Riddle me this. if the mafia boss man Brian Cameron was supposed to be a mirror for God, then that would mean Aziraphale was supposed to outsmart God at Her own game. but instead he once again followed Her rules, Her ultimatum, and got played

We should have gotten a BAMF scene where Aziraphale delivers the smackdown to God a la the Crossword scene, with Crowley looking on in awe, maybe even after Crowley decided to sacrifice himself. For the emotional drama and and impact.

Aziraphale FINALLY going NO. I REJECT GOD. I REJECT HER RULES. I REJECT HER PLANS. And then outsmarting Her to end Her once and for all and give everyone a happily ever after

There could have been a great parallel from season 1 of Adam rejecting Satan as his father. Aziraphale rejecting God and tricking the system at the same time. "What if... it was never 'God's Ineffable Plan?' What if it's always just been The Ineffable Plan?" And God and Satan are like "huh?"

But Crowley catches on and chimes in with "THE Ineffable plan. Can't know it by definition. Even Her. Who's to say God's ending is the actual intended ending?"

"Yes, I don't even think She has the authority to decide the fate of existence itself. What a ridiculous notion."

And then God is like "You aren't making any sense, if I don't control existence, who does?"

And Aziraphale looks at Crowley and then back to Her and they both just shrug and answer together: "no one." And then with a whoosh all of the books fill up with every story humanity has ever told and the world starts popping back up and we flashback to Aziraphale writing in the book but what we heard him saying is different from what he was actually writing and then we see that what he actually just wrote was "It's ineffable."
