What Monster Hunter: Wilds Weapons Would the ROTTMNT Cast Use?

Aka the list no one asked for but the brainrot demanded. (This is literally the most niche thing ever. If you don't know what MH is it's a game)

Raph

Hammer: this one speaks for itself. Raph would bash the shit out of monsters with this thing. He would be the one who forgets to put the bombs down when the monster goes to sleep and just wails at the poor thing.

Sword & Shield: this one needs more explaining. In the series, he uses tonfa and sais, which are more defensive/not as powerful offensive-wise. There are only a few of the more defensive weapons to choose from and I don't see Raph using a lance. As good as the pokey-poke is, Raph would probably use something simpler like the S&S, which is why I chose it. (Also it is very funny to imagine Raph holding a tiny little S&S)

Leo

(Leo would be out here playing Fashion Hunter instead, he would have all the layered armour)

Long Sword: again this one speaks for itself. And the vibes that Leo has, he just seems like a cocky LS user. This just makes sense as the obvious choice for Leo. (My partner is a LS user and they have similar vibes to Leo sometimes)

Bow: this makes more sense in my head than it does on paper. But I can just see Leo flitting around and shooting at things with a bow. It just kind of makes sense in my head. He would make quips while bowing down monsters.

Donnie

(I would have said Hunting Horn but this guy is way too chaotic for only being support)

Light Bow Gun: he would like the mobility it gives with only a bit of sacrifice on the damage end of things. Donnie likes blowing things up, he would go crazy with Wyvern blasts and bombs.

Great Sword: Donnie's pragmatic he would go for one of the high-damage weapons. That's just how this would work. Great damage and he would be able to sever the monster's tails with ease. Yeah, Donnie would love getting more loot.

Mikey

Insect Glaive: let my boy bounce. Mikey would love this weapon and you can fight me on this I will be in the Gathering Hub. He would spend 90% of the hunt in the air just because he can. He would adore his kinsect too. (No this is not just because Mikey is my favorite and I main IG)

Dual Blades: this one speaks for itself. He would zip around and do the spinny thing down the monster's back.

April

Hammer: come on she uses a bat, and what is a bat? A tiny thin hammer. She would love doing the big wind-up and smashing monsters in the face. (She would also smack people and send them flying---Capcom, I am mad you got rid of that feature)

Charge Blade: Okay, this one is a bit of a reach since I've only tried CB in the training area. But she'd get good attack, defense, and mobility. April does like her heavy hitters, but she also likes running around, and some defense never hurt anybody.

Splinter

(Splinter definitely knows how to use all of the weapons, but these two are his mains)

Sword & Shield: Splinter is that guy who tried all of the weapons and went back to the basics.

Dual Blades: When he fights in the series he is all quick and stuff so DB makes sense.

Casey (Senior)

(Casey only needs one weapon. She picked it because she thought it sounded cool and has not stopped using it since)

Switch Axe: This one just makes sense in my head.

Junior

(I don't think either of these needs explaining he takes after his mom and the dad who stepped up)

Honorable Mention: Todd

Hunting Horn: I don't need to explain myself. Todd would bring two different hunting horns because he likes how they look. You can fight me on this.

Fic Idea

Okay, so hear me out. I've seen and kinda read some of the fics where Optimus is Bumblebee's bio-dad. How about instead, Starscream is Bee's carrier.

Just think of the angst potential. Bee was separated from his carrier and ended up with the Autobots. Starscream assumed that his sparkling died.

Bumblebee would be a triple-changer, but he doesn't know until something happens to make it happen. A now obvious hybrid of a gounder and seeker would rattle both sides of the war. Megatron would find some way to be an aft about it.

Eventually, things would have to come out. Which of them would even find out first? Bee would be so torn if he found out first. He'd probably make a plan to try to talk it out with Screamer. While Starscream is his scheming self, he's already not okay because of the trauma of losing Bee once.

Either way, both of them would eventually find out and have to meet. If there is one thing that Bee inherited from Starscream, it is his stubbornness. Would either of them back down from their beliefs in their factions? Or in Screamer's case, his want to overthrown Megs and lead the Decepticons. There is no way that Bee would want that.

Bee angst---Screamer angst---all the angst!

Have some random drawings that I did

Lol random rant down here. I was in a fandom dry patch for a while because my brain couldn't focus on one fandom for more than a couple of days. So nothing was working right for me---writing wise. Now tho I've gotten back into transformers after not being in the interested fandom for like ten years. I had been meaning to get back into it, but I guess the stars aligned earlier in October.

So I've finally been writing fanfics again. Not just starting stuff up and dropping it because I don't have any motivation. In total I've written just under 20k words worth in fics for the fandom. Which is wild since I've been consuming just about any fic I can get my hands on (which is ruining my sleep schedule but who cares about that, my sparkle is back baby!).

Obviously, nothing has been posted on Ao3 yet, because I am holding myself and making myself finish the majority of the fic before I even think of posting. Even if the brain worms want me to post things like the maniac I am.

I'll probably post some things about the fics I am cooking up in the shitty angstland that is my brain. I'm writing something that I keep crying about because just the thought of it is saddening. It doesn't help that I listen to sad songs while writing/getting inspo. It is a Starscream-centric fic. :)

I’m going to crash out. I recently got a job and i keep getting closing shifts (don’t mind that part too much). The issue is I haven’t even been there a month and they’ve been leaving me alone. It’s a retail job but I have to handle tools and machinery (weedwhackers, hammer drills, floor sanders, etc).

I’m not supposed to be left alone yet, I don’t even know how to clean/operate the majority of our tools. But they fired the guy who was usually closing with me (for 2 out of the 3 weeks I’ve worked on the floor so far). The amount of times I have to call the manager is crazy.

You really don’t understand how bad working retail is until you’re behind the counter.

Rectifier (Ao3) - Chapter One

A ROTTMNT x DC crossover fic

Summary:

Donnie's hand clung tightly to his little brother's shoulder, watching as Lichtenberg's scars traveled up Mikey's arms. Donnie’s fingers burned as he anchored himself to Mikey, his breathing sharp and chest heaving. Raph was in an injured heap behind them, his leg bent at an awkward angle. Donnie’s head ached, but he knew Mikey could do it. The universe ripped at the seams, and Leo was pulled from the clutches of the Kraang. Orange light swallowed Donnie whole as he kept a firm hand on his youngest brother. OR Donnie and Mikey end up in an alternate universe where, instead of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there is a Justice League. Mikey is hurt, and Donnie is left to his own devices. OR Donnie accidentally becomes one of Batman’s rogues.

While Mikey was snoozing on the fire escape Donnie hoisted them up onto. He got to work, figuring out where they were. At first he figured they were in Newark, New Jersey; but opening the map threw him for a loop. Gotham. They were in a place called Gotham City, a place that should not exist. A place that does not exist.

Next, he pulled up the news; the attack on New York should be on every major news outlet. But it was not. There was no mention of the Kraang’s invasion or pink fleshy aliens attacking the city. Instead, the news was covering an organization known as the Justice League. It was something straight out of a comic book: a team of superheroes that defended the world against threats. Donnie swore this was the exact plot of the one Jupiter Jim comic run.

What if 2012 Karai was raised by the last Ronin instead of Shredder?

How Ronin ends up in the 2012 universe is up in the air. I’ve got a few ideas but thing concrete. But Ronin definitely raises Karai in Japan.

Can you think of the angst potential? Ronin has a huge grudge against the Foot because of his dead family. He would eventually have to figure out that he isn’t in the right universe. And whose counterpart has he been raising? Why the head of his Foot clan.
