Content: Captivity.
Whumpee who endures what Whumper promises to be the "last session before they get to go home" about once a week.
They know that Whumper is making false promises. They know, but what if this really is it? What if they really mean it this time? They can't bare the thought of declining their only way out.
Every week, they're wrong.
Whumpee only behaving when Caretaker's in the room.
A nightmare hospital patient, resisting, struggling and uncooperative until caretaker walks in.
On team meetings, they're difficult, heated and argumentative from start to finish, until caretaker joins and they're all like:
"Open your mouth...mhm, good...ah--no, no...don't close until I say so..."
Content: Grief (no death), implied kidnapping, recovery, implied rescue.
Whumpee begins to feel a little suspicious as Caretaker remains quiet about things they would have complained about before (feet on the coffee table, unwashed dishes, etc.)
but when they confront them about it - perhaps a little too defensively - Caretaker merely shrugs and admits that it was one of the things they regretted most when Whumpee went missing. They tell them about all the hours they spent up at night thinking about the fact that the last time they spoke, was when Caretaker scolded them for leaving a stain on the kitchen bench as Whumpee left for work.
Granted, Whumpee's laughter could be heard after the door closed behind them, but it still weighed heavily on them that it was anything other than 'I love you'.
"I always thought it was stupid when people said they missed the annoying things about the people they've lost, but God, I wanted nothing more than to come home from work and see you doing the dumb shit I always told you not to do. I would have given anything."
I'm just... losing my mind over the thought of someone coming from a wealthy or refined background who has had perfect etiquette and decorum drilled into them that they can't drop it even if they tried. Someone who looks and acts so incredibly proper and put together, the type of person who always says sorry or excuse me after coughing or sneezing.... coming undone with a terrible cold or flu. They feel so horribly sick they don't even have the energy to excuse themselves. Their LACK of their otherwise perfect manners is a sign to their friends or partner that something is seriously wrong with them and that they are down BAD.
Hey I have a character who had been tortured for a month or more and I wanted help to make it medically accurate. I'm planning to give her a collapsed lung, pneumonia (waterboarded and possible bleeding lung), broken hand, a skull fracture, broken nose, one permanently damaged eye, 7 broken ribs, internal bleeding, evisceration, permanently damaged uterus from blunt force trauma(I'm not sure if that's possible), acid burnt legs and a broken foot. She suffers cardiac arrest in the ambulance and a week long coma with sepsis which the antibiotics cured afterwards and she has seizures during recovery because she was drugged with cocaine and pancuronium bromide during torture. And of course severe cptsd. Ik it's a lot but I just love your whump stories and I want someone to correct meππππ

Okay, diving into your list... There's quite a lot going and I love all this angsty and gory scenario but we might need to tweak a few things.
The biggest problem here is evisceration: it's highly unlikely your character will be able to survive something like that without immediate medical attention. Massive blood loss, shock, infection, and organ damage are inevitable and fatal, especially because organs are exiting the body.
Another issue might arouse with the combination of the two drugs: pancuronium bromide paralyzes breathing musclesΒ and combined with cocaine (which stresses the heart) and her existing lung injuries, this would cause conscious suffocation and almost certain deathΒ duringΒ the torture.Β
Overall, the other injuries seem all plausible, and the damages to the uterus are likely possible (but my knowledge comes from whump stories not medical studies π€), still i'll advise giving your character a longer coma, probably of weeks or months, to let her body recover completely.
In the end, your ideas are fantastically whumpy! It's really nice what you did to your character and I hope i could be of help!!

Allergy whump
like imagine your poor blorbo having to eat something they KNOW theyβre allergic to. ESPECIALLY after theyβve been starved, mayhap.
Or they donβt realise it has the food theyβre allergic to in, and so they start eating and wonder why their throatβs suddenly itchy

A little something i'd like to add is that it could be that they are held captive and they are beaten and starved and the Whumper arrives with food they know Whumpee is allergic to, and Whumpee knows that too :DD
Image the angsttt!! Whumpe is soo hungry but they know they shouldn't eat because that will make them only feel worse!! And yet the Whumper forces them to, or else they will punish Whumpee later!!

Day 12: Vulnerability | Hidden Injury
Content: Implied touch starvation, recovery, PTSD/trauma.
Whumpee who defensively rejects a hug or some form of affection, only to regret it - but they can't take it back now, can they? Not when they were so rude to Caretaker for offering. They couldn't possibly. They were lucky enough to have avoided a beating for daring to say no.
I love when a character is throwing up so much that they can't take breaths in between. They're stomach won't stop trying to turn itself inside out, and they let out heave after heave.
Their face is red from exertion. The caretaker with them is getting more and more worried. Maybe the sick person is panicking, or the force of vomiting causes an asthma attack. Either way, they cannot breathe. Instead, they're helplessly choking on their own vomit.
A caretaker is frantically hitting their back, rubbing their chest, and trying to get them to calm down and take a breath.
Fevers
Whumpees with aching eyes, too tired to keep open yet too sore to close, even the lightest pressure of their eyelids too much
Whumpee who's too weak and dizzy to do anything at all but lie in bed completely still, sweating through their blankets only to immediately start shivering after clumsily throwing them off
Whumpees with dry mouths, dry lips
The corners of their room are more shadowy than they should be, and they're too exhausted to bother to get up and see what's in there. The Hat Man will have to just wait his turn.
Strong enough to get out of bed but being so, so out of it. Caretaker finding them standing swaying in a doorway, pale as death, clearly seeing something that isn't there
Everything seems to be flickering. The air buzzes. Their skin prickles.
Getting to sleep is hard, because their mind is restless and racing. Once they're asleep though, they're down for the count
Chattering teeth. Their bones must be rattling, for how much they ache
characters apologizing for things they have no control over. mumbling sorry while losing consciousness. feeling ashamed of a bleeding wound. embarrassed when an infection sets in. deep seated feverish guilt when they need to be carried, when their legs won't keep them upright anymore and they lean heavy on a friend, slurring apologies..........

βHey,β A groans, head pounding and muscles throbbing. βCan you grab me another blanket?β
B makes their way toward the couch where A is already nestled beneath a throw blanket and the comforter from their bed and presses a hand to their forehead. They wince, sympathetically sucking air in through their teeth.
βi donβt think so, honey,β B says apologetically. their eyes are sad as they push a stray lock of hair from Aβs face. βYouβre even hotter now than you were this morning. I want to take your temperature again, okay?β
A sighs but sits up, the room spinning a bit as they hear B gather supplies from the other room. They return with a damp washcloth, a small pill bottle, and a digital thermometer. They press a hand to Aβs chest, gently ushering them to lean back against the cushions.
Taking Aβs face in their hand, B gently pries their jaw open and slips the thermometer beneath their tongue. βGood job,β they murmur, placing the cloth against Aβs sweaty forehead. They shudder violently, but donβt resist.
βI know, I know,β B reassures them. βI know it feels like youβre freezing, but itβll help.β
A shudders again. The wet cloth is agonizing against their skin and the thermometer in their mouth is making them nauseous. It feels like itβs taking forever to read as the probe slowly heats up beneath Aβs tongue.
Bβs eyes are locked on the numbers as they slowly ascend.
As if on cue, the thermometer sounds in loud, angry trills that pierce through Aβs throbbing skull. Though theyβve closed their eyes, flashes of red still infiltrate their field of vision with every beep.
B takes in a sharp breath as they pull the thermometer from Aβs lips, rapidly feeling their face, neck and chest in succession.
βFuck,β they mutter, tossing the thermometer to the side. A wills their eyes to focus on the reading, and it takes a moment for their body to cooperate, but eventually they see the reading glaring back at them.

βShit,β B curses again, planting a kiss on Aβs boiling temple. βI didnβt know it was this bad.β
Under the blanket, A curled tighter, shaking like a leaf as another chill rattled their body. B brushed sweat-dampened hair from their brow. "It's getting worse, isn't it?" C whispered. B didn't want to say it out loud - they weren't sure they could - but eventually they gave a small nod to C. A's fever showed no sign of breaking; B didn't know what else to do. A soft whimper escaped their chattering teeth "Shhh..." B kept stroking their hair until their breathing steadied, finally drifting off to sleep...

Iβve heard a lot about it but I canβt really distinguish if itβs like, when you first find out you like hurt/comfort part of things, or when you first have a whumpy thought, or just the first time time you get whumperflies,
Could you maybe help me out?

I've always thought about "whump awakening" as when you understand you like hurt/comfort stuff. For example, i consider my whump awakening watching the ending of Tangled (i was nine years old at the time) and afterwards being completely unable to stop thinking about Flynn bleeding on the Tower's floor (i replayed that scene in my head for weeks!!). Only after that i started having whumpy thoughts and getting whumperflies whenever i watched or read anything related to hurt/comfort.

Howdy lol I know it's been a while but if you happen to log on I'd like to offer a little something.
Bullet ant stings. Brilliant, searing, unabating pain that can last for up to an entire day. In addition, you get some lovely symptoms, including uncontrollable trembling and sweating.
What's great about them is they're not really dangerous, so if you're just looking for some pure, unadulterated, all-consuming pain in your whump, bullet ants are pretty good tools.

I had an hyperfixation on ant stings some time ago because they really are *that* fascinating and can give you all the worst symptoms, also nausea and dizziness (my top favourite eheh). and you can do nothing about it because it's not like there's an antidote or something, so you just have to suffer until the pain goes away!
