick" Grayson : Though there is zero evidence (that I know of) about him maybe appearing, I really hope he appears. Mostly because it'd be funny to see Batman deal with parenthood. On a serious note he could help Bruce break out of the barriers he surrounded himself in. Also, with the amount of villains I hope to be in here, Bruce is going to need help.

Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy's to be specific) : Near the end of the film we were shown the asylum, which could lead up to Dr. Crane appearing; treating either Joker or Riddler. He could use the fear toxin on Batman, and the result could be of his parents death, bats, or being a bad parent to Dick (making him a villain). Also, I really want the actor, Cillian Murphy, to play him once again since he did such a fantastic job the first time.

Harley Quinn : What is Joker without his Harley Quinn? Once again, we were shown the asylum close to the end of the film. It would be cool to see her slowly turn into Harley Quinn throughout the film.

Bane : That green stuff in the tube that Batman stabs in his leg was venom. Venom is a toxin thing that bane uses to become strong (its located in the tubes). Since that's in there, Bane might show up.

Catwoman : I feel like she might appear, but most likely at the end of the movie. I'm not sure why she would come back, but it could be some type of unfinished business.
