we're the Infinite Crossroads, an adult-bodied (25yrs) origins georgoplex system composed of many divisions.

While most of us are people, some (olive branch.ext) are parts seeking fusion. we talk about this openly and without trigger warning. if it makes you uncomfortable, block the tag 'fusion.hyp'. we also give it every other tag under the sun except for the 'tw/cw' ones. please understand that not treating this as a triggering subject is insturmental to our healing.

We are people just like you

We are statistically more likely to be harmed than to do harm

Not all of us are overt, there’s a good chance you have talked to and maybe even been friends with a schizophrenic without knowing!

There’s more schizophrenia spectrum disorders than just schizophrenia, such as schizoaffective personality disorder

“Schizo” is considered an offensive term by many schizophrenics and some even consider it a slur against us, if you aren’t schizospec yourself please try to avoid using it (as well as “psycho” for psychosis!)

Similarly, the recently common “quirky” online phrases “delulu”, “schizoposting”, “I’m so delusional” (without actually having a delusion), etc are also very offensive! We aren’t a joke!

Not all of us hallucinate or have delusions. There’s more symptoms than just those 2 and the schizophrenia diagnostic criteria doesn’t even necessarily require either of them to be present

We can sometimes know we’re having a delusion while still experiencing the delusion, it’s called double bookkeeping

We deserve rights and bodily autonomy (that includes to not be forcefully drugged and locked up without our consent!!!)

every time we see somebody say 'endogenic systems need to also have trauma to have a dissociative disordered system' it kinda pisses us the hell off.

- for one thing, disassociating as a symptom can come about from other mental stuff. & brains are already wierd enough to make plurality without an apparent cause. dissociative symptoms arent far behind.

- it'd be highly impractical for there to be a trauma requirement at all for diagnosis. that would require uncovering a history that a traumatized system is not yet at a good place for.

- & from a community perspective it's just safer if people aren't expected to automatically have a trauma history.

- & honestly people only ever seem to bring this up as a respectability politics thing & we're not about that.
