wammy boys headcanons

Mello:

raised catholic (gradually stopped believing when he was at Wammy's, still wears a rosary everywhere (fidgeting with it and reciting the prayers helps him calm down))

mostly listens to heavy metal, death/black metal, goth music, and ABBA specifically

felt guilty as a kid for wanting to dress more feminine (kinda wants to be a woman sometimes but psst...)

Matt:

bad eyesight (the goggles have prescription, he thinks they're cooler than regular glasses) (he probably had really big nerd glasses as a kid)

he and Mello cut each others hair (Matt gets split ends really fast (he dyes his hair a lot so it's super damaged))

has ADHD

Near:

lowk looks like the lovechild of a creepy porcelain doll and a strange bug

randomly stares at people (the kids at wammy's are all kind of unsettled by him)

sometimes gets mistaken for being a girl (he does not care. (nb))

gets sick really easily

is autistic (big picky eater, sensory issues, especially with clothing)
