Well, I finally got around to customizing my blog... Hello everyone, and welcome!!!

My name is LazyPotato but you can just call me Lazy! I am 18. My birthday is on 10/10 (month/day) or 10/10 (day/month). My pronouns are he/him. Fun fact about me: I exist (I think)

I won't really post here that much, it's looking to be about 5 posts a week including reblogs.

Don't be too weird here. I'd give my DNIs but knowing the internet, people would just disrespect it on purpose. But just know, I have a block button and I'm not afraid to use it! (lying)

-Music: I play the Electric Guitar, Mountain Dulcimer, and my favorite instrument, the Kalimba! I want a Cello so badly though. -Video Games (yes it's a hobby, be quiet): Other than the ones I said in my fandoms, I really love this cozy puzzle game called A Little to the Left, highly recommend it if you love organizing as much as I do. -Reading: I really like Dark Fantasy stories, but it takes me so long to read because I spend my time doing other things. -Crochet: I picked it up over the summer, but I'm not very good at it. -Baking: Why is it so hard?!?!!? I just like baking waffles, idk. -Journaling: A cozy past time to reflect on my day, I did physical journaling on a notebook for 3 whole books until I switched to virtual.

Too bad I'm addicted to YouTube instead of actually working on those hobbies.

Thinking about un!div got me researching about parasitic butterflies for hcs and cool symbolism and i’m dropping some stuff about it here cuz maybe u’ll also get some ideas from it idk lol                so ye i was just thinking about un!div              thinking about him getting compared to a parasite one time and going woaw that works really well actually     hes also butterfly   conclusion   check to see if parasitic butterflies exist   and they do :D  (mostly at the caterpillar stage tho but still) normally their hosts tend to be ant colonies where they trick the ants into letting them in and treating them like one of them   thus giving them resources to survive like food   some types of caterpillars will just like  flat out eat some of the ant larvae    and the ants will just do nothing about it   i dont remember why they do nothing about it tho lol   eventually they become a chrysalis and depending on the type either leave immediately when all the ants are asleep or kill all other caterpillars/chrysalis in there and then leave (including ones of their own kind)   i don’t fully remember everything about my research but yea   they also will sometimes instead of doing the strategy i mentioned just straight up break in and kill a bunch of ants but that has a lower success rate and i dont think fits un!div so yea   i also recommend if u find this interesting them do research urself cuz its pretty interesting and i’m writing this from memory so i might have gotten some stuff wrong

I read a SINGLE ACD Sherlock Holmes story for the first time without having seen any other official adaptations and I already get the love for Johnlock.

Saying goodbye to Natm on Netflix

Dear Netflix, thank you for having the franchise on your platform for 120 days, for a couple of days Night at the Museums was trending on the top 10 movies in the United States And #1 on Netflix Kids top 10 movies beating Kpop Demon Hunters alongside the first two movies on the same list for a few days as well.

And let me tell you, Netflix did more for NATM than Disney Plus did, I remember when the first two Natm movies came on Disney Plus five years ago the first movie was on the trending page way at the end for one day, one day, but on Netflix it was trending for a few days in a row.

Because of Netflix, we introduced a new generation of kids, adults, and families to the movies and reunited people who hadn't watched them in years. And of course, hopefully, to inspire people to learn about history.

And it showed me that people still care about the franchise and I was shocked to see it do well by being on the top 10 movies both on regular and on Netflix Kids.

But anyways Netflix thank you, for what you have done for the trilogy, and as much as I might regret never watching it on the platform (yes I admit I didn't watch any of the films on Netflix despite doing the updates) I am glad other people were able to watch and hopefully enjoy the franchise as I do.💙

PS: I've been surviving watching the franchise on physical media and I refuse to watch the trilogy on Disney+.

This is beautifully said! And as one of the people who saw the first two movies because of Netflix for the first time (unfortunately I never got around to the third one) with the second one being just now, I’m genuinely so happy that they put the movies on their platform.

The first movie threw more fuel onto the raging inferno that is my love for history by allowing me some simple fun that doesn’t take itself too seriously and I’m so happy I got to watch it!

Exactly!!! 50 Ways has been out 11 years now and has a massive viewer base and yet there's hardly any scraps of fanart. But the Unserious SMP by div_y has been out for ONE year and yet there's an account dedicated to drawing fanart of it EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!! And I love the Unserious SMP series, don't get me wrong, but the time-fanart ratio of the two just ISN'T ADDING UP!!!

I'm so tempted to draw fanart of it right now just to be the change we need in the world.

Despite what is normally thought, Creepers are not animals, but a unique species of fungi. Their life cycle starts when their spores find a favorable place, dark and humid, to grow, like lush forests or caves. These spores multiply until a green and branched body is formed, visually indistinguishable from true moss or liquen. It’s only in their second year of life that Creepers begin to develop characteristics innate to the species: a big sturdy stalk with a smooth grey tip. By the third year, Creepers already have a long neck and developed face, with primitive eyes only capable of distinguishing light and shadow and a crack that, although looking like a mouth, is used to detect smells and air particles, as well as the direction of the wind. From then on, the front legs begin to grow, finishing in the fifth year, and, in the seventh, the back legs are also done. That’s when a Creeper starts wandering the world.

 Usually, adult Creepers only live for a few weeks. They have only one objective: spread their spores. For that, all they need is to find a possible threat. They approach it, their light thin legs silencing their steps, and then they explode by rapidly heating up the chemicals in their body. This way, the threat is eliminated and the spores are thrown in the atmosphere, guaranteeing the propagation of the species.

 A curious behaviour that can be observed in Creepers is their fear of cats. The leafy bodies of these creatures have similar effects to catnip, attracting felines that can end up damaging essential structures to the survival of these beings. Therefore, instead of exploding, Creepers prefer running away, making it so cats are very efficient at keeping these creatures away.
