Amongst the twisting vines, you might be unfortunate enough to find some truly bizarre commentary, or perhaps something someone somewhere might find somewhat enlightening, entirely courtesy of yours truly. Quality posts these will almost certainly not be, but hopefully they’ll be at least mildly entertaining.

I hate how accurately the movie depicts society's view of people not in romantic relationships is.

Ryland Grace was not a sad man waiting for his demise. He was happy. He loved teaching, his students were SO important to him. He had a good life.

But he didn't fit societal norms and that somehow made his life less valuable? The way Stratt saying "oh you're not married, you don't have any immediate family or even a dog" was treated as part of an explanation as to why he should be more willing to go on a SUICIDE MISSION?! As if that somehow made his life less important? As if it made him some sort of expandable material?

It's genuinely so sad how realistic it is. It's also part of the reason why I wholeheartedly believe in aroace Grace. It's just such a common experience within the community that even if it's unintentional it feels like finally getting some sort of representation.

(I genuinely hope this post is at least somewhat coherent it's basically just a rant written at two am that I'm too tired to look through <33)

Finally drew something for pride month

When they first open up to polyamory, Uzi and V take a little while to get really comfortable with each other, Uzi because she half thinks V is just doing this whole act to get some more dirt on her, and half thinks she's just agreeing to get her to leave N alone, and V because she feels incredibly guilty and doesn't think she deserves to be happy after everything she's done to them both.

Uzi would be the one to notice what V's really thinking first, after a bit of seeing how she is with N when V doesn't realize she's around, and noticing the exact same hesitation with him too.

She ends up working herself up to being a lot more physically affectionate to them both, Uzi would already stand by them both pretty often, occasionally grabbing their hands, but mostly would let them handle a lot more of the initiations— especially in public. Which often meant V usually just... wouldn't. But now she's openly leaning on them, hugging them, and to both of their surprises jumping on them for the hell of it.

For V and N, it's just amazing. N is so happy he often can't control his tail's wagging, leaning into everything and purring so much and so loud it shakes his whole body. And V? She's not getting a moment of peace between the two. The second she has a thought of self doubt or thinks about how she doesn't deserve them, one or both of them are in her space. She doesn't know how to handle it, but does what she can to reciprocate.

It's not perfect by any means, they NEED to sit down and talk about it, but it helps get them all comfortable enough before they have that emotional conversation.

Funny AU: Uzi hacked V and N to let them choose who their new admins are at the end of episode 5, and literally doesn't know they chose her when they both fully had the option to make themselves their own admins for the first time ever.

V and N don't really tell her either, previous Headcanons of mine in place about how Uzi would actually be a good admin added in too, and there's basically nothing that even implies to her that she's been their admin the whole time. It's not until the two bring it up when Uzi's talking about helping them change their code to reduce how fast the oil they consume is used up that she learns she's been their admin the whole time.

And Uzi's terrified. She thinks she messed up somehow, offers immediately to de-admin herself from their code, apologizing and saying she meant to give them the opportunity to make themselves their own admins. But N and V tell her that they DID have the choice, and chose to make her their admins.

Uzi's got no clue what to make of it, because for Worker Drones on Copper-9, administrative access is something VERY intimate. All of them are their own admins, except for a very small few who decided to become each other's admins. Something seen as even more intimate than marriage. A level of intimacy that a large portion of the population wouldn't even consider for a moment because the amount of trust it requires is just that high.

But V and N are just talking about how awesome it is that she's their admin (V is acting like she doesn't give a damn but is also smiling and refuses the switch Uzi offers up) and N is hyping up how much better of an admin she is compared to Cyn— which is how Uzi learns about how specifically the DDs are affected by their admins.

And poor Uzi's flustered beyond comparison because, well, she grew up knowing through hushed whispers how her parents were planning on making each other their admins. She KNOWS what that means. And she spends a good 15 minutes hyping herself up to explain why they shouldn't make the information public if they really don't wanna change it. They blush so badly their visors are just pure yellow for a bit, but also don't remove her as their admin.

Basically: N and V accidentally go from being friends to something way more intimate than marriage before Uzi's up to speed.

Random thought I’d like to share

Since drones are made and metal and such, im sure they could do a drone equivalent of tattoos…but then what little car knowledge I do have came back to me!

Decals and car wraps!

Decals are simple enough but drone wraps would have been cool too!

Though now im thinking of a drone with this as their exterior wrap and playing the animation of the kitten on their face while they have a rainbow going off to the side.

But think about all the possibilities!

Maybe drone wraps were a thing on earth, imagine the little world building, some humans doing it for a theme so getting the same sort of wrap while others let the drone themselves chose as long as they can afford it.
