I have so many reasons for believing transfeminism targets children but especially mentally unwell children, which is probably not news to anyone but I'd like to elaborate on some specifics. I think part of what is so damaging about gender ideology on kids is the very concept of a "gender identity." It is extremely common for all kids but ESPECIALLY kids living in unstable, unpredictable, abusive and/or chronically traumatizing environments to have little to no sense of identity. One of the tricks transfeminism plays on you is by instilling in you the belief that having a "gender identity" means "feeling" like a boy or a girl. Identity is not a set of beliefs, experiences, personality traits and preferences, but something you feel. When you feel good you are right gender, when you feel bad you are wrong gender. Gender identity is a feeling everyone is supposed to have. You know you are a woman because you feel like a woman, or whatever. And most traumatized kids don't feel anything about themselves except a sense of disappointment, confusion or outright self-loathing. Their identities are at best blank slates, because what they've undergone hasn't really allowed them to form any coherent sense of self yet. This is interpreted as there being something wrong that needs to be fixed. If society tells you that you are a woman but you don't FEEL like one, then clearly something must be amiss. You try on various presentations and the only thing that approximates comfort is androgyny or masculinity, because at least it gets you away from some of the shame of femaleness. The gap where your real identity is supposed to be has instead been filled in with aesthetics and consumerism, and while you've been trying to figure out your "gender identity" because you have now been convinced that it is the source of all of your suffering, you have been neglecting forming a real one. In my opinion this is part of why so many of them are so immature, under-developed or obsessed with superficial things like collecting objects. Most of them were once children in unhappy situations who were confused about who they were, and instead of receiving the care and support they needed to discover themselves their lack of a coherent identity was taken advantage of, prevented from developing and replaced instead with materialism and weird sex stuff.

I wonder how many non Jews are aware that we did try to go back after the Holocaust. There's plenty of stories about someone's grandmother or grandfather trying to return home in Poland or Germany to find strangers living in their houses, using their silver kiddish cups or their Shabbos candlesticks. Using their tables and homes and clothes, as if everything was simply abandoned by choice and was free to take. Some of us DID try going back.

We were not welcomed to. There was nothing left because they ensured there wouldn't be.

i think one of the worst things the left wing internet ever did was push the idea that oppression is basically a virtue, and being oppressed is a sign of your morality. it has made it like…impossible for some of you to hold the idea that most people are privileged in some ways and oppressed in others. Experts on domestic abuse: When a man says he is being abused by a woman, you should assume he is abusing the woman in question and wants your help to keep her in line. Abusive men often use this technique in professional settings such as therapy, and it’s important not to buy into it for even a second.

The domestic violence training I went to a few days ago was meant for an audience of EMTs and law enforcement, and the two detectives heading the presentation literally said this. They obviously acknowledge that male victims of female abusers do exist and do deserve help, but the odds of this scenario are slim. They've seen men bash themselves in the face to incriminate their female victim when the latter calls 911. They went over in aching detail how male abusers will buddy up to first responders and play the victim, because they know from experience that it often works. Often, these male abusers will beat their victims to the phone to call for help...for themselves and their self inflicted injuries which they blame on their wives or girlfriends.

They also love to hit and beat their victims until the victims finally retaliate with a small slap or push. Then, predictably, the abusers will tell anyone who'll listen that they are the abuse victim.

One of the presenters said he'd literally gotten camera footage of a male suspect acquainting his fist with his face while pretending to scream as his bruised and battered wife was on the phone with 911, and then, when the cops showed up, he came crying about how she'd beaten him. The idiot did it all in view of his ring camera.

They are very predictable. Unfortunately, there's a reason they're so confident in their tactics: those tactics work on law enforcement, which is permeated with misogyny.

And, doubly unfortunately, I could add all the disclaimers about how male victims truly do exist and deserve help, etc.,....and yet some people will still choose to read this as hatred towards them.

I know you think it’s “feminist” to hate on women who already have self esteem and image issues (through no fault of their own, as a direct result of patriarchy) for doing something to help them cope with their fleeting youth - which may or may not have been stripped from them against their will due to years of depression, abuse, oppression, or whatever else - but the truth is that the freedom to get Botox is actually a right feminists have fought for - whether intentionally or unintentionally. Women used to get thrown away when we outlived our youth and beauty - now we have the option to prolong it and change the way we are perceived and treated by society as a whole. We ALL had to grow up too fast. We ALL have to cope with a childhood that ended too soon. I’m no less a feminist than you are simply because I choose to hold onto my youth and beauty because it helps me feel better about my own loss of innocence. This is all just another excuse to hate on women and tear us down. You’re literally letting the patriarchy win by judging women for their personal choices which harm absolutely no one. Please grow up. Not everyone is conventionally attractive or ages gracefully. Some women can cope with that and some can’t. Both deserve love and respect. Have some decency. You’re not edgy for this. Isn’t it so fucked up how men will constantly try to deter any woman’s sense of safety or power? If a woman says she has big dogs to walk with at night, you’ll find men saying “Can it take a bullet” or if a woman has a gun they’ll say “I can just twist your wrist and take it from you”. They’re always intentionally trying to make us feel threatened and unsafe. Men will go the extra mile to find every possible way to antagonize and harm women, if we have the power to defend ourselves, they will do whatever it takes to undermine it because for them, putting women in danger, stripping us of our agency and safety, gives them power and control. And they have the audacity to call themselves protectors and actually delude themselves to believe it. The idea of women protecting themselves and taking precautions angers them, which is why they always feel the need to undermine it.
