A lot of talk about privilege and frameworks like punching up/down kind of assumed everyone lives in reality, when a fundamental belief to much bigotry is that the marginalized group is secretly more powerful and privileged than you. Whether that's conspiracy theories about how they rule society from the shadows or just claims that they have more advantages (like how a large share of white people in the US believe people of color automatically get into college without "deserving" to and go for free) they wouldn't really object to a "you should focus on who's most privileged" framework, they just slot whoever they hate atop of it
