In which Peter Parker´s best friend, maybe more, is kidnapped by the bad guys.
-
“Hey you“, you said, bumping shoulders with your best friend Peter that was sitting in your school´s cafeteria next to Ned.
A tired chorus of “hi”´s followed as you sat down next to them.
“How are you feeling?”, you asked, looking at Peter carefully. He had come by your house last night, as Spider-Man, after he lost traces of this one group of bad guys that have made themselves quite a name in the last couple of weeks. Robberies, shootings, even explosions.
While Peter gave his best, trying to stop these people as a crime fighting spider, he still hadn’t caught them. And of course, Peter being Peter, he thought that everything that happened was his fault. The only good thing was that, until now, no one had been killed or even seriously hurt.
You had comforted him last night, when he had knocked on your bedroom window with new bruises and tears in his eyes. He had looked downright miserable and your heart had ached for that boy, your best friend whose heart was way too big for his own good.
“I´m fine”, Peter said, picking at his food. Ned gave you `that look` and you knew that he was everything but fine, not that you hadn’t noticed it because of his sad eyes.
“Don’t worry Pete!”, you smiled, squeezing his arm. “You will catch them the next time, I´m sure of it.”
He nodded, even though it didn’t look like he believed that too.
You were walking home from school, when it happened.
You knew that being friends with a super hero, especially an avenger, could possibly put you in danger, hell that was the reason Peter first didn’t tell you until you walked in on him wearing the suit, but you still didn’t think that anything would actually happen to you. Well, you were wrong.
Tires squeaked next to you as a black van slowed at your side. You stopped in your tracks, looking at the car in confusion.
When the door opened and three men jumped out, covered completely in black clothes with ski-masks pulled over their faces, you turned and bolted, screaming for help. You didn’t know who these guys were or what they wanted from you, but one thing was clear: they weren’t nice.
Someone grabbed your waist, pulling you back. You cried out as loud as you could before you suddenly felt a sharp pain at the back of your head and then everything went dark.
When you woke up the first thing you noticed was that your head hurt like a bitch, secondly: you were tied to a chair, your hand behind your back and your feet tied together.
You were in some kind of warehouse and you weren’t alone. About ten men were standing around you, all dressed in the same black clothes, your kidnappers.
“Well look at that, sleeping beauty is awake”, one of them laughed, walking towards her.
You watched him closely, afraid to let him out of your sight.
“What do you want from me?”, you croaked, your mouth dry.
“Oh, honey bunny”, the man taunted, running a dirty hand over your cheek. You flinched.
“Trust me, I would actually love to keep you out of this but one of my men saw you together with Spider-Boy yesterday”, he said, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. “And that boy is seriously getting on my nerves.”
Your eyes went wide. “So you kidnapped me? Why? To be your hostage?”
“Oh, you smart, smart girl, yes! We told Spider-Man that we have his cute, little girlfriend and even I would be quite devastated if he won´t show up.”
“I´m not his girlfriend”, you said, trying to sound brave. “I don’t even really know him, I just met him yesterday.”
Your kidnapper laughed. “Sure thing. My informant told me that you two seemed pretty cosy, all cuddled up at night.”
You blushed and turned away your head. It was true, you two had been quite intimate last night, when you comforted him and he asked you to just hold him. Your heart had felt as if it would jump out of your chest, maybe finally, finally your best friend would realize that you liked him more than that, but all that seemed pretty unimportant when you were kidnapped and the man was pointing a gun at you. Oh god, he had a gun!
“It seems you and Spidey-Boy have some things to talk about and, to be honest, I`m pretty interested if he´s in love with you too”, you wanted to deny it but he kept talking. “But frankly, that can wait until I can leave with the money, so good night, darling.”
Lifting his hand, he slammed the gun into your face, knocking you out.
“Go, go, go! Bring that bastard to me!”
Someone was screaming orders, then the sound of people running away.
You kept your eyes closed, still completely confused with the situation and, oh god, your head was hurting so bad.
“Wakey, wakey, princess!”, the man was shaking her shoulders. “Loverboy is here!”
Your eyes snapped open, `no, Peter can´t come`, you thought. `He would only get hurt´.
“Oh you´re worrying about him? That’s cute”, there was a loud bang at the door and your kidnapper spun around, his hand on his gun.
“It´s over, Carey”, a voice said. Peter.
He appeared in the doorway, all hero-ish with his suit. “You´re the last one standing, everyone else is being arrested by the police as we speak.”
You sighed in relief, classic Peter, saving the day.
Carey laughed angrily. “You really think so?”
You cried out as he pulled at your ponytail, your neck protesting.
“I still have your girlfriend and if you want her to get out of this alive would do as I say.”
You sobbed, pulling at the duct tape you were tied up with.
“Pe-Spider-Man, please”, you corrected yourself, trying to look at your best friend despite the odd angle your neck was being pulled into.
“Just go”, you cried out. Not what Carey was expecting apparently, because he laughed surprised.
“Well would you look at that! She loves you so much, Spidey, she would even die for you.”
Peter froze, stopping from slowly walking towards the two of you.
“Anyway”, the kidnapper shouted, making you flinch.
“You are going to tell the police to give the money we had to leave in the bank and then me and the money will leave this goddamn city unharmed. And if you even try to stop me, your little lady”, he pointed the gun at you and you couldn’t stop the tears from falling down, god, you were so scared, “will die.”
He circled and you, pressing the gun to your head. Looking at Peter, the gun was turned away for only a second. But a second was enough.
“I really hope you´ll do as your told, it would be a-“, before Carey could finish the sentence, Peter grabbed one of the barrels that were standing next to entrance and threw it at your kidnapper.
Carey flew away, slamming against the wall and falling to the ground, unconscious.
You laughed hysterically, while Peter ran towards you, loosing your ties.
“Oh God, Peter”, you sobbed as you stood up, falling into his arms. He caught you easily and held you close.
“I´m so glad you´re safe”, he mumbled in your hair. You nodded breathless.
“I was so terrified when they sent me the text that they had you, I don’t know what I would have done if-“
“It´s alright, Pete, nothing happened, I´m fine, you saved me”, you smiled at him, holding on to his shoulders.
He smiled back, one of the most beautiful sights in the world.
“I love you”, he said suddenly, his eyes growing big after he realized what he said. You laughed softly, touching his cheek.
“I love you too you idiot, I just wished I didn’t have to be kidnapped for you to realize that.”
You both chuckled.
“That’s cute but did you really think it would be this easy”, you heard from behind you.
Carey was laying on the ground, grinning maliciously.
You heard Peter shouting your name and trying to pull you behind him, ´why?´ you thought , when you saw the gun in his hand and then he pulled the trigger.
Everything after that seemed to be in slow motion. Peter knocked Carey out cold, while you just stood there.
Spinning around, Peter looked at you exactly in the moment, you realized the pain in your stomach. Your hands were already pressed against your baby blue shirt and you could see the dark red blood seeping out between your fingers. Oh, Carey had shot you!
You turned your hand around, still looking at the massive amount of blood, when Peter ran to you, pulling of his mask and stopping right in front of you.
“y/n!”, his voice came through. “Y/n, oh God!”
“Peter”, you whispered, just as you felt your legs begin to shake.
Peter caught you, of course he did, and you two slipped to the ground, your body in his lap.
“I´m s sorry, I´m so sorry”, he whispered, still in shock. You could see the tears in his eyes threatening to fall.
“It´s okay, it´s okay”, you repeated like a mantra, one hand holding his cheek, the other one grabbing his wrist while he pressed onto the wound, trying to stop the bleeding.
“I can´t lose you”, he sobbed, “I just got you, I can´t- I can´t lose you now.”
You smiled tiredly. “I love you, Pete, I love you so much.”
Your eyes closed slowly, you were just so tired and you wanted to sleep.
“I love you too, I love-“, you didn’t hear anything after that.
The End.
Just kidding.
You woke up in a hospital, Peter beside you holding your hand.
“Hey”, you whispered. His head shot up and he looked at you excited.
“You´re awake, finally”, he said, pressing his lips to the hand he was holding.
You smiled at him and he squeezed your hand, explaining to you what happened after you passed out. Apparently the police and the medics came into the warehouse only seconds after you lost consciousness and brought you to an hospital immediately.
“I´m so glad you´re okay”, you said afterwards, interwinding your fingers.
“Me? You´re the one that nearly died”, he gasped and you laughed.
“Never do that again”, Peter said, his head coming closer.
“I promise”, you whispered, leaning in to kiss him.
“Oh God”, you two jumped away (well as far as you could while laying in a hospital bed).
“I´m going to be third-wheeling from now on, won´t I?”, Ned groaned, turning around and walking straight out of the room again.
this will probably have a few more parts if anyone is interested

In which y/n is a maid at Cair Paravel and gets closer to the king
-
“Tella and Magda, you two are cleaning the Bathrooms today. Celin, the storage rooms. Bell, you and Garen tidy up the kitchen”, the head house-maid rambled, walking up and down in front of the servants while she gave them tasks.
“Lastly”, she said and you looked up, still haven’t gotten a task. “Y/n, you will clean the king´s bed chambers.”
Your eyes went wide and you heard some of the maids whispering. Normally you would just clean the kitchen or something else, but never the king´s bed chambers! That was always Anders job, for years now.
“Yes, yes, I know, now be quiet!”, Elane said strictly. “Ander is sick and won´t be able to do his job for a few days and Collin will be back soon and replace you.”
“So you”, she looked at you sternly, “will clean the king´s bed chamber today. And everyone! Don’t forget that we are going to have visitors soon, noble lords and ladies will arrive in the next days for the annual spring ball, I want you all to do your best and make this castle as beautiful as possible.”
“Off to work now, go!”
“Oh Aslan, you´re so lucky”, your best friend Dottie whispered and grinned as she walked beside you.
“I have to help in the great hall like nearly anyone else, but you´re going to meet the king!”
You nodded, of course you had already met him, you lived in the same castle after all, but you´ve never actually talked to him or even introduced yourself.
Well of course you haven’t. You were just a maid and he was the King of Narnia, chosen by Aslan himself and a friend of the kings and queens of the old!
“I actually hope, that I´m not going to meet him”, you mumbled, tugging at the sleeve of your old maid uniform.
Dottie gaped at you. “Are you nuts, girl? All the other maids would kill for this chance of being close to the king and you want to avoid him?”
“Dottie”, you said, while you two were walking towards the great hall and the king´s bed chambers. “You know how clumsy I can be, do you really think I should be close to the king? I would probably kill him accidentally and be hanged”, you mumbled the last part.
Your friend laughed and poked your arm. “Well enough of that, I have to be in the great hall in like 2 minutes and if you actually want to avoid the king you should probably tidy up his rooms when he´s gone eating his breakfast in the dining hall, so hurry up!”
You hugged her goodbye and made your way to the king´s quarters.
Dottie was right, you should hurry up so that you could finish his bedroom while he was gone.
Thinking about the king´s time schedule, that all servants have to have memorised, you realized that you still had an hour until the king would probably go back to his chambers to change into his riding gear before going on trip with his guards.
After grabbing clean towels and blankets, y/n walked to the door to his majesty´s bed chamber.
He is off eating breakfast anyway, you thought, not bothering knocking before you opened one of the doors and made your way inside.
Well you were wrong, you were definitely wrong you realized as you looked into the king´s eyes, his riding shirt in his hand, and you tried not to look at his naked chest. He seemed to be in the middle of changing his clothing.
You blushed madly, your hand covering your mouth as you turned around.
“Oh in Aslans name, I am so sorry, your majesty”, you squeaked, gripping the towels and blankets as tight as you could with one hand.
“I am so terribly sorry, I thought you would be in the dining room right now”, quickly leaving the room, you were mentally packing your bags already. Surely, you would be fired for this. Oh Aslan, that meant that you couldn’t send any money to your family anymore!
“It is quite alright, miss”, the king laughed and thus stopped you from worrying any more.
You still didn’t dare to turn around, though. Did that mean you weren’t fired?
“I actually should be in the dining hall right now, but I have an urgent matter to attend too”, he explained, walking closer.
You hesitantly turned to him, bowing your head. “I am so sorry for bursting in, your majesty.”
“Don’t worry, it is alright. Oh, please don’t bow, that makes everything seem so formal”, he said, smiling. You looked up. And blushed again instantly.
You just couldn’t believe it. You were standing in front of the king and he smiled at you, his handsome face all bright and friendly, even though you just walked in on him half naked.
Now he wore his shirt, you realized, trying not to feel to sad about not being able to see his naked chest. Stop it!, you thought. That’s the king you were thinking about!
But he just was so handsome, with his tall and muscular body, his brown hair and those beautiful, kind eyes… Get a grip!
Your eyes snapped to the ground when you realized you had been staring at him. But he didn’t seem to mind, actually he was still looking at you, you noticed, his eyes roaming over your frame, stopping at your face, maybe even your lips?
“I can come back later, your majesty”, you said softly, looking back down.
The king seemed to snap out of a daze and shook his head. “No, no, you can stay. I will be gone soon anyway.” He turned around and picked up his leather amour and you went to do your tasks.
While you were making his bed, the king suddenly spoke again.
“What is your name?”, he asked, sitting down on the chair in front of his desk.
You lifted your eyebrow. He wanted to make some small talk?
“I am y/n, your majesty”, you answered, shaking out his pillows.
“Y/n”, he repeated and you tried not to enjoy the sound of him saying your name too much.
“How long have you worked in the castle now? I can´t say that I remember seeing you”, he smiled apologetically.
You laughed softly, grabbing his blankets to change them. “I am sure the king has more important things to do than learning every face of every servant that works for him.”
He frowned and you froze up. Great job, y/n! First time meeting the king and you´re being mean to him.
“I am sorry, your majesty, I- I didn’t mean it like that”, you said and carefully looked up.
King Caspian shook his head, his soft, brown hair falling into his face. “No, you are right”, you looked at him stunned. You were?
“I should actually take time to know everyone that works for me. What king am I, when I don’t even now the faces of the people that care for me every day?”
You stared at him, the blankets still in your hand.
“I just - “, he started, looking to the ground, “I have the feeling like I lose myself. Every day since the Pevensies left and we came home with the Dawn Treader I have the feeling that I turn more and more into some distant king, even though I always wanted to be better and not like…”, he stopped and you could see his hands shaking. For seeing him daily, you never knew how much he worried.
“Like your uncle”, you finished his sentence. The king nodded softly, his hands tightly gripping the edges of his desk.
“You´re not”, you said firmly, letting go of the blankets and walking towards him.
He lifted his head, watching you with desperation in his eyes and you felt your heart crack. How could someone like him, so beautiful and kind and loved by his friends and kingdom, think that he would someday turn into a monster like Miraz?
“You´re not”, you repeated, kneeling down in front of his sitting form and grabbing one of his shaking arms. You would worry about it later, you thought, how you were just touching the king and how it just felt right, but right now you didn’t even realize it.
“My king, you will never turn into your uncle”, you smiled. “And you know why? Because you love. You love Narnia and every citizen more than Miraz could ever love anyone beside himself. And because you are loved. By every person in this castle, and every person in Narnia, because you are the best king we could have ever wished for after the reign of your uncle.”
Caspian looked at you, his eyes searching for the truth in your eyes.
“Aslan chose you, my king. Because he knew that you would be the best king Narnia has ever seen.”
You smiled, squeezing his hand again before letting ago, instantly missing his warmth.
He was silent, but you felt him watching you while you finished your tasks.
“I am sorry for laying all that on you”, he said softly when you got ready to leave. You just shook your head, smiling at him.
“And thank you, Lady y/n”, you opened the door.
“You´re welcome, your majesty”, bowing slightly, you pulled the door, looking at him one more time before it closed, your eyes catching his.
While you were walking back, with the laundry in your arms, you just couldn’t shake the feeling that you would see the king more often now, after that moment you two just had shared.
Oh Aslan, Dottie would freak out if you told her about that.
Hello, this is a little something i wrote about Caspian and an oc named Elizabeth, i actually thought about making a few more parts of this so tell me what you think about it :)) love, tessa
warnings: just my english, i´m sorry it´s not my first language
-
In which Elizabeth finally finds back to Narnia, and to Caspian.
-
Elizabeth was 6 when her mum left her dad. She didn´t remember much about him. He was mean, never voluntarily spending time with his daughter, or it seemed, with his wife, so when Beatrice left together with their daughter no one was actually surprised.
They tried living on their own after that for a year. A crappy apartment in the middle of nowhere until Beatrice decided she wanted a better life for her daughter.
A few months after Elizabeth turned 7 they moved to their grandmother, Beatrice mother, a mean and strict, old lady that lived in a mansion not very far from the city, with a massive forest in the backyard and no immediate neighbors. That time Elizabeth felt like the most lonely person on the world.
Shortly before her 8th birthday Elizabeth explored the forest, like she often did. That day she found a big group of trees near the lake, with a gait between them. Walking through it, Elizabeth suddenly found herself in the backyard of a small but friendly faun family.
That day Elizabeth found Narnia.
The family brought Elizabeth to their king, a handsome, young man with kind eyes and an even kinder smile. He told her about the magical land she had found and about the other siblings that had come there from her world.
When Elizabeth went back home, she didn’t feel lonely anymore.
She told her mother about Narnia, who smiled and nodded, even when Elizabeth knew she didn´t fully believe her.
After that, Elizabeth visited Narnia nearly daily.
The family brought her to the castle every time, and King Caspian spent all of her visits with her.
He showed her all of Cair Paravel and Narnia, taught her the Narnian history as well as royal duties so that Elizabeth felt more and more like a true Narnian princess, like Queen Lucy the Valiant or High Queen Susan the Gentle.
On special occasions, when Caspian didn’t have any very important duties and Elizabeth just didn’t stop begging, he even taught her some sword fighting and shooting arrows.
When she was 9 she was in Narnia again, sitting next to Caspian at the table, wearing Narnian clothing and picking at her bread. They did that often, just living their daily life together as if they didn’t come from different worlds.
“When will I be queen?”, she asked, tugging at her sleeves, that had become dirty while they had explored the village next to Cair Paravel. “I love Narnia so much but I guess I´m still to young to marry you, aren’t I?”
Caspian coughed and set down his plate.
“You definetly are”, he laughed, smiling at her softly. “Let´s wait for marriage until you´re at least a few heads taller.”
She grinned at him, standing up from the table. “Well then you have to keep training me too, so that when I´m tall enough to marry you I can also kick your butt.”
A few days later, Elizabeth had a visitor at the mansion. The new girl from her class, Katie. She was small, even a head smaller than Elizabeth, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She became Elizabeths only friend.
When she tried showing Narnia to Katie, they walked right through the trees, but stayed in their world. They tried it again and again but it never worked. Katie shrugged her shoulders, “maybe another time it would work and they could have wicked adventures in Narnia”.
But it never did. Not even when Elizabeth came alone.
Years passed and Elizabeth, now called Lizzie, didn’t think about Narnia anymore. It was just some weird game she had played with herself when she was feeling lonely.
She and her mother had moved out, Beatrice had a new and great job and could afford a small house away from her mother. And while Lizzie grew up, with new friends and new hobbies, she just couldn’t shake the feeling of missing something.
“And why exactly did we agree to a Christmas eve dinner with the witch?”, Lizzie grumbed, leaning her head at the car window while they drove to their small town.
“Because she´s still part of our family”, her mother said, then mumbling:” and she´s probably dead soon anyway.”
Lizzie laughed softy, while it did sound evil, their relationship to the woman just hadn’t gotten any better since the stopped living with her. Still strict, mean and controlling, that was Theodora. And no, they weren’t allowed to call the mom or mother or grandma. No, just Theodora.
“It´s not too late, we can still run away and go home and watch Harry Potter”, Lizzie suggested when they were standing in front of Theodoras front door.
“Don’t temp me”, ringing the bell, her mother tugged at her dress. Any imperfection would be critizised by their hostess.
The door opened and Carla, the maid that worked for Lizzies grandmother, greeted them and showed them to the table in the living room.
“You´re late”, Theodora said, her wrinkly eyes cold and her grey hair pulled into a tight bun.
“But I shouldn’t expect any better from you two, now should I?”
Well, this was going to be fun.
“And what are you doing right now again?”, Theodora asked Lizzie, elegantly cutting up a potato.
“I´m still in university to become an elementary school teacher.”
Theodora lifted an eyebrow unimpressed.
“Well, like I already told you, you should definetly focus on a different part of your life, you´re nearly 23 already and you still don’t have a husband or even a boyfriend”, she shook her head disapprovingly.
“At this rate you´re just going to end up like you´re mother. A bad reputation, no husband and a daughter from some idiot that she couldn’t even keep.”
“Mother!”, Beatrice looked at her mother shocked.
“What, you know I´m right. Look at that girl, she´s not nearly as intelligent or pretty as she should be at that age. She´ll probably never find a husband.”
Lizzie dropped her fork. She knew how mean her grandmother could be but this was a new for her. Fighting the tears that welled up she put away her napkin, ignoring her mum that was yelling at Theodora.
“Excuse me, I´m going for a walk”, she whispered shakingly and left the room.
The cold air was biting at her nose but she ignored it, wrapping her coat tighter around her as she waked towards the wood.
The tears had already started falling, but she didn’t bother wiping them away.
How could someone be so mean to their own grandchild? She knew Theodora didn’t like her very much, but she still thought that deep down she cared about her.
“She will never find a husband”, Lizzie repeated angrily. “I don’t have to find a husband right now, you dumb witch”, she said to herself. “I´m 22 for gods sake. I still have plenty of time left!”
She kept walking, away from the lake and towards a group of trees, while she raged about her grandmother.
Stepping through a gait between the trees, Lizzie suddenly looked up.
The sun blinded her and she couldn’t open her eyes, why was the sun suddenly out? It was nearly 8 pm on a winter evening, and why was it suddenly this warm?
She knew this place. She didn’t know why but she remembered this place, a warm sensation bubbling up in her chest.
She blinked slowly, her eyes getting accostumed to the light, and when she opened them the memories came rushing back.
She was standing in the backyard again. The backyard of the faun family.
Lizzie grinned brightly, her heart feeling warm.
“Who are you?”, a voice said. Turning around Lizzie recognized Bandon, the faun boy, standing next to his mother Ariadne.
Getting both of them to believe her took Lizzie nearly an hour. All those years Lizzie hadn’t been in Narnia had only been 2 for them, so it had been kind of a shock for them when she was suddenly an adult.
After a lot of crying and hugging and telling a summary about what happened in all those years, Bandon and Lizzie readied their horses and rode to Cair Paravel.
Lizzie couldn’t stop looking around, the view was nothing new but still, she knew that that was the part she had been missing. It seemed so unrealistic now, that she could have simply forgotten about this place, about these people, and she still didn’t understand why but right now, she was way too happy to be back to worry about it.
A guard greeted them and while Bandon and her were trying to explain what was going on a servant was already ordered to send message to the king.
“I can´t believe I´m back here”, Lizzie laughed, smiling at Bandon as they brought their horses to the stables.
“Elizabeth!”, someone yelled. She recognized the voice instantly, Caspian.
Beaming she turned around. He was running towards her, still tall and handsome, his hair a tad shorter than the last time she´d seen him and, confusingly, only a few years older than her.
He grinned from ear to ear and, as soon as he reached her, engulfed her in a tight hug.
Lizzie laughed softly, hugging him as closely as possible, her eyes filling with tears. God, she had missed that, she had missed him.
“You´re back”, Caspian said, slowly letting her go to look at her properly. She nodded, holding back her tears, she really shouldn’t cry again. That would be the third time today.
“You´re…”, he started, looking her up and down, and again.
“…older?”, she suggested, pushing her hair back. He nodded this time, still shocked.
“I can´t believe it, I- How long has it been? For you, I mean.”
Lizzie lowered her eyes.
“12 years”, she whispered.
She remembered everything now, especially the devastation she felt, when she couldn’t go back to Narnia, but she still felt like it was her fault. Had she done something wrong so that Aslan didn’t want her in Narnia anymore?
“So long? It only been two years here and I still-“, he stopped suddenly, looking at her again intently. “I missed you everyday.”
She nodded, wiping away a tear that had fallen from her eye. “I missed you too”, she whispered, trying not to cry completely. It was a lost cause.
“I missed you so much all those years”, she sobbed and Caspian pulled her to him, his arms tightly around her waist.
“It´s okay, you´re here now”, he said, burying his face too her neck. She nodded, it was true. Now that she was here, everything would be okay.
Guess who's back?? Btw I'm sorry for the format, Tumblr doesn't allow me to make paragraphs anymore?? Idk why but everytime I post it with paragraphs they're suddenly gone 🤷♀️

In which y/n sees Kai in her dreams.
~
“That was a good one!”, y/n laughed.
The young woman was sitting at the table in the kitchen of some house somewhere in Virginia. At least Kai said so.
Said man was sitting in front of her, they were playing some game but he had interrupted it by his corny jokes.
“So what are you up to today?”, y/n asked after her laughter had quieted down.
“Hm, we'll see”, Kai stated, pouring himself a glass of water. “Probably going to watch some TV, steal something from the store down the street. The usual for living alone in a world.”
Y/n sighed, grabbing his hand and squeezing it. “I wish I could be there for you. Be here.” She looked around the room, around this small piece of Kai's prison world she was in.
“Oh, don't you worry! I'm just going to wait till you go to sleep again.”
Y/n chuckled dryly, scratching her fingernail over the table.
“Yes, I know, but I just-”, she stopped abruptly.
Y/n felt the strange pull in her stomach, that weird feeling she still hasn't fully become comfortable with after all these years.
“Is it already time?”, Kai asked, standing up and swiftly walking towards the woman.
Y/n nodded, gripping his arms as her legs grew weak. “I frigging hate this feeling.”
Kai chuckled, holding her waist with one hand.
“See you tomorrow”, he said, gently caressing her cheek with his free hand.
Y/n felt her face grow hot, he was so close to her and he smelled so good and-
“See you tomorrow”, she whispered and then she was gone. Disappearing into thin air.
Y/n groaned annoyed as she stopped the ringing of her alarm. 7 am.
Kicking away her blanket, the young woman pulled the ring on her necklace to the front.
It always fell to the back when she was sleeping.
Turning the ring around in her hand, y/n thought of Kai.
The ring had been his once. All those years ago before he was put into this prison world.
Y/n's grandma had found it in the woods in Portland, where Kai had lost it in the night of his imprisonment.
The ring was her gift from her grandmother at her 14th birthday. And also the reason for her dreams. Or whatever they were. They started a few days after her birthday and just never stopped. At first y/n was scared out of her mind of this strange young man in her dreams, living completely alone in the world and being so incredibly rude too. But after some troubles they really got to know each other and y/n Kai became friends, somehow.
She thought she was crazy when she was younger and she still did, sometimes. But she just couldn't believe that her mind could make up such a realistic person. Y/n never told anyone about her dreams though. Not her family nor her friends, she knew better than to try it, she had watched supernatural movies after all.
Letting the necklace go she stood up, making herself ready for work.
“Elena! How are you?”, y/n exclaimed as she saw the Gilbert sitting in the Grill.
Y/n worked there in the summer to pay off her student loans, just as a few other of her friends.
“I'm fine”, Elena snapped. Wowie, y/n thought, someone was in a bad mood right now.
Elena's gaze softened and she turned to the other young woman. “I'm sorry, y/n. It's just-”
“It's just that Damon and Bonnie are still gone?”, y/n interrupted, she might not be one of Elena's best friends but they got along more than good and so y/n knew about the absence of Elena's boyfriend and her best friend. Even though y/n didn't exactly knew everything.
“Well, Damon's back”, Elena stated. “I'm actually meeting with him here, but Bonnie's still… away.”
The way Elena's said ‘away’ made y/n frown. Bonnie wasn't missing, was she? No, if she really was missing, y/n would know. All of Mystic Falls would know.
“Well I hope she comes home soon”, y/n said, smiling brightly and said goodbye.
On her way to the bar she saw Damon and waved, a small grin forming on his normally frowning face.
After a long day at the Grill and with her friends and studies, y/n was more than happy to change out of her clothes and fall on her bed. Looking at her clock, she saw that it was already 10 pm.
Snuggling into her blankets she clutched her fingers around Kai's ring and fell asleep.
There was the feeling of falling and then suddenly she stood in the same house as last night, the sunlight bathing the dark room in bronze colors.
Turning around, y/n couldn't spot Kai. Hm, normally she would just appear in the same room as him, where was he?
“Kai?”, she shouted, walking into the hall. No answer.
“Malachai? Where are you?”, still no answer.
Without a warning the front door opened, nearly knocking y/n off her feet.
“Hey!”, she cried out taken aback, stepping back a few steps.
“Y/n? What are you already doing here?”, Kai snapped, glancing behind him. What the hell?
“Wow, Kai. I'm happy to see you too”, y/n snarled, putting her hand on her hip and looking at him suspiciously.
“You can't be here right now”, Kai growled, slamming his hand against his head.
Y/n flinched, grabbing his hand and hiding them tightly.
Kai always had the habit of punching his head and everything when something was with her, as if that would make y/n disappear. Because even though they knew each other for years now, Kai still thought that she was just a hallucination, a way of making him feel better in this lonely hell.
“Hey, Kai. Kai!”, she shouted, catching his attention. “You know I hate it when you do that”, she said quietly, her eyes sad. It hurt her so much, when she saw him in pain.
“Kai? Who are you talking too?”, a feminine voice said, standing behind the door. Before y/n could react the woman walked into the hall, looking at Kai and then at her.
Y/n knew the woman. It was-
“Bonnie?”
“Y/n?!“
Gasping y/n sat up in her bed. Fuck, her head hurt. In all these years of having these dreams she never had left them this abruptly, being more like pushed out of them than slowly pulled out.
What the hell happened?
She saw Bonnie and then she suddenly woke up. Oh God, Bonnie! Her shirt had been full of blood and she'd looked like hell. And most importantly she had been in Kai's prison world. Kai had told her that he was there because of murdering his family (with which y/n was still not comfortable with), so what had Bonnie done to get imprisoned there?
Or was she accidentally there?
Glancing at her clock, y/n saw that it was only midnight yet. Not too late to hit up Elena.
Standing in front of the massive Salvatore mansion, y/n snuggled more into her warm jacket and ringed the bell.
She had picked up Elena here a few weeks ago, the two of them wanting to go shopping with Caroline.
Now she was waiting for someone to open up, Elena or one of the Salvatores, she didn't care.
The door opened and y/n saw Damon, looking annoyed at her with an open shirt. Apparently y/n interrupted Elena's and Damon's sexy time.
Y/n smiled shyly. “I'm sorry to disturb you, but I have to talk to Elena.”
The vampire looked at her sceptically.
“It's about Bonnie.”
“So you saw her in your dreams?”, Elena asked slowly.
Y/n nodded slightly, maybe it wasn't the best idea, now they probably did think she was mental.
“And in your dreams you are in a prison world with Kai?”
Y/n nodded again.
“How do you know that psycho-boy?”, Damon looked at her closely.
“Psycho-boy? Do you know him?”, y/n asked surprised, turning to him.
“I was in that prison world with him for months. I only escaped alone because your murder-boyfriend shot Bonnie in the stomach!”, the man spat, his face furious.
Y/n gaped at him. “No, he- he wouldn't do that”, the woman whispered, then cringing.
“Well, he did kill his family, so… “, Elena mumbled and y/n frowned. She was right, though.
“How do we get her out of there?”, Damon asked annoyed.
“Well-”, y/n interrupted Elena. “What do you mean ‘her’? We have to get both of them out of there!”
“Oh no, no, no, no, no”, Damon laughed pouring himself a glass of bourbon.
“We won't help that psycho-murderer get out of there!”
“But-”
“No!”
Y/n frowned deeply.
“Well, I don't know how to get anyone out of there”, y/n snapped, “so I'll get going.”
She stood up, taking her coat from the couch.
“You may not know a way but you can help us with the witchy-woo”, Damon said.
Y/n turned around to the two of them. “Witchy-woo?”, she asked.
“Well yeah, or whatever you witches call your magic.”
“Damon, I don't think-”
“You- you think I'm a witch?”, y/n spluttered.
Damon nodded confused. Elena rubbed her temples.
“I'm not a witch!”, y/n laughed hysterically, “We're not in some kind of fairy tale!”
“Y/n, you have to have realized that these dreams aren't normal”, Elena said in a soft voice. “They're pretty common for witches.”
“I mean, of course I know that it's not normal, but I'm not--I'm not a witch.”
Y/n shook her head vehemently. “If I'm a witch, what are you? Vampires?”
Elena and Damon went silent, looking at each other.
“Oh, you've got to be kidding me”, y/n groaned, having to sit down again. “I'm in a damn Twilight fanfiction.”
It had been a week now since y/n found out about the supernatural world. And her probably being a witch. They couldn't confirm it yet, y/n couldn't actually use her ‘magic’ specifically but Elena and Damon and all the other vampires, y/n had met this week (well she did already know them, she just never knew that they weren't human) were sure that was a witch.
God, it felt so weird, saying that. Her, a witch.
There's also been another weird thing. In this whole week y/n had never dreamed of Kai. Not once. Sleeping, actually sleeping and not spending time with Kai, was strange for her.
It was like he didn't want her there, with him. As if he pushed her away.
Y/n awoke, in the middle of the night again, she had slept, like a normal human being but it felt wrong.
She grabbed the ring, thumbing it around.
“Kai, please, let me in”, she whispered, near tears. She couldn't sleep and not being able to dream of him, to be with him with her visions, she didn't just feel like she couldn't relax she felt like she had lost her best friend.
Crying out, y/n pulled off her necklace, throwing it into her room.
She couldn't sleep that night.
A few weeks later, y/n was walking home from the Salvatores, having spend the whole day trying to find a way to use her powers, as she saw a man standing on her front pouch.
“Can I help you?”, she shouted, pulling her keys out of her jacket.
The man turned around and y/n let go of her keys, clanking down to the ground.
That tall frame, dark hair, these dark intense eyes. Malachai Parker.
Y/n gasped, looking at him shocked.
Kai smiled. “Hello, love.”
The young woman cried out, letting her bag fall to the ground and running towards him.
He laughed deeply as she threw her arms around of him, picking her up. Her legs wrapping around his waist.
Kai sighed, burying his face into her hair.
“Why! Why would you keep me out? I was so worried, I thought- I-”, y/n sobbed, clutching his back.
“I'm sorry, I'm sorry”, Kai mumbled, squeezing her thigh.
She looked at him, into these deep brown eyes. God, they were shining and so full of emotion. Her smooth hands stroked his jaw, up to his hair, pushing some strands back. He was so handsome and he was here.
“I can't believe you're here”, she whispered, fingernails lightly scratching his neck.
He nodded, his nose nearly touching hers.
Suddenly she was more than aware of their closeness, her legs around his middle, their faces only inches apart, his grip on her thigh.
Y/n breathed shallowly, her gaze flicking to his lips, just as his did the same.
Both of them flinched as the sound of a horn echoed from the street.
Y/n coughed slightly, awkwardly getting off of Kai.
The man grumbled something quietly.
“Let's- let's just go in”, y/n mumbled, picking up her stuff and walking to her apartment, making sure not to meet his eyes.
He was hot on her heels, following her into the small apartment y/n was able to afford.
They had spoken about that exact home once in one of her visions, Kai had never listened that closely. He was happy he did, otherwise he wouldn't have found her.
“Home sweet home”, y/n chuckled, shrugging out of her jacket.
She walked into the kitchen, drinking some water.
Kai appeared in the door frame, leaning against it.
“Love”, he started.
“How are you here? Why are you here? Why didn't I have these dreams the last weeks? You once said you're a witch? Are you a witch? Am I a witch? Elena and Damon said so but-”, y/n rambled.
Kai laughed lowly. “Breathe, y/n, breathe.”
Y/n nodded, sitting down.
“I'm going to explain everything later”, the young man said, walking to where y/n was sitting.
“But firstly I have to get some magic.” Right, y/n thought, she remembered that he was a siphoner and now being in the real world again, he could get magic again.
“Right, of course. I don't know how, though.”
Kai kneeled down in front of her, gently grabbing her wrists.
“Let me try something, that way we also find out if you really are a witch.”
Kai watched her closely. Y/n nodded, she trusted him with her life.
His grip on her wrists tightened and a hot feeling shot through them. It traveled up her arms and spread out until her whole body was hot and prickled.
“Kai”, she moaned, her body growing weak.
He stopped abruptly, letting go of her and nearly falling on the floor, his eyes dark with ecstasy.
“Y/n”, he groaned. “Well now we're sure you're a witch.”
“Why?”, she asked, slumped again the chair.
“Because I just took a bit of your magic and you have more magic than any other witch I've ever known.”
“If you want to stay you can take the bed”, y/n said, putting their dinner in the fridge.
They had spent the entire afternoon with talking, catching up with what happened in the last weeks.
Kai nodded thankfully.
“Elena called, they found Bonnie but they don't know where you are.”
Y/n felt bad for lying to Elena but she didn't want the vampires to do anything to Kai.
"Thank you", the siphoner smiled softly. "And I can take the couch if you don't mind."
"OK", the young woman whispered, turning to her bedroom door. "Goodnight, Malachai."
"Goodnight, love."
Y/n was a light sleeper, so when she started to hear mumbling from the living room she was nearly instantly awake.
"Please- I- father, please", a voice groaned loudly. Kai.
Y/n slowly stood up. He had to have a nightmare. He told her about those years ago. Moments of his childhood when his family would punish him for, well, living.
"Kai?", she called out, standing at the door. The young man was laying on her couch, his tall frame nearly to much for the small couch. He was withering under the thin blanket, hands gripping the sheets, his face sweaty and hair clinging to his forehead.
"Let me go- I'm sorry- please don't- father, please, why-", he muttered, feet kicking away the blanket.
"Kai, hey, Kai!", y/n said loudly, sitting down next to him and touching his chest.
"Kai, wake up, Kai!", she shouted, she couldn't see him like that, it hurt.
Gasping, Kai sat up, his chest heaving and his eyes scanning the room disoriented.
"It's okay, it's okay", y/n mumbled like a mantra, hugging him close.
Kai sobbed lowly, gripping her waist and pulling her even closer.
"Oh God", he groaned quietly, his body calming down slowly.
She let him go after he calmed down mostly, still holding his hands.
"Do you wanna talk about it?", y/n asked, watching him closely.
He shook his head, not meeting her eyes.
"Where-", he cleared his throat, "Where is my ring", he was looking at her neck where his ring would normally hang since she was 14.
"Oh that. I- I'm sorry, I took it off when you didn't let me in anymore. I was so angry and worried.", y/n whispered, squeezing his hand.
"I'm sorry that I did that, I only pushed you out for a few days and after that you never appeared anymore. I was worried sick, myself. Ask Bonnie, I was really grumpy the last weeks", he muttered and y/n laughed quietly.
"It's OK", she said, "And I'm sorry for taking off the necklace."
Kai smiled, squeezing her waist.
She was sitting nearly on top of him and when she realized that, she blushed.
"Oh, shit, sorry", she whispered, making a move to stand up again.
Kai shook his head, pulling her back so that she sat in his lap.
She gasped, grabbing his shoulders. Oh God they were so close.
His arm wrapping around her waist, he pulled her even closer, their chests touching.
Y/n's eyes were wide, her cheeks rosy and her hair falling out of her braid.
Kai smiled softly, his hand touching her neck and cheek.
"God, you're so beautiful", he mumbled leaning towards her and before she knew it their lips touched.
Y/n moaned lowly, her hands gripping his shirt. Angling her head, she kissed back, slipping her tongue between his lips.
Kai's grip around her waist tightened, his hand teasing her braid.
His kiss turned more passionate, her hand clawing at his back, his neck.
"Fuck", Kai gasped as he pulled away, his eyes nearly black.
Y/n nodded shakingly, her lips swollen.
"I've waited so long for this", he chuckled, pecking her lips. Y/n grinned heartily, closing the gap again.

“Guys?”, y/n voiced through the nearly empty Grill.
Jo and Kai struggled against their bonds, crying out to the young woman but they and the still unconscious Alaric and tied down Elena and Damon were concealed with magic.
Y/n couldn't see anyone. Except for the one man, standing with his back to her.
“Um, hello?”, y/n called out, looking around for her friends. Or whatever they were.
Jonah turned around, pretending to be surprised to see her. “Oh, hello, y/n! How are you?”
Y/n knew his face. She had seen it on the pictures of the Parker family. Jonah Parker. The man who killed her. And then resurrected her and whatever.
“I know who you are”, y/n spat out. “You're Kai and Jo's father. You're the one who killed me.”
“Yes, of course. But you see it was actually your fault. You just had to throw yourself in front of that monster.”, Jonah said angrily, walking towards the woman.
“And now, now you just had to come back to him.”
“What do you want from me?” Her voice was surprisingly steady.
“And where are my friends?”Jonah chuckled.
“Oh your friends? Come on, y/n. Think about it. Jo told you to come here, Damon tried to kill you. Do you really think they're your friends?”
“They left you, girl. All of them.”
Y/n shook her head. No, that couldn't be true.
“So I give you a chance. Either you leave now and never come back or… I'll make sure you never leave this room again. This time permanently.”
“Why?”, y/n whispered. Why would he want for her to leave so badly?
“You see, my son is a monster, an abomination. And somehow, he loves you. I don't know why, but he does. He doesn't deserve something good in his life. He doesn't deserve you.” Jonah sat down in a chair.
“I thought resurrecting you after he was imprisoned would be fine, he thought you dead and you couldn't remember him. You would have been separated forever.” The old man frowned, his voice turning angry. “But then Kai got out, somehow, at the same time you started to work here. And you know, I can't give him that. Being with you.”
“That's why I put the spell on you, you can't be near him for long without dying. But of course my daughter found a way to get rid of that spell, so now you have the choice”, Jonah looked at y/n closely. “You either leave for good or you die.”
Y/n couldn't think, her head hurt and even though she couldn´t really remember Kai she remembered how safe and normal she felt in Kai's presence and how right it felt to be at his side. Her mind was a mess, thinking about the ultimatum and her friends and Kai.
“I don't have all day, girl!”, Jonah growled.
With a flick of his wrist, y/n flew to him, his hand enclosing around her neck. And suddenly everything came back to her.
“Come here!”, Kai laughed, running after y/n.
The girl screamed giggling, jumping over a tree stump and towards the water.
Still laughing, the young man picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder.
“No, no, no! I'm sorry, Kai!”, y/n shouted, not really meaning it, as he started wading into the water.
“That's what you're getting for making my t-shirt wet!”Kai grinned, jumping underwater with y/n in his arms.
The memory flashed before her eyes. For a millisecond she saw Jonah, holding her neck and looking at her furious, then another memory shot through her head.
“Kai! What are you doing here?”, y/n called out, walking to the man, sitting at the tree in y/n's garden.
“Nothing”, Kai murmured, turning away from her. The last thing he needed was her seeing the big bruise on his arm.
“Oh my God”, y/n gasped. “What happened with your arm?”
Kai cursed inwardly. Of course she noticed.
“Kai, was it your father again?”, she sat down next to him, gripping his hand.
“No, I- I fell down the stairs.”, the young man lied. Well he did fall down the stairs, but because of his father's magic and not as an accident.
“Kai”, she sighed. “You have to go to the police with that.” He shook his head, letting go of her hand.
“No, y/n. It's nothing.” How was he supposed to tell the police that his father abused him with his magic because he was born without it? They would just think he was crazy.
“It's OK, y/n. Don't worry so much”, he laughed lightly, brushing her hair over her shoulder.
“I'll always worry about you.”
Millions of memories flashed before her eyes in the matter of seconds. And then suddenly it stopped. Just as abruptly as it had started.
Y/n gasped as she gained conscience again. Still in the Grill. Still in the grip of Jonah Parker.
“Let me go, you monster”, she snarled, spitting into his face. He flinched, wiping the saliva away.
“Oh, you remember now, don't you?”, Kai's father laughed maniacally. “Right, the touch of the person who did the spell. I should have taken a more difficult spell”, his grip tightens and y/n choked.
“No, I should have never resurrected you.”
Y/n grinned wickedly. “But you did.” Kicking him in the groin, Jonah let her go and she fell to the floor. She stood up and made a run for the door.
“Motus”, Jonah mumbled and the young woman flew through the room, crashing against the wall.
“Well yes, girl, I did. But I can reverse that. And I'm going to do that.”
Coughing y/n tried to stand up, her back aching and, oh God, her head too. Chuckling she looked at Jonah who had started to say something on Latin over a flame, a knife and a dark feather in his hands.
“Which of your spells are you going to reverse”, she giggled sarcastically, leaning her head against her hands. “I lost count.”
Her head hurt so bad, she groaned, the last time her head hurt that bad she was close to- she was close to Kai.
Kai had to be here!
Looking up, y/n spotted Jo's phone laying in a corner. If Jo and the others really left her (what y/n didn't believe, not at all after getting her memories back), Jo would have taken her phone after she lured y/n here. At least Jo and Kai were still here. Somewhere here.
“Oh, all of them, girl. That way you can be near Kai”, Jonah smiled cruel. “When you die. Because you will. Reversing the spells will put you back to how you were before I wasted my magic on you.”
Y/n gaped as Kai's father continued the spell.
No! She couldn't die! Not now. Not when she finally remembered Kai. She couldn't leave him again, couldn't leave the man she loved again.
Crawling over the floor, y/n neared a knife that had fallen from a table. She had to stop him. Gripping the knife she flung it at him, already weakened from the hit and the curse.
It hit Jonah in the thigh, not exactly deep, though. The old man cursed, pulling it out and then continued talking on Latin.
Y/n cried out, something had to stop him! She couldn't die! The young woman screamed in pain, her bones aching and her blood feeling as if it was on fire.
“It's nearly done”, Jonah smiled. Y/n whimpered, her limbs giving in.
Falling to the ground, her body convulsed. It hurt so bad! Make it stop! It had to stop! A scream tore through the room, her scream. She couldn't think straight, make it stop!
Suddenly there was a sickening crunch. Through her tears, y/n saw Jonah.
With the leg of a chair in his chest.
He fell to the floor, blood gushing out of the wound. Behind him stood Kai, looking panicked around the room, trying to find y/n.
“Kai!”, she whimpered, catching his attention. He ran towards her, the rest of the group suddenly appearing behind them.
After Kai was able to break the magic chains he got the others free and now where Jonah was laying on the ground with a hole in his chest, his magic was to weak to hold the cloaking spell.
“Y/n, are you okay?”, he gasped, looking for wounds.
Before she could answer, Jonah chuckled. His chuckling turned into laugh, as he laid there, bleeding out. Not one of his children doing something to help him.
“I've finished it. She's as good as dead”, he grinned maliciously before there was another crunch.
With a swift hand movement Damon snapped his neck.
“God , he was really getting on my nerves.”
Y/n cried out, her body shaking, catching everyone's attention.
Blood seeped through her shirt. Pushing it up, Kai saw the scar his father had left on her years ago. But it had reopened. Completely. It looked the same as the night he killed his family.
Jo ran to them, trying to heal the woman with her magic but nothing helped.
“I'm sorry, I'm so sorry”, Josette sobbed, clutching y/n's hand.
“It's- it's ok- it's ok”, she gasped, her limbs still uselessly flaming around. Blood was seeping not only out of her stomach but also out of her mouth, she couldn't breathe.
Y/n heard Kai scream at Elena and Damon to give them their blood until Jo stopped him, it wouldn't be able to help her anyway. It went silent, only y/n's gasps and groans filling the room as she fought for her life. Kai's tears mixed with her blood as he cried silently, stroking her cheek.
“I love you”, he whispered. Y/n looked at him disoriented, sputtering blood and clawing at the ground as the pain took over her body.
“I should have told you all those years ago.”
His hand was holding her head still, while Jo held her arms, trying to keep her from hurting anyone in her state.
“I love you.” Her convulsing body went still, head falling to the side as Kai cried out, shaking her. He had lost her. Again.
They were all sitting in the Salvatore living room, three days after incident at the Grill and y/n's death.
They had waited for the ambulance to come and had visited her in the morgue.
Kai agreed to the deal soon afterwards. He would leave Mystic Falls forever. After y/n's funeral.
Jo and Kai planned it, being y/n's only friends. It would be on Sunday and Kai made sure that y/n would have loved her funeral.
When they were younger, 18 he remembered, they had talked about their funerals and made a pact that whoever still lived at the others funeral had to hold some awesome, dramatic speech.
Kai wasn't able to do that at her first funeral but he would at this one.
The group had already planned the decorations and the guest, even though the guest only consisted of Kai and Jo, Alaric, Elena and Damon, Caroline and Stefan (who y/n never met) and y/n's roommate and her neighbor.
Telling the last two the news was hard and Jo and Alaric had to do it, Kai locking himself in his apartment right after her death.
“Chocolate or Vanilla?”, Jo asked, planning the cake that would be served at the funeral.
“Did you even know her?”, Kai laughed sadly, flipping to some magazine.
“Chocolate.”, he answered just as Jo's phone ringed.
Picking up, Jo turned around, quietly talking with whoever was on the other line.
“Who was that?”, Kai asked disinterested, throwing the magazine on the table, he didn't really read it anyway.
Wowie, OK. The fifth and final part of love is weakness is finished and will be posted sometime tomorrow. It took way longer than I thought but I like how it turned out and I hope you do too!

“How is she?”, Kai asked worried.
“She's going to be fine. Elena and Damon are looking after her”, Jo explained.
They were meeting in the Grill, not yet knowing how close to y/n Kai was able to be without hurting her.
“Because last time Damon was only nice to her”, Kai grumbled, playing with the knife on the table.
“Now tell me exactly what our father told you.”
“The spell Dad put on her will literally kill her if you get too close to her for too long. Apparently the whole coven helped him. He wanted to make sure that you never get to be with her again, if you ever got out.”
The siphoner growled, clenching his fists. “That bastard.”
Jo nodded softly. Even though she didn't hate their father like Kai did, she was angry at him for that spell. And she never really forgave him for killing y/n.
“How do we destroy the curse?”
The woman shook her head. “I don't know. Dad didn't want to tell me. I think he knows you're back. And I mean, if he needed a whole coven to do the spell, I think we're a bit low on magic.”
Kai chuckled. “Oh sissy, trust me, I have a lot of magic.”
“Not enough.”
“Alright”, Kai stood up to leave. Apparently he had to find a way to reverse the spell himself.
“Kai, there's something else.”
“What now, dearest sister”, he snarled.
“The reason why y/n's still young, the reason why she's even alive.”
Kai looked at her expectantly.
“She isn't. Alive that is. She's actually not alive nor dead. She's a ghost.”
“Let me out of here!”, y/n shouted, slamming against the door.
After her break down in the living room, she gained conscience again in one of the bedrooms, apparently still in the Salvatore mansion. She still didn't know why she suddenly felt like dying a few hours (or maybe it's already been a day, she didn't know) ago, but Elena mumbled about something like a spell, when she brought her food about two hours ago.
They weren't in Harry Potter, dammit. Everything was so weird here. Spells, superspeed (at least with Damon), a man she didn't know but somehow did know. It was like her life turned into a bad twilight fanfiction.
Cursing, y/n tried to open the windows in the room again, failing again. Not like she could jump out of a window five meters above the ground anyway. She was clumsy and she didn't have a death wish.
What was wrong with these people? First they wanted to ‘get to know her’, then they nearly killed her and now they were holding her prisoner. Pouting y/n dropped onto the bed. God, her roommate and her neighbor were surely already worried! And of course, Damon took her phone, before locking the door.
Suddenly the door opened and Jo slipped into the bedroom.
Abruptly y/n sat up, looking at the witch suspiciously.
“You must be confused.”, Jo started, causing y/n to roll her eyes.
“OK, so it's a long story…”
“I'm a what?!”
“I know it must be hard but-”
“No, no, no, no. It was hard believing you, that Elena and Damon are vampires. It was hard, believing you that you're a witch, that your twin brother is one too and is only younger than you by, what, 15 years because he was trapped inside a prison world. It was hard believing you that you know me, that this Kai knows me because I was your friend when I was younger.”, y/n rambled, angrily walking around the room.
“All that was hard! It's impossible to believe you that I was born in the 70s, that- that I was killed by your father, that I'm- that I'm a freaking ghost! That's unbelievable!”
Finishing her monolog, y/n had to sit down, pushing her hair over her shoulder. God, she knew at least parts of Jo's story were true.
While explaining…everything, Jo showed y/n her magic, let Damon and Elena show her their vampire teeth (who disappeared soon afterwards to ‘take care of something’) and also showed y/n pictures. Pictures of y/n and Kai sitting at a table, laughing heartily over a game. Of a young Jo and y/n, sitting in pyjamas on a couch at a sleepover.
And while Jo was talking about their time together, y/n realized that she didn't really have any memories of her childhood or in general her life til two years ago. She knew she was born in Portland, knew how her house looked and her parents but she realized she didn't know why she never visited them, she just never felt like she wanted to.
And now it made sense. If she died 20 years ago, showing up at her parents door now would be kind of difficult to explain. Her whole life was a lie.
“So your father accidentally killed me in the night Kai murdered your family and then resurrected me after he imprisoned him. And then he deleted my memory every few years so that I would never question how I couldn't get older? God, he's such a freak!” Y/n growled.
How did her live turn upside down in, what, 24 hours?
“He wasn't able to resurrect you completely, though. That's not really possible. You're alive but not”, Jo stated, repeating again what she said earlier.
Y/n nodded. “And that's why I don't have to eat or to drink and why I don't have a heart beat and why I never get a cold.”
These were things she also realized. God, now it did make sense why she always felt so different. But she couldn't say that she was happier now knowing all that.
“You said Kai and I were close, and that our relationship was special”, y/n said after a while, looking at the picture of them. Again she got that weird feeling. Looking at the picture felt like home.
Kai felt like home.
“Yes, you and Kai were so unbelievable close. You were the only person he ever loved I think.”, Jo's eyes dropped.
“You should probably rest now. I know it was a lot to take in.” Y/n nodded shakingly, still looking at the picture.
She faintly heard the door open and close. Walking over to her bed, she layed down.
She fell asleep shortly after that, holding onto the polaroid.
A few days later, y/n still lived in the Salvatore mansion.
After explaining everything to her and Kai, Elena, Damon, Jo and Alaric decided that it was best to just let her go.
Y/n stayed with them though, not because she couldn't bear to be without her friends (which she could, considering they had threatened her life) but because they were her best shit at figuring out what to do with her life (and how to stop Jonah Parker to delete her memories again) and how to destroy the curse.
“We're going to meet Kai now at the Grill”, Elena said, walking into the kitchen and taking a blood bag out of the fridge.
That's something that was still weird for y/n.
Y/n nodded, feeling strangely sad about having to stay here. My God, she believed them that Kai and her were really close but he had murdered his family and being near to him would kill her (as she found out 3 days ago) so she shouldn't even want to be near him!
“About the deal to leave the town?”, y/n asked then, sitting down with her lunch.
Elena nodded her head faintly. “About that, but also about the curse and the memory stealing.” She whispered the last part.
Y/n knew that Damon thought it was good that she was cursed. That way they wouldn't ever have to worry about Kai stealing her away and them losing their ‘hostage’.
But even Damon said last night, that Kai didn't even touch anyone since he saw her.
So apparently their deal was working, at least kind of. Kai was still in town (and said to Jo that he won't leave until they knew exactly what was going on with y/n) but he behaved like a normal citizen.
It was already dark outside when Jo called y/n. The ‘ghost’ or whatever she really was, was sitting on the couch, watching Netflix while the others were still talking to Kai.
“What's up?”, y/n asked, muting the TV.
“Y/n! We found a way to to lift the curse!” Y/n sat up excited.
“What? How?”
“It's complicated but we think we can do it! You just have to come here!” Y/n nodded, standing up and getting her jacket.
“You're still at the Grill?”
“Yes! But hurry up we don't have much time!”
“I'll be there in 10!”, y/n said, ending the call. Leaving the house she smiled, everything was going to be right.
Jonah chuckled, throwing away Jo's phone.
It was so easy to transform your own voice into someone else's with little magic.
Jo struggled against the magic chains that tied her to a chair. Alaric laid unconscious on the floor, Elena and Damon next to him with snapped necks.
“Don't you touch her!”, Kai growled, running towards his father in pure rage. “Motus”, Jonah Parker said, making Kai fly into the wall of the Grill, knocking him out.
“Oh, Malachai. I'm only making sure that you will never have her.”
I swear love is weakness was supposed to be a oneshot... I probably have to write two more chapters (at least) to cover the whole story sooo... Sorry, my bad
OK wow guys, I'm in the flow rn so here's part 3... this time on the right account 😅
PS.: English's still not my first language
~
In which y/n gets hurt.
~
“What did you do to her?”, Kai growled his hand banging against the magical barrier.
“Tell me!”
Y/n flinched. What was going on with that guy? She didn't even know him.
“Calm down, Kai. We didn't do anything to her”, Alaric said, turning to the confused woman begin him.
“We found her like this”, Jo finally looked at her brother. His face looked positively furious.
“Bullshit”, he growled, than his face softened as he saw y/n's confused and slightly scared look.
“Y/n, love, what did they do to you”, he whispered, not actually thinking she would answer him. She didn't.
Who was this guy? And why did he know her name? And why did he feel so familiar to her?
He was a completely stranger but y/n just wanted to run into his arms.
“OK, sorry to interrupt the reunion.” Damon started. “What do you want Kai?”
Kai chuckled. “You are the one with a hostage and still you ask me what I want.”
“No, seriously, demon-boy. You're out of your prison world, you got to kill your little brother and you have your own magic now. What more do you want?”
“I want revenge, Damon.” Kai growled. “For keeping me locked up as a child. For making me feel like I am the monster in the family. For betraying me. For killing her.”
He watched y/n closely while saying the last part. She had to remember that.
Y/n looked around confused. “Wait, do you mean me? ‘Cause I don't wanna burst your bubble, but I'm alive”, she chuckled nervously.
“OK, I'm done”, Damon snapped, turning to y/n. “Sorry, darling.”
The next second she was standing centimeters in front of the door, and Kai, Damon behind her, with his hand around her neck. She gasped.
“Damon, no!”, Jo and Elena cried out, stepping forward but not stopping the vampire.
“So, Malachai, you have five seconds to leave this town without killing any more innocent people and leaving Jo and Alaric alone for the rest of their lives or I kill your precious, little y/n.”
“Damon!”, Jo whispered shocked.
Y/n gasped for air, as Damon's grip tightens, blocking her airways a bit, her own hand clawing at his forearm.
“Oh God, Damon please!”, she gasped, looking at Kai, him being the only person she could see.
“5…”, Damon started.
Y/n whimpered and sank her fingernails into Damon's arm as his grip didn't allow her to breath anymore.
Either Damon didn't actually know how long seconds were or he just didn't care, his ‘seconds’ were more like half a minutes.
“4…” Kai punched the barrier repeatedly, cursing Damon's existence.
“3…” Tears rolled over y/n's cheeks, her vision fading. She's never been good at holding her breath.
In the corner of her eye, she saw Damon putting his other hand to the side of her head. He didn't want to strangle her. He wanted to snap her neck.
Y/n cried out, one hand still clawing at Damon hand, with the other one trying to grab Kai's hand, that was still against the magical barrier. Only a few millimeters.
“2…”
“Please, Kai”, y/n whimpered, locking her gaze with Kai's. His eyes were shining with rage and pain.
“Please.”, her eyes closed.
“OK, dammit!”, Kai shouted, slamming his hand down. “I'll do it!”
The next second Damon's grip was gone and y/n fell to the floor, gasping for air.
Rolling onto her side, she heard Kai scream something, then there was only darkness.
“Let me in! Y/n! Let me go to her!”
Y/n woke up on couch in the living room of the Salvatore mansion. She groaned and held her head. God, why did she have this mean headache?
“Just let me leave with her!”
“Oh no no no, do you think we're that stupid?”, Damon laughed sarcastically behind her.
Turning around she saw Elena and Alaric on the other couch, Damon standing in the middle of the room in front of- in front of Kai, tied to a chair, holding a knife in one hand.
“What the hell is going on?”, y/n exclaimed, shooting up.
“You guys really have to tell me what's going on! Who is that?”, she pointed at the tied up Kai. “Why did Damon tried to kill me? And why does he look like he knows me? And- oh God”, y/n muttered, leaning against the table, when her head suddenly felt like it was going to explode.
Stumbling, because her whole body felt like it was going to fall apart, she tried to reach the door, wanting to just leave these crazy people.
Y/n saw Jo standing in the hall, talking with someone on the phone while making wild hand gestures.
“Oh God”, y/n groaned, catching Jo's attention. Her knees buckled and she fell to the floor.
Suddenly there was a loud clang, as Kai used his magic to break free of his chains and rushing to her.
“What did you do?”, Kai shouted, pulling her onto his lap.
“Nothing!”, Elena answered shocked.
It was true, no one knew what was happening to the woman right now.
Y/n coughed, a small trickle of blood leaving her mouth.
“Oh God”, Jo gasped letting her phone fall to the floor.
“What- what is-”, y/n mumbled looking panicked into Kai's eyes. These eyes, these blue eyes. She knew them, even though she didn't.
“Kai, get away from her!”, Jo cried out, running to them.
The man shook his head, his hand pushing a strand of hair from y/n burning forehead.
“No! Kai! You're killing her!”, Jo tried to pull Kai away who just looked at her confused.
“What is she talking about?”, Damon mumbled.
“It's Dad! He put a spell on her! Being close to you is killing her!”, Jo shouted.
“You're killing her!”

OK so it's way shorter than the other parts so sorry 🙏🏿
Jesus guys, I was so touched by all the feedback so here’s part 2 (I definitely hadn’t started with the second part before posting the first one, not at all)
There’s probably going to be a part 3, but I have to study, so we’re going to see how that works out!
Like last time: English isn’t my first language and I haven’t written in a long time so please have mercy and feedback is always welcome!! 💕

“Hey y/n!”, Elena shouted, running up to the new nurse.
“Oh, hi Elena”, confused y/n looked at the Gilbert. She only worked at the hospital in Mystic Fall since last week and she didn’t know that Elena even knew her name.
“I’m sorry, I know it’s a bit sudden but I thought we could maybe get to know each other a bit. I mean we’re going to work on the same floor for quite a while”, the vampire laughed nervously.
Y/n nodded still a bit confused, looking through some files.
Elena gave a quick look to Jo, who was standing a few meters away at the reception.
The woman nodded shocked, pressing a hand over mouth before looking at Elena and mouthing ‘it’s her’.
“So since when are you working here?”, y/n asked politely, walking over to the cafeteria.
“Ehm, actually not that long, I think a few months now.”
Settling down in the seat on the other side of the table she watched the nurse sceptically. That was the woman Kai Parker loved?
And how the hell was she alive? Alive and approximately 21 years old?
“Where did you grow up?”
“I grew up in Portland in Oregon. My parents still live there but we don’t really talk anymore.”, y/n answered, biting into her sandwich.
“Oh… So you don’t visit there anymore? No friends or boyfriend there?”
Y/n shook her head. “No, I didn’t have much friends in my childhood and definitely no boyfriend.“, she ended chuckling.
“No dramatic moments in your childhood?”
“No…?”, y/n looked at Elena confused. That was a weird icebreaker.
“I mean there was traumatic experience when I was a bit younger”, she started, Elena leaning interested towards her.
“I had a date with some guy from our high school and when he drove me back to my house he accidentally crashed into a tree. He didn’t get hurt but I actually got a pretty reminder of that day” she laughed, pushing up her uniform to reveal a nasty scar over her stomach.
“Oh boy”, Elena said, not because of her story, but that scar fitted perfectly into Jo’s story.
“Hey”, Jo appeared behind y/n. Looking at the girl as if she’d seen a ghost. Which she basically had.
“Hey!”, y/n smiled, putting her bag from the seat beside her to invite Jo to sit down.
“I’m y/n”, she held her hand out, Jo shaking it still in shock.
“OK, I have to go now! My break is going to end in a few minutes and I still have to go to the bathroom”, y/n stood up, packing away her snacks.
“Oh wait! I’m supposed to make photos of the workers here for our website! “, Elena said, pulling out her smartphone.
“You want to take a picture with us?”
A few days later y/n was invited to the Salvatore Mansion for a barbecue party. Though her awkward conversation with Elena and Jo made her cringe every time she thought about it, they still were the only people she knew in this new town yet.
Of course she instantly befriended with her neighbor when she moved here but y/n had to say that she rather spent an evening with a few new guys her age than with the slightly crazy 80 year old woman the next house over.
The loud ringing of the doorbell broke the silence in the Salvatore mansion.
Elena’s head bobbed up from slicing a salad.
“That must be her.”
Putting a blood bag into the fridge, Damon pulled out his phone.
“I’m going to send Kai the picture when she’s in the house.”
Jo nodded walking to the front door and opening it.
“Hey y/n!”, she beamed, still feeling a bit uncomfortable to pretend to not know her nearly-bestfriend.
Y/n smiled, greeting her.
Walking into the kitchen, the two women talked lightly about work when Damon appeared in front of them, placing his phone back into his pocket.
“Well hello there! You must be y/n!”, Damon grinned devilish, looking at the woman closely. She had to be supernatural somehow, otherwise she wouldn’t be so young now, being born in the 70s.
“I’m Damon. You probably already heard from me, I’m Elena’s dashing boyfriend.”
Y/n chuckled, clearly amused by the man.
“Yes, Elena already told me about you. She practically couldn’t stop talking”, the girl laughed. “And you must be Alaric, Jo’s dashing fiancé.”
Alaric smiled, shaking y/n’s outstretched hand.
“OK guys, I’m hungry so let’s eat!”, Damon said loudly, slightly pushing the group towards the table.
“I sent the photo.”, he whispered to Alaric and Elena, while Jo was talking to y/n.
“So y/n”, Damon started, sitting down and filling his plate. “Any crazy ex-boyfriends of yours?”
“Damon!”, Elena snapped, looking at him angrily. “I’m sorry y/n. He doesn’t have a filter.”
The woman laughed. “That’s a weird question, Damon. But no, not really.”
“Let’s start with dinner!”, Jo said enthusiastically, trying to change the topic.
A few minutes into the dinner, everyone was chatting freely when suddenly the doorbell rang.
“Oh!”, y/n exclaimed. “Did you invite anyone else?”
The group exchanged distressed looks. That should be Kai. Shit’s about to get down.
“Really guys? I’m actually pretty impressed! How did you guys bewitched that picture without Bon-Bon?”, Kai laughed, leaning against the doorframe of the front door as Damon opened it.
Jo and Alaric stood behind him, watching closely while Elena and y/n stayed in the kitchen, supposedly just waiting for the other guys to get the ‘strange neighbor’ to leave.
“It’s not ‘bewitched’”, Damon snared.
Kai chuckled. “Sure. So the girl just came back to life.”
Eventhough he said it in a light and amused tone, Jo could see the pain he tried so hard to hide in his eyes.
“She’s alive, Kai.”, Jo said, looking at the ground.
“Not for long if you don’t leave this town.”, Damon said coldly.
Kai’s expression turned furious. He still didn’t believe them that y/n, his y/n, was still alive, but still, threatening her pushed him over his limit.
“Y/n is dead! And if you thought that threatening her would change anything, you’re even more stupid than I thought”, he laughed grimly.
Moving her hand, Jo opened the door to the kitchen a little bit with her magic, revealing y/n sitting at the table, talking to Elena.
Kai’s eyes widened when he saw her sitting there. His y/n was sitting there, still looking like the last time he saw her, when she was dying in his arms. But how was this possible?
Her dark hair was still shoulder length, even though she always wanted to grew them out, her green eyes shone, like the time she beat him at Mario Kart after trying for months.
God, how was she here?
“So, Kai. Are you up for a deal?”, Damon broke Kai out of his trance, snapping his eyes back to the vampire.
“That’s some kind of your hallucinations Jo, isn’t it Jo?”, Kai snared, looking at his twin with deep rage.
“Have you sunk this low, Josette? Bringing y/n into this?”
Jo shook her head, still not able to watch him.
“Have you?”, he snapped, slapping his hand against the magical barrier, keeping him out of the house.
“What’s going on?”, y/n asked shyly, walking into the hall.
Kai couldn’t breath.
“Y/n.”, he gasped, his hand laying on the barrier. Oh God, Kai thought his heart was going to burst. She looked so beautiful. This woman was the only person ever being able to let him feel something.
there probably will be a part 3 (obviously) but I’m not sure when I’m going to write it (either today or like in weeks 😅)
Like last time: English isn’t my first language and it’s the first time I write for Kai (and in general) so please have mercy ❤️

feedback is always welcome!! And please write if you want a next part!
OK this is just a little something I thought of while being on a holiday. Not requested or anything.
Two things first:
1. English isn't my first language so please have mercy
2. I've never written about Kai ever before soooo sorry 🙏🏿

In which Kai had a weakness and lost it... or did he?
~
"This demon-boy is getting on my damn nerves!", Damon spit out while pouring himself a glass of bourbon.
Elena and Alaric nodded in agreement.
"Is there a way, any way", Elena turned to Jo, sitting on the couch in the Salvatore mansion. "to get any kind of control over him?"
Jo shrugged.
"My brother has lost any kind of humanity he once had, I don't think he can be controlled by anything or anyone."
"He has to have some kind of weakness! Everyone does!", even Damon got desperate now and leaned against the wall.
Jo was silent for a little while before she perked up.
"There was y/n."
"Who the hell is y/n", Elena asked.
"Y/n was our neighbor. She was the same age as Kai and me and we always disguised her as my best friend so that she and Kai could hang out. I remember that she once came over to our once, completely soaked and-"
"Jo, get to the point!"
Jo looked at Damon annoyed.
"Okay. Y/n was Kai's best friend, maybe even more, I think both of them loved the other one but they never told each other. She was staying over when Kai snapped and went on his murder spree. He saw her but it was like he couldn't hurt her at all, so he didn't. She was the only one not getting at least stabbed by him."
Damon, Alaric and Elena looked at each other.
"So if anyone's his weakness, it's her?", Damon asked, setting down his glass.
Jo nodded but then frowned.
"So let's get her and-"
"Damon, that's impossible.", Jo interrupted.
"Why? What's the problem now?"
"She's dead. She died that night trying to save Kai from our father."
"Wake up y/n! Wake up!"
Jo was grasping the teenage girls shoulders, shaking her to wake her up.
"What- What's going on?"
"Kai, he's-", Jo was interrupted by a loud scream from downstairs, causing y/n to flinch.
Panicking the brunette looked at Jo.
"He's, he snapped. He's killing them. Kai is killing them."
Y/n eyes widened. Then she frowned.
"Oh OK, wow, hahaha, what a funny joke you and Kai planned."
The girl pushed a strand of hair angrily behind her ear.
"Very funny, guys!"
Another scream came from downstairs. Nearer this time.
Y/n turned to Jo.
"I know it's a prank, Jo. Tell Kai to stop! If the screaming wakes up your parents you both will be in so much trouble."
"Y/n, it's no- it's not a joke", Jo whispered, pulling y/n away from the closed door.
"Wha-"
"Kai? What are you-" the girls heard from the staircase. It was one of Jo's and Kai's younger brother though y/n couldn't figure out who exactly it was when he suddenly started screaming in pain and then... silence.
Y/n pulled Jo to the wardrobe in her room, stepping into it and shutting it mostly behind them. From where they were crouching between Jo's sweaters and jackets, the girls could see the door.
Y/n couldn't and wouldn't believe Jo. That Kai, her best friend and the most, well troubled, but also most caring person she knew, was murdering his family? It was impossible.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are!", came Kai's voice. Definitely Kai. But how??
The boy stopped in front of their door. Jo and y/n held their breaths, their sweaty hand gripping the other.
A few seconds later Kai kept walking down the hall.
Y/n breathed in deep, letting Jo go and settling against the back of the wardrobe. What was going on?
Suddenly Jo stood up and opened the wardrobe door.
"What are you doing?", y/n hissed, grabbing the other girls arm.
"I have to get the twins. They are on the other end of the hall, I think Kai went in the other direction."
Another scream echoed through the house.
"Jo,you can't! I don't know what's happening but you can't go out there!"
"I have to OK?" Jo looked at her in distress.
Y/n straightened her back and pushed her hair back.
"OK, then we're going together."
Before Jo could say something, y/n walked to the door and opened it as slowly as possible.
Looking down the hall she could see the moon shining through a window, illuminating the doors of the Parkers. And the bloodstains.
Y/n shuddered and slipped through the gap, focusing on being quiet.
Together the girls tip-toed down the hall, to the room of the twins.
Only half a meter and they would be at the door, when they suddenly heard a voice.
"Well, well, well. Who do we have here?" Kai smirked, pulling an axe behind him. His smirk fell when he saw y/n.
"What- what are you doing here?"
As fast as possible y/n opened the door of the room of the twins, pushed Jo in it and closed it again, leaning against it to block it from Kai.
"Y/n! What are you still doing here?", the boy asked angrily, walking to her.
"I- I slept over spontaneously, I thought you knew."
He was right, nor she or Jo told him, that she had decided to sleep over last minute. But why was that so important?
"Y/n.", Kai whispered, softly stroking her cheek. She shuddered, feeling the dried blood on his hands. For the first time in her life she was afraid of him.
"Please, Kai." Y/n didn't even know what she was begging for.
Kai pulled his hand back and his blue eyes got cold again.
"Get away from the door."
His voice was hard, harder than she had ever heard it.
Y/n shook her head.
The boy growled and stepped closer, causing y/n to flinch.
His hard gaze softened and showed a hurt impression.
"Y/n, please."
The girl sobbed and looked at Kai. How could he do this to her? To his family in general? She knew about his father's abuse on him (and had tried repeatedly to go to the police because of it) but killing his entire family did seem pretty harsh.
"Don't do this Kai, please. Please Kai...", she sobbed.
Kai carefully touched her cheek, leaning his head against hers and brushing tears away with his thumb.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry", he mumbled inbetween her sobs, stroking her hair.
With a swift spell the girl went limp in his arms. The magic he siphoned out of his last sibling worked well enough.
Holding onto her waist he picked her up, walking down the stairs and laying her down on the Hollywood swing on his family's varanda.
Looking at her once more he turned around, going back into the house.
He still had some family members to mess with.
Kai smirked.
Y/n groaned groggily as she woke up.
Why the hell was she unconscious anyway? The last thing she remembered was holding onto Kai and sobbing because of- because he was murdering his family.
Y/n gasped and looked around. She was laying on the veranda of the Parkers house. How the hell did she get there?
"You're an abomination, Malachai!"
The girl turned around, that was Kai's father.
Looking to the small forest next to the house she could make out two shadows standing in the moonlight.
Kai and Jonah.
"That must be a bad feeling" Kai taunted as Y/n stepped closer in the shadows of the house. "Creating a monster and that monster turning against you."
Y/n was near enough now to see both men clearly, hiding behind a tree beside them.
"I didn't make you to a monster. You were one the moment your mother gave birth to you!" Jonah was shouting now, his face red.
Kai gave him a loopsided smirk, turning away from him. Obviously done with the bullshit his father said.
The girl could see Kai's father chanting something. A long tree branch started floating and y/n couldn't believe her eyes. What was happening?
The branch turned, targeting Kai's back.
"No!", y/n screamed, running forward the same moment the branch flew at the boy.
Kai turned around, looking at her with a shocked impression.
The next thing y/n knew she stood in front of Kai, looking into his blue eyes.
"Kai", she whispered and then slowly dragged her stare down to her stomach, where she felt a dull ache.
The branch Kai's father wanted to impale his son with was sticking out of her stomach.
"Kai", her legs gave in and she toppled to the ground, the siphoner catching her and pulling her in his arms between his legs.
He was leaning against a tree, y/n's back against his front. His father nowhere to be seen. That coward.
"Hey, hey, hey", Kai said, shaking her shoulders to get her attention.
"You're going to be fine, everything's going to be fine", he mumbled carefully grabbing the tree branch.
"I have to pull it out and then I can heal you.”
“Kai”, y/n pressed out. ”Did you even listen to anything in the first aid course? It has to stay in. And what to you mean with you healing me, you aren't--you aren't Jesus.”
Kai chuckled lowly and shook his head.
“I'm going to explain everything later, just--just listen to me.”
Y/n nodded and held down a scream as he pulled the rest of the branch out of her stomach.
“OK, OK, OK” Kai pressed his hand on the wound and started chanting something.
The girl whimpered and gripped his arm.
“Whatever you're doing I don't think it's working.”
Kai frowned and started again. And again.
“Dammit!”, he screamed, punching the ground.
Y/m flinched and gasped in pain from the movement, screwing her eyes shut.
“No, no, no!”
“Kai, stop. Kai!”, y/n gritted out, turning his face to her, his look was a mix of panic, hurt and pure rage.
“Kai, it's OK.”
He shook his head, wiping away a tear that rolled down his cheek.
“I can- I have to get help”, he was trying to stand up but she stopped him.
The wound was deep and considering the amount of blood she knew and saw she had lost she and Kai knew that there was no hope. Kai seemed to understand and settled back down, pulling her even closer to him.
There was a short time of complete silence, only their shaking breaths.
“I'm sorry”, he suddenly sobbed.
In the 4 years of knowing him, y/n had never seen Malachai Parker cry.
Shocked she turned to look at him, trying to move as little as possible.
“It's OK, Kai”, she whispered, limbs already feeling cold and numb.
Kai shook his head burying his face in her neck.
“No, no, it's all my fault, it's- he's- he was right. I am a monster.”
“No, Kai”, y/n mustered all her strength and gripped his hand, pulling him to look in her eyes.
His eyes were puffy and full of tears.
“You're not a monster. I don't care what your father always told you. You are Malachai Parker. You're a man and the best one of them. You're not-”, she coughed, blood dripping from her lips.
“You're just Kai. You're not a monster nor will you- will you ever be.” Y/n closed her eyes, suddenly feeling oh so tired.
“Hey hey hey”, Kai squeezed her hand, gently stroking her cheek.
“Hey, y/n. Stay- stay with me, OK? You gotta--you just gotta hold on, alright?” Kai was sobbing now, tears streaming freely down his cheeks as he watched the woman he loved slowly die.
“Kai, I- I love-”, she choked out, her grip on his hand growing limb.
“No, no, no”, he mumbled as he watched her breath out, her hand falling on the ground and her eyes growing lifeless.
“No!”, he screamed, gripping her shoulders and shaking her.
“No! No! Y/n! Stay with me! You have to- you can't- don't leave me”, he sobbed leaning his head against her chest where he would normally hear her heart beating. Not anymore. Never again.
“Come back to me. Come back to me .”
“So he only ever loved one person and that was that y/n girl?”, Damon asked, plopping down onto the couch.
Jo nodded, standing up.
“Wait!”
Jo turned back to Elena who looked at her confused.
“What was her name again?”
“Y/n y/l/n. Why?” By now everyone was looking at the Gilbert.
“Because there's a new nurse at our hospital. And that's her name.”

Marauders Appreciation Week [1/7] - One Order Member
The school greeted Minerva McGonagall’s return with delight. Minerva threw herself into her work, proving herself a strict but inspirational teacher…. The death of Dougal McGregor, however, although traumatic, seemed to free Minerva. Shortly after Voldemort’s first defeat, Elphinstone, now white-haired, proposed again during a summertime stroll around the lake in the Hogwarts grounds. This time Minerva accepted. The marriage (cut tragically short, though it was destined to be) was a very happy one. The accidental death of Elphinstone from a Venomous Tentacula bite, three years into their marriage, was an enormous sorrow to all who knew the couple. Minerva could not bear to remain alone in their cottage, but packed her things after Elphinstone’s funeral and returned to her sparse stone-floored bedroom in Hogwarts Castle. Always a very brave and private person, she poured all her energy into her work, and few people - excepting perhaps Albus Dumbledore - ever realised how much she suffered. [x]
Sirius: “Ok, all right. We want to hear everything. Peter, get the Butterbeer and lock the door, so nobody can disturb us. James, does this end well or do we need to get tissues?”
James: “Oh, it ended very well”
Remus: [running in the door] “Do not start without me! Do not start without me!”
Sirius: “Ok, all right, let’s hear about the kiss. Was it like, was it like a soft brush against your lips? Or was it like a, you know, a “I gotta have you now” kind of thing?”
James: “Well, at first it was really intense, you know. And then we just sort of sunk into it”
Remus: “Ok, so, ok, were you holding her or were your hands like on her back?”
James: “No, actually first I had them on her waist. And then, they slid up, and then, they were in her hair”
