Thus, he believed that gifting it to his mysterious partner was the finest expression of gratitude and respect. It spoke deeper than words ever could.Both the Blue Spirit and the Painted Lady had long known that this companion, who suddenly crossed their path, was no deity. In this dark world, they were merely ordinary souls bound by fate, borrowing the mantle of the gods.Receiving the flower brought a deep sense of warmth to Katara. She did not seek rewards, nor did she care for honor or applause. She simply wished to help these suffering people and could not bear to stand by and do nothing. Yet, when someone validated her efforts, it still brought the joy of being seen and understood; it warmed her heart. Her companion was hot-tempered and brash, yet clumsily endearing. She hoped that one day, when the war ended, they could both take off their masks—perhaps, they would become great friends

....Everything changed only when they reached the underground catacombs.Katara didn't even care to wipe the red paint from her face as she cried out, "I thought you had changed!"Meanwhile, the mask of the Blue Spirit lay silently to the side, alongside that little flower, which had miserably... withered away in the scorching heat.

Watching yesterday's livestream drove me crazy. I ended up scribbling a bunch of gibberish in my notebook😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

By the way, this scene gave me massive Rapunzel energy! I can't quite explain it, but it just felt so similar and so heartwarming!! It's such a magical feeling! I'm also thrilled they integrated The Painted Lady concept so early on. It makes the adaptation feel completely natural instead of abrupt
