Outer Wilds.

It’s such a love letter to not just sci-fi as a genre, but science as a whole. It reignited my own passion for both after feeling pretty burned out from a decade in tech really crushing the joy out of it. Every part of this game is just so thoughtfully put together and you can tell the team really deeply cared about what they did. It’s a masterpiece.

If you’re into Pokopia because you like the archaeology aspects of it, then you should try this game because you’re basically a space archaeologist!

If you love Project Hail Mary, you should ABSOLUTELY play this game, they are both chock full of cosmic hope with extremely lovable characters.

It doesn’t hold your hand at all, and you must read everything you encounter, but it’s so worth the journey. And everybody’s journey through the game is unique and different, how cool is that! You’ll feel so proud of yourself and all that you’ve accomplished by the end of the game. But take your time and cherish that journey, because you can only play the game once!
