last I heard it sounds like the website I got the original reference image for this from is either dead or on its way out. this artwork is truly a moment of time in a way, but I hope the uncanny feeling of it and its intentions last forever.
sit with the overly-picturesque scene and feel the falsehood of it. notice all the tags praising this as positivity without question β it's not wrong that that's all some people see in this. the obfuscated context is the point. don't ignore that as happy as the dog and cat might seem to you, the pig is still dead. know that someone cares about you; if not here then at least in some other community of exiles like you. I don't know if that's good consolation or just damnation. I'm sorry if you're tired. I'm tired too.
