it's kaz winter and inej went on a trip
They are walking through the crowded streets kaz is holding inej's hand keep her close to him. He watches Inej being all excited and pointing at everything that catches her eyes.
,,Kaz! Kaz it started snowing!" Kaz looked up at the sky and then at her. Seeing the snowflakes landing in her hair, making them sparkle and her cheeks getting even more red.
He put her hood on her hair and caressed her cheek. ,, Inej we should go back. Go somewhere where's warm, you're getting cold and i don't want you to get si-" that's when she let go of his hand and run into a store. , ,Inej-" ,, wait here i'll be back soon!"
He went and waited outside the store. After 5 minutes inures she came back with two cups of hot chocolate in her hands. ,, look what i got us
it'll warm us up" Kaz stared at the hot chocolate. He used to drink with Jordie. And he loved it. But after Jordie died he stopped drinking it. Everything that brought him joy he threw away. Colourful clothes, sweets, hot chocolate..
And now when Inej came she brought it all back. Except the colorful clothes.
The world was black and white but she was screaming colours.
,,Kaz? Are you okay?" her soft voice brought him back to reality. He looked at her and grabbed a cup of hot chocolate. ,, Thank you..." ,,have you had hot chocolate?" Inej asked, tilting her head.
,,...yes but that was a long time ago..." he said with voice that was just above a whisper and took a sip of it.
Inrj smiled a bit and touched his cheek. Kaz leaned his face into the palm of her hand. , Kaz... you've did so much for me... and you don't have to tell me about your past or about your brother... but i want you to know that your secrets are safe with me" Kaz heaved a sigh and nodded. ,, I know... i will tell you.." Inej was shocked, looking at him with wide eyes. , you... will?" Kaz nodded. ,, yes... when we'll be alone.. now come on you wanted to see Christmas tree..." Inej wanted to steal his cane... He teased her and then acted like nothing. ,,...demjin" she whispered. Kaz chucked and Inej couldn't help but stare at his dimples. ,,everybody have their own demons... and i'm yours...deal with it"
Later that day... when they were back home. Kaz told her everything. And when he looked at her and saw the tears in her eyes he regretted telling her. Not because he told her his secret. But because he made her cry.
Kaz leaned closer and wiped the tears away from her cheeks. ,, Inej don't cry... i'm here aren't i?" She looked at him. Even when she was crying she was beautiful. ,, But... Kaz.." Inej gently cupped his cheeks with the top of her fingers and gently kissed his forehead.
