this post will be very simple. i am only looking for something.
this ceiling tile was spotted in my school, dated to 2014. full name signature is blurred out to respect the privacy of the creator.
11 years. eleven years ago a homestuck walked the halls of MY school. the same halls i walked. the same classes i go to.
why does this matter, you ask? well, that's because my life is generally uneventful aside from fleeting personal joys that i find throughout the days. and also because i fucking WANT IT TO, DAMMIT.
i'll check the wall backstage with previous cast and crew members' names and the wall in the choir room for the name on the tile just because i'm curious but it probably won't help me.
i also plan to make a similar homestuck ceiling tile before my graduation in this tile's honor. and in honor of my own obsession with this stupid fucking comic.
if the original artist wants me to take this down then i will but this is a serious ARTIST SEARCH POST. you can tell i'm serious because i'm using my SERIOUS PUNCTUATION. i'm so fucking serious right now.

Get geared up guys. I'm actually probably going to school tomorrow (if it isn't the fiftieth snow day ever). I'll probably check the wall backstage after school since no theatre productions are happening but if it's locked I might have to wait for a couple months.
To keep your hungers satiated (and to keep my time bided), I've drawn a map of the hall which this is localized to in my school.
As you can see, I have easy access to the autograph wall for previous choir students who enrolled for 3 years-- but not the autograph wall for those who enrolled in theatre programs before leaving the school.
The autograph wall in the choir room is pretty tall and also crowded, so I might have to just ask the choir teacher if she's heard of the student, but she joined more recently than the ceiling tile had been put up, so she's probably not going to know the name, and I'm not sure when the theatre teacher started working here, so he might not know the name either. I don't even know if there are any teachers that've been here since 2014 or before, let alone one that taught the artist in question.
I was going to say here that I'd rather not ask for people to search based on art style, but I am getting kind of desperate.
I would appreciate being informed of any artists that posted Homestuck fanart in 2014 (or surrounding that period, 2013-2016) with these designs of Dave and Bro (at the time). DM me or put it in my ask box.
Again, I'll take these posts down if the original artist of this ceiling tile requests such.

I found out the wall that their signature could potentially have been on was painted over. I am waiting for my choir teacher to give me a photo of such. She is kind of an ass though and owns a Tesla (I don't know if it's a Cybertruck or not) and a lakeside house, neighboring an eccentric exotic animal collector (which I'm slightly concerned about. I don't think Kansas provides correct living conditions for something such as a Capybara (which she does have) to live well unless you have the budget of the KC zoo), so I might not get anything from her.
I found the Class of 2018 account for the high school they might have gone to. I ctrl + f searched their full name but I don't think it worked.
I have a list somewhere of all the teachers that worked at the school from 2012 (hey that's my birth year!) to 2014. I don't actually know if the student was here for a full 3 years or if they came to the school in the middle. I also don't know what elementary school they might have gone to and I don't know if it was different schools in '12-'14 that funneled in than there are now.
Both my theater teacher and my choir teacher have been here only since 2020, and by that time this student was long graduated from high school, so I can't get much info from them other than the aforementioned autograph walls.
Several of the teachers on the Potential Teachers They Might've Had list are also very mean and one of them told me I couldn't wear my shades at school. So there's that.
My progress has also been stressed by continuous harassment and threats to tattle on me for... bumping into someone. I can't do much but fear, scream, and punch right now, and I think we all know that none of those really work. This sort of stuff usually distracts me from investigating so progress may be slower for however long the macho sporty jock boys in my school are having their PMS (pre-manliness syndrome) which usually ranges anywhere from a day to a week, proceeding with a recess about the same length as the freak-out. My timing may be off though since we had almost a full week of snow days last week and it boggled my chronologicality brainsphere.
