I hope “shade of my heart” replaces “my sun and stars” as a way to refer to your lover in pop culture.

Because I like GOT’s “sun and stars” - it’s like your lover brings light into your life and that’s really sweet.

…But I like WoT’s “shade of my heart” even more because, for the Aiel, shade is something to seek comfort in, something that allows them a moment of reprieve from their harsh world. It’s what they wish upon other people in parting. The phrase implies that their lovers are people they can take a similar comfort in and idk I just think that’s neat
