ok so we all know we can shift to different realities but how come no characters have figured out shifting to ours (unless you count kinning i Guess) like... if i wanna teach someone to shift here im fairly certain they wouldnt be able to (at the same time i dont blame them much bc this reality is terrible)

You bring up an excellent question! And I have a couple of theories on it.

Firstly, there is no reason why they cant shift here. But just because they can doesn't mean they will, or that we'd notice.

For example if to get here, they made a script and in that script they had a full life here, would we know? No. We woudnt, because by them scripting in their life, our reality accepts that they're supposed to be here. And we would remember what they've scripted us to. (In terms of interaction and memories)

And if they didnt script, they just need to say something semi believable and we'd probably go: yo, that checks out, nice to meet you.

So in terms of theory, yeah, they could come here.

However, if their travel is anything like ours, then they'd need to have a solid idea of where they're going. This could be through seeing relevent media (books, films, tv) or through memories or history. So, if their reality has a link to ours through fact or fiction, then sure. If not, its like travelling blind, and they may go to a reality that is similar, but not ours. Or they may be unable to do it.

But, yeah, thats my take on in 😅

tldr: Theres no reason why they couldn't come here, and they may well do. However we may not be able to tell that they shifted here.

Or they could end up at a reality similar to ours, but not the same.

It’s like how bath towels in comics miraculously wrap completely around breasts. Or how even when injured and dead on the ground women in comics have to be twisted into “sexy” poses. Or how women in comics walk like they’re in high heels even barefoot. 

It’s the only way men know how to draw women, because to them female characters are only there to be sexy. They only think of “women” as exploitative costumes and camera angles, high heels and titillation. Sex objects to ogle, plot objects to further male heroes’ narratives and drama, not heroes to cheer for.

I think the best imagery I’ve seen to explain the difference between what men think male objectification is vs what women actually want to see is the Hugh Jackman magazine covers.

Hugh Jackman on a men’s magazine. He’s shirtless and buff and angry. He’s imposing and aggressive. This is a male power fantasy, it’s what men want to be and aspire to - intense masculinity.
