not to talk about the hp show but it's wild to me that jkr was like publicly and explicitly like "the last set of child actors have denounced my bigotry, I want a new set of child actors to groom. create a television program so I can have new children" and everyone was just like ok joanne! :) here's your new children! :)
me: i can't do anything... i don't know what my life is anymore...

At risk of sounding like a hater and an asshole this looks like AI and if its somehow not, the editor who reworked images and sharpened them up made it look like AI
Edit: yeah its AI
This is the actual image (from a 6 year old reddit post so def not AI). Either someone asked AI to recreate it or AI, being the plagiarism machine it is, was asked for a pic of dogs finding humans in the snow and just ripped off the first image it could find. Another reminder that AI doesn't actually create anything. Also real cute dogs.
Actually a fantastic example for when you need to illustrate to someone that AI art is theft, blatantly, and not in some abstract way
It's weird to think that big hollywood movies are edited on normal editing software and they have to click a little export button just like anyone else when it's done. It feels like they should be edited on a big machine with a bunch of lights and when it's time to export you have to flip a huge mechanical lever.

yeah actually we removed the big bad wolf from the little red riding hood story because portraying violence against minors is really messed up. yeah. yeah also the wolf narrative was really predatory and had had some icky grooming vibes and a fable meant for literal children shouldn’t have implied p*do shit and grape so now little red riding hood goes into the woods and nothing happens and she goes to grandma’s house. don’t worry our kids will still stick to the path and know not to follow to wolves implicitly because we told them to and children should always do as their told. just like little red riding hood does now.
its crazy how so many people do not understand that social isolation isnt just sitting alone in your apartment all day never speaking to anyone you could be surrounded by acquaintances and friends but have absolutely no genuine connection or shared values so every interaction is shallow its basically just as bad as being alone if not worse
there are dudes in this world who will take demanding jobs with long hours and inconvenient shift times simply to avoid any childcare or fathering in general. just so they can say “I work myself to the BONE for this family!” when their wife asks them to change a diaper or their kid wants them to come to their ball game. don’t get it twisted, there are so many people who have to work so hard to keep their family fed and lament the time they miss with their children. then there are guys who are like “I would love to take that shift on Saturday do I don’t have to go to my kid’s piano recital” and then play the family martyr. the different is apparent and we’ve all met, known of or worked with this guy.

i love it when in the middle of sharing information the person becomes completely unreliable 🎭
"what did students do before chatgpt?" well one time i forgot i had a history essay due at my 10am class the morning of so over the course of my 30 minute bus ride to school i awkwardly used by backpack as a desk, sped wrote the essay, and got an A on it.
six months later i re-read the essay prior to the final exam, went 'ohhhh yeah i remember this', got a question on that topic, and aced it.
point being that actually doing the work is how you learn the material and internalize it. ChatGPT can give you a short cut but you won't build you the the muscles.
Also sometimes you just turned something in late or got a bad grade and that was also part of life and learning.
‘MEMORIAL TO 418 PALESTINIAN VILLAGES WHICH WERE DESTROYED, DEPOPULATED AND OCCUPIED BY ISRAEL IN 1948’ (2001), is a work by Palestinian artist Emily Jacir, born in 1972, featuring a refugee tent embroidered with the names of Palestinian villages impacted by Israeli expansion.
Yet again, "pro life" and "protect our children" are proven to have been lies this entire time.
academic dishonesty is not something you can spin as moral lol i do not want to share a career field let alone a social sphere with a bunch of chatgpt using ass bitches
"you're just scared your diploma is going to devalue" i'm afraid you dumb bitches are going to become my colleagues and drag social services to hell
I'm afraid they'll become scientists and data that lives depend on will turn out to be wrong - and people will die.
I'm afraid they'll become engineers and sign off on bridge designs that collapse - and people will die.
I'm afraid they'll become medical professionals who don't know what they're doing - and people will die.
The assumption that academic dishonesty is okay is rooted in the idea that what you're learning to do doesn't matter.
I'm also afraid the lack of civic sense and morality inherent to, 'There's nothing wrong with cheating' will spread to other aspects of our frail civilization.
