Give me the rights to the Looney Tunes and I'll make a Looney Tunes Acme Arsenal movie that goes harder than it has any logical right to do so because I think that's funny.
I want Foghorn Leghorn to sacrifice himself so the cast can get the blueprints to the time machine.
I want Porky to hide the fact that he's slowly fading away so he doesn't worry the others and Daffy breaks down when he figures it out, knowing it's too late to save him.
I want Sylvester and Tweety to watch in horror as Granny fades out of existence and they keep ahold of her glasses as it's the only thing left of her.
I want Wile E. Coyote to push himself to his running limits because they have no one else to reach the speeds necessary as the Roadrunner has already been taken out of the picture.
I want Bugs to watch as one by one each of his fellow tunes fade away and by the end of it is just him facing off against Dr. Moron.
Good day, Your Grace! I hope you're doing well! I had a questiin for you, if you don't mind. Whenever you feel stressed or when life becomes simply too overwhelming and even the smallest task seems too heavy to bear, what do you do to feel better? Do you have a way to relax or unwind? Thank you in advance for answering! I send you all my love!🩷
"Hello! Your love is happily received and sent back to you, with kisses! I sing and bake all day long when I'm feeling down. But what most don't know is what fun it can be to speak to the animals about in a soft voice! It makes me feel as though I'm never alone. Sometimes, they even sing with me! I also like to kid around, like I'm still a little girl! Sometimes by mirroring Grumpy's expressions by upsetting my own face. I've even made him laugh once!"
Hi again! If you still amswer asks about the Thoughts, Learning and Intellect Headcanons Ask for Muses, could you please answer the Self Analysis one? Thank you! 🩷
[SELF ANALYSIS] How intelligent does your muse BELIEVE they are, versus how do they actually stack up next to others? What are the personal strengths and weaknesses of their minds and outlooks, compared to those of the people around them?
I know Snow White has great pride in her own manners and she's especially mindful of revering her elders. There's a refreshing lack of hubris in her and, because of this, she never puts on airs or purports to know all the answers- especially around those who have a greater reservoir of experiences to pull from. But, when push comes to shove, she will assume a position of leadership when she has to and acts from an authoritative standpoint. While, at times, she genuinely can be caught off-guard, she is also in the know most of the time if someone is trying to shortchange her or downplay her strength and she can toy with this misimpression to great advantage, almost in the realm of manipulation.
Her core strength is that of an unrelenting optimism and resourcefulness, being willing and able to get along with anyone who crosses her path and love the softest parts of them; her cherry outlook on life and the resilience that brings is one of the greatest fruits of a truly untainted spirit, as well as her heart-melting humor. The fact that she lives as naturally as she does, not in bondage to cynicism or anxiety or burden is something I continually am in awe of. I think in terms of weaknesses, mothers and older women especially can pretty much get away with anything they might set out to do to Snow White. She's completely unguarded around them and is led by a blinding empathy and tenderness to those women, especially, along with children and infants- be they people, birds, or any other creature. She's also more secretive than she'd care to be, to the point where she sometimes seems shy and withdrawn if someone is attempting to access her emotional side, which she was never allowed to fully foster in her developmental years and doesn't really know how to manage and process.
Via and Stolas newborn photos are a good lesson in character design for making things cute.
Reddit post
Baby Via is ADORABLE. Baby Stolas is... not that.
It's funny because their designs are incredibly similar but the differences between them change how cute they are by a mile. And this was probably on purpose. Stolas's was probably ment to look funny or kinda ugly, while Via's was made for maximum cuteness.
I'm only gonna go into their designs. Not the backgrounds but needless to say the backgrounds do make a difference in how the two of them appear
Via is pink. Which is a softer color often associated with cuteness. Stolas on the other hand is an angry red. Possibly because he's upset.
Moving on to that. Baby Via is clearly happy and smiling. A positive emotion like happiness makes things seem nicer and leads to a more positive response (aww). Stolas on the other hand is upset. A negative emotion will lead to a more negative response (Ew).
Vias hands are relaxed and Via seems to be reacing out towards you. She's protrayed as friendly. Stolas's however are clenched because he's upset.
Via's eyes are mostly flat against her head while Stolas's are basically popping out of his head. While more realistic when it comes to baby birds his popping eyes are weirder. Not to mention his eyelids are dark purple. It almost looks like he has two black eyes. Via's are also purple but they're a much softer color. Via also is lacking the markings on her eyes, Stolas isn't and on first glance you might think they were actually open. Bet you can't unsee that now huh?
Speaking of lacking. Via also lacks the extra eyes. But Stolas isn't, his top eyes also look kinda like angry eyebrows which really I'm sure you'll never unsee. Stolas just looks funny with those things there.
Last is the feathers. Vias are all neatly together. They almost look like a tiny mohawk. But Stolas's are scattered about his head. Making him look unkempt.
Via's pic looks like she just got done being cooed over and lovingly swaddled. She was set down to be as comfortable as possible. Stolas looks like he was wrapped as efficiently as possible and photographed as a requirement.
and they’re usually not that brilliant and careful either. 99% of the time the police are just incompetent! Ted Bundy literally jumped out a window and escaped police custody because they weren’t watching him
A victim literally escaped Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment naked with a hole drilled in his head and unable to speak but police let Dahmer take him back to his apartment like everything was ok!
And I guess he doesn’t count as a serial killer but Eric Harris had already been making threats and harrassing students to an extreme degree before Columbine- police literally had a search warrant but they just never acted on it. If they had, they would have found the guns and pipe bombs and the shooting could have been easily prevented. They even tried to cover this up afterwards.
Serial killers and mass murders are usually not that smart, police have just historically refused to do their actual jobs.
always remember that the “genius serial killer” narrative is a blatant cover for the fact that the police will always look the other way when it comes to white cis men exhibiting blatantly violent and hateful behavior
Important to remember that people like Jeffrey dahmer targeted minorities because cops did not care about violence against them. It’s not just cops being incompetent, it’s the systematic violence, racism, classism, transphobia, and homophobia in the police system
LOOK AT WHERE I PAISED ON HELLUVA BOSS
LOOK AT HIM
Saw several people angrily responding to this one & all I can say is she’s 100% right
This 👏🏻 is 👏🏻 propaganda 👏🏻
The push for the infantilization of women to not only be seen as normal, but desired because the world is oh so stressful and hard so just let your man take control of you and your life, is propaganda. Life is being made difficult and hard on purpose. The rise of incel misogyny culture is on purpose. The rise of trad wife infantilization of women is also on purpose. The rise of divinity feminine and masculine, be in your femininity blah blah blah, is also on purpose.
It’s not cute or whimsical. It’s not kink. It’s alt-right propaganda.
You can be whimsical or kinky or have your age regression moments, while also recognizing when you’re witnessing propaganda on your feed and what that propaganda is trying to achieve.
Y'know. Black Griffin notwithstanding. As iconic as Insane is to the Hazbin fandom, after two seasons, can we agree it's actually pretty OOC for Alastor? Like, I know people love that song, but it's well. It's not MY Alastor
i DO believe that a good writer can make mischaracterization work. oh there's a character who doesn't normally cry? figure it out!! disect the character. make the situation cryable for them. make that character cry ugly tears even if it goes against their very nature. YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK!!!
A great piece of advice I've seen is "Don't fixate about what the character would never do. Think about the circumstances that would drive them to do this, even if they wouldn't normally."
Best advice ever!
Me, two glasses of wine in: "yeah so here's an in depth conversation about my identity as a nonbinary person, and my struggles with transphobia in 2023"
Median Center-Right American Dude at the party, also two drinks in: "Damn that's crazy, I never thought of it like that. Man, I'm sorry you gotta deal with this shit."
Me: "Ahh it's alright. I deal."
Random Guy: "People should just chill tf out."
Me: "Damn right"
Random Guy: "So if you're non binary, and, sorry if this is offensive but I don't know the right words here. Like, is it cross dressing for you if you wear a skirt?"
Me: "Its- hm. Huh. I have no idea."
Guy: "It must have been nice to go to school with other trans people. Like, you must've felt safe."
Me: "No actually it was the opposite. It just made me even more upset and confused. I didn't know what being non-binary was. I saw people that transitioned from one gender to the other and knew I wasn't that. It took me a long time to figure this shit out."
Guy: "man that sounds rough. No wonder you guys are upset all this time this sounds painful."
Me: "Well, it sucks until it suddenly doesn't. It sucks and then it rules hard."
Guy: "so It's like working out."
Me: [both of us are now nodding wisely] "it's like working out."
Guy who has only ever played undertale seeing a skeleton for the first time: "holy shit"
The Vees are all some flavor of awful but honestly I kind of want to explain why I personally think Vox is the worst one, even above Velvette and Valentino, so let me get into it.
(Also disclaimer, just because they're awful people doesn't mean they don't have qualities that make them beloved characters to others, I'm just not talking about those qualities because that's not the point of this post. I'm not here to criticize anyone who likes the characters either.)
I'll start with Velvette:
She actually has a lot of similarities to Vox. She, like him, has powers that revolve around mob mentality. And she's really obvious and impulsive about it to be honest, which I think is influenced by the fact that HER way of inducing mob mentality is by way of the internet. She's an influencer persona, she's surrounded by yes-men fans and can just direct them at anyone who disagrees or critisizes her online, so her in-person interactions kind of fall short when she doesn't have that backup.
She literally tried to get all the overlords to stand up and go to war against heaven with essentially NOTHING to bring to the table. All she said was it's POSSIBLE to kill angels, and expected them to immediately follow her lead into trying to fight back. She did absolutely no research into HOW the angel died or if a sinner was the one to even kill them— for all she knew it could have been another angel or even one of Hell's royalty, which is a completely different power class and would have rendered any sinner rebellion she inspired into a suicide mission. This was such an impulsive move by her that completely relied on the other overlords falling into a mob mentality that she's used to recieving online.
She's dangerous in the sense that she can inspire this mob mentality online and could probably actually do SEVERE damage with her influence, but she lacks some things that Vox has that would truly make her an extreme threat in this area. For one, unlike Vox, she can't actually hypnotize people. She has to rely COMPLETELY on her charm and wits to get people to essentially worship her and her opinion. Two, she lacks experience. Vox has been around for decades and knows better about what he needs to say to get people susceptible to his views. Vox literally grew up in a time of extreme propaganda and was one of the people spreading that propaganda on the television. Velvette is an internet celebrity, Vox was a war recruiter.
Seriously, her social skills outside her internet personality are abysmal, and that doesn't help her in getting people to do what she wants. She genuinely Does Not Care how much of a major bitch she comes off as, and while people love that persona online, they certainly don't in person. She couldn't even suck it up to make a fake apology to Carmilla in the name of manipulation, and had to be (condescendingly) forced into it.
I would also go more into her danger as a potioneer, but we actually don't have TOO much info on that as far as I'm aware, like I'm not even sure if Love Potion was developed by Valentino's venom/smoke or if it were her own creation replicating the effect or if Val's smoke is based on her recipe, etc etc, so for now I'm tabling that.
Now, for Valentino:
This man has the subtlety of a fucking brick. He is SO obviously dangerous, and that's what makes him a lesser threat. Because in comparison to the other two Vees, it is MUCH easier to predict Valentino. That isn't to say people don't fall for his BS at all, obviously people do, but Val's thing is that he specifically targets genuinely desperate souls.
Valentino knows how to prey on people who probably know, in some capacity, that they're in deep, deep shit. Anyone who aren't desperate and willing to take any hand that offers are a lot more work in trying to manipulate, so they aren't really in Valentino's purview. That's Velvette and Vox's job.
Now, let's be clear, Valentino is a SUPREMELY shitty person. He's a rapist, he beats the shit out of his souls publicly and without ANY shame or remorse, he is extremely emotionally abusive as seen from the ways he talks to Angel both in person and over the phone, and he is an unapologetically violent and possessive person who was ready to shoot down a guy and his whole family because Angel was flirting with him. The guy (poppet, construct, whatever the fuck he was) didn't even approach Angel to begin with.
So, yeah, Valentino is horrible, lmao. But he's not subtle. He has too much of a temper to really be quiet about how much of a piece of shit he is. He consistently has to be reeled in by Vox because of how bad he is at keeping a clean public image. Like, he fucking LICKED the Princess of Hell's arm as a greeting, and this was before he dropped his "approachable and reasonable" persona in front of her. He is BAD at public relations.
There is enough cracks in Valentino's image that I genuinely believe that without Vox and Velvette serving as his PR management, he would be nowhere near as much of a danger, because he wouldn't be able to fool as many people.
Lastly, we get to Vox:
Vox, as previously stated, is similar to Velvette in that part of his power is his ability to inspire mob mentality. He's also similar to Valentino in that he's a sadistic, violent asshole who was canonically described as someone who gets off on others' pain. What separates him from Velvette is experience, and what separates him from BOTH Val and Vel is self-restraint.
Which, yeah, I know, restraint who?? Are we talking about the same person? Well, yeah, we are. Because the only reason we see Vox loose his absolute cool in canon is because of Alastor. That is Vox's weak point and it was shown VERY explicitly from the first episode he appeared that he is generally the level-headed one who has to sweep up the messes of his partners when he isn't half out of his mind over his object of obsession.
Seriously, even while Valentino was having an epic tantrum, throwing glasses and ripping apart Velvette's models, threatening to wreck his own image by going over to shoot up the hotel Angel's in, Vox stays generally calm and even deescalates Valentino's poorly thought out plans, giving him alternatives to bleed out that aggression.
Up until the point Valentino mentions Alastor, Vox was by FAR the most in-control person in the Vees. It was only after he knew Alastor was back did he go on to embarrass himself on air with a song battle that he lost rather spectacularly. And every one of his mistakes after the fact are quite literally only because Alastor lives rent free in his boxy television head, it's honestly pitiful. I'm dead serious, if Alastor hadn't intervened by allowing himself to be captured by Vox, it is very possible the Vees could have taken Heaven hostage at gunpoint.
When we remove Alastor from the equation, we get a cool and collected business man who's secretly a fucking cult leader that can hypnotize mass amount of people through their digital devices. We get a guy smart enough to portray a squeaky clean image on air, and be a violent sadistic abuser behind closed doors. We get a man who stalks people through cameras all over the damn pentagram, who TELEPORTS THROUGH TECHNOLOGY, who can manipulate people's views and opinions to suit his needs, who can take away your personal autonomy just by looking you in the eyes and make you FORGET it ever happened—
Vox is one SCARY motherfucker. Like for real, at least with Valentino and Velvette you'll KNOW what they're doing to you, or at least know what they could and would do. Vox can take everything he could ever want from you without you ever knowing that he's doing it.
And he would do it. He has absolutely proven that he would 100% use his entire arsenal of abilities and influence to absolutely wreck people. He beat up Angel and made him an unwitting spy, he made the entire population of sinners turn against Sera and Heaven in a deliberate strategy to gain their approval and further his own goals, he straight up hypnotizes people through TV displays to buy his company's products, we saw a whole sequence of Vox convincing some poor girl into signing away EVERYTHING and then discarding her the second he or his partners couldn't squeeze out anything else of value from her.
Vox is an ASSHOLE, and he's the scariest one because he's the best out of the three Vees at pretending to NOT be an asshole, up until it's too late for you to save yourself. And that's why I feel like he's the worst out of the three.
(This, of course, is not even mentioning the fact that's he's racist, extremely patronizing towards his partners, has internalized homophobia that shows in his interactions with Val, and is SUPREMELY entitled. Honestly I like him best when he's suffering and that's because he deserves it.)
(Seriously there's more to mention abt Vox and his attitude towards his partners but this got too long and my brain is getting fuzzy 😭)
Why I Actually Kind of “Get” Stella
Stella is a polarizing figure to say the absolute least. I have thought about her the last few days on a re-watch. In a world where female characterization erasure is already an issue, we get Stella who has been relegated to a literary device to drive the story of Stolas. It’s enough to leave a bad taste in your mouth for some. Despite this, I think it’s the right move. Here’s why.
Part of what steers the story (and let’s be clear, it is NOT Stella’s) is Stolas’ escape from his domesticity while finding a balance that keeps himself in his daughter’s life. Stella is a one-dimensional figure because there needs to be zero confusion: Stolas does not love her. Stella does not love him. There is NO triangle in existence here between Blitz, Stolas and Stella. None. Nada.
She also needs to be one-dimensional and schticky because it drives the contrast between Stolas’ expectations and life under royal rule and the person he wants to be in the world. Ironically, he lacks personal development almost as much as Stella, but he’s the polar opposite of her: he’s inwardly-focused, scholarly, a pacifist and intelligent. Stella is pathologically self-absorbed, ignorant, violent, and dumb as a stump. Her behaviour is rash and boorish, whereas Stolas is refined and thoughtful about his actions.
*********************************
On the note of Stella’s violence against Stolas: I don’t think Stella is overpowering him in any way when she becomes violent. Here’s why:
Stolas is a pacifist. This is part of his characterization in the show AND it’s supported in the actual demonology texts. He’s a guy who likes herbs, gems and stars. He is non-violent and doesn’t see the point of wars. They literally say Stolas is a great “starter demon” to summon because he’s way less likely to murder you for summoning him.
His sole motivation for staying with Stella in the house was to create a sense of normalcy for Octavia. He felt that it was important that she have two parents in the same household– this method of managing this is to absorb Stella’s emotional abuse AND random violence. This is because….
HE CAN TAKE IT. He’s way stronger than he looks or acts like– he just never chooses to act on it. Remember how he was shit-talking through GETTING STABBED by Striker? Or how he beat Andrealphus’ frosty ass with his bare hands? I’m sure Stella packs a wallop, but like, come on… Stolas might get a bruise here or there but for Via? He’ll take it. If he really wanted to stop her from hitting him, don’t you think he’d just use his powers?
Ok back to the show.
*******************************
In some relationships, these sets of traits might be complementary- but not here. What went wrong?
Both parties lacked choice from very early on. They were betrothed quite young.
They are part of a very tight society of rules and expectations.
They don’t stimulate one another intellectually.
They manage their emotions differently.
Her husband wasn’t attracted to her, because he’s almost certainly gay.
Remember–Stella didn’t choose this life either. She is equally as trapped in this marriage, but her focus is on her role in Goetian society, and Stolas’ betrayal (despite it being a loveless union) was founded on her part– he didn’t hurt her personally, but he’s putting her (and Via’s) societal and royal role at risk.
–And she’s right by the way– remember that whole trial that happened when Stolas lost his royal status and powers? STELLA AND VIA COULD HAVE LOST THEIR HOME TOO. Stolas was playing with fire, and they could have just as easily gotten burned.
In a way, she was playing her role perfectly. She was born and bred into a life where the only thing expected of her was to be beautiful, throw parties, be snobby and fabulous, get married to a powerful husband and fire out an egg. She did all of that.
I like to think that she probably came into the marriage with some optimism. She says that for a long time she pretended to be interested in sex with him for the sake of reproduction, but also felt burned that he wasn’t TRYING. Stolas is a really passive guy, but they were paired together to work as a team and she felt like she was the only one making sacrifices on behalf of their shared burden.
I like to think that at first she was doing the best with the tools that she has, despite her natural disposition. I think that she’s self-absorbed, and impatient, but cares deeply for her daughter–who looks almost exactly like her husband. A fun daily reminder of the guy you find repulsive who you are going to be linked with for an eternity through your offspring? Cool.
I like to think that she often looked in the mirror when they were first married and asked herself what it was about herself that wasn’t attractive to Stolas. How did he make her feel? Did she spend hours trying to make herself look beautiful for him just for him to be clearly disgusted by her? Did she cry herself to sleep in those first few years? Did he realize how he made her feel about herself?
The opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s apathy.
Hatred doesn’t spring from a lack of love– I think that Stella’s hatred for Stolas comes from a place where she once hoped love would grow and now feels bitter that she wasn't enough. She makes a point of trying to get a rise out of him and hitting him and torturing him when she sees opportunity because she feels deeply about her circumstances with him and what she didn’t get with her marriage to him– and what he is putting at risk by leaving her and what he's doing with his low-class imp boy toy in public.
I can’t stand by her actions, because they’re undeniably cruel and frankly sinister, but I think attention can be paid to her because nobody wins when you force people to be together like this. Her treatment of her family is a symptomatic of a person who is angry, bored and hurt (if you don't count the cartoonish villainy on her part).
I don’t agree with her, but you know what….I think maybe I see where she's coming from. Even Stella deserves to be understood.
I do think a lot of people don't quite understand how enjoying horror works. Because I've said I have aracnophobia and thalassaphobia, but am playing Resident Evil and Subnautica, and people are like "Then you don't have those phobias because you wouldn't engage with it!" and I'm like. I enjoy being scared in otherwise safe environments that I can totally control. That's kinda the Thing with horror
Yeah, Barbie and Blitzo are definitely twins 😅

I think it sucks that you have to go to so many different kinds of doctor to take care of yourself. It's the 21st century. I should be able to go to a single office where they scan me with a big xerox machine and tell me what I'm allergic to and why my tummy hurts and if I have any cancer or cavities or if my glasses prescription has changed. And then I should get a sticker.
