I honestly agree with this so much, cause percy is a kid first of all, you absolutely cannot compare him to the booktok book boyfriends cause he's not that. People need to understand that the Percy Jackson series is not a romantic series, romance is just a subplot. Also these are teenagers, just starting to get attracted to other people, while fighting monsters and gods in a life or death situation. Also, tbh, percy is kinda oblivious...... so you can't really blame him.
