ive been watching a bunch of "solve along" videos were essentially someone is reading through a murder mystery novel (they arent just reading it to you, at least not the ones ive watched so far) where they read a few chapters and then come back like "okay heres a summary and heres what i THINK is happening and my theories on who the killer is" so essentially theyre trying to solve the mystery before the book tells you and ive been having a lot of fun watching them, especially when the come back at a later point like "oh im so confused, also heres something from an earlier chapter i didnt mention cause i didnt think it was important but oh my god it is"

and its also made me realize how fun it could be for someone to make like a "true crime" series but theyre doing that style of video with these fictional mysteries

like i think itd be so fun and wouldnt have the icky shit that goes on with true crime

i was walking my cat for the first time cause i just got her a harness and leash and while i was doing that some guy just fucking appeared in my yard behind me to like try and get me to buy security cameras

and while it was annoying from my perspective i desperately kinda wanna know what it was like from theirs

like imagine walking up to someone, you shout hey a few times as you walk up to them in their yard, they clearly dont notice you initially but when they do they say “hold on” and bend over to pick up what you probably thought was a small dog and then they stand back up with what is clearly an orange cat in their arms

and then you try and sell them a fucking security camera thing that they clearly dont fucking want
