Writers isolating Lian from Roy is genuinely so concerning to see but we can't do anything but hope that an actual good writer will stop it

I will talk about it soon but Jesus it's so concerning to see that DC is really treating single parents badly and that includes waller and her character assassination

Matrix really is an anomaly of a character cause while she's a interesting character the inability to really be rid of lex for good and being a product of trying to bring back kara through a loophole since there was a mandate at a time really has left her in a weird spot on whether or not she can or not fit in the main universe

Linda danvers could come back because of the fact she still has some unanswered questions and could have a nice dynamic with Kara and the others along with that her series was heavily based off buffy, she could come back easily

but matrix? It kinda just feels like you would need to do alot of work, not saying she is a bad character but if she were to ever return there would need to be a lot of reorganizing and reworking, also keep her away from lex look I understand the point of that plotline but it got very tiring very fast

Now again not saying she can't work in the modern DC universe but again it would just take a lot of work and especially risk That I don't think both DC themselves and Writers would want to do

Imagining Tim becoming Greta's benefactor until she has fully rebuilt her life to live comfortably but also deciding to take on the paternal job of meeting any boys Greta is interested in and he constantly just goes "NEH! eh!! Nada! Nope!" Because he and the others have too high of standards and want her to be happy

And then Thad walks in and this time, Steph also joins in and he has no choice but to actually listen and accept because first, Steph is giving him a disapproving look whenever he does a sly remark, Greta seems very happy and third even Bart is saying "yeah he's chill now"

And to make things worse thad answered a question with "Oh she has a nice butt" and that almost caused Tim to jump over the table and choke him so when he (invebility) says "sure you can date Greta, yada yada" he has this tired face and looks like his soul has been drained out of him and when Thad leaves he just screams into a pillow cause one of the people he hates the most is dating his friend he's probably very protective of

Iris would probably tell Thad after a redemption and atonement arc, not sugarcoat and just outright tell him that she feels no love for him, that the only reason she's even entertaining the fact is so he doesn't go berserk but at the end of the day, Thad is nothing but a person wearing her grandsons face and despite that no matter how hard she tried, there's no love for him, to get out and never talk to her again because she can't even stand the sight of him, because Max and Bart probably forgive him, but she never will, she won't ever forgive something so hideous created by the man who took her Children away from her

She opens the door, tells him to get out, Thad only nods because he knows she's right and leaves because he knows he can't change iris's mind, only two members hell four if pushing it can even acknowledge his existence...and all he can do now is Just rebuild wherever that may happen because dying is the easy way out of his punishment, living is his punishment for now at least until he can find a place where he belongs

Maxine since the death of cliff has really just been a nothing character and honestly I hate the fact that she was pushed so much to be Irey's friend and Jai's love interest to the point no one even remembers it, Maxine quite literally hijacked their relationship to be apart of their lives and have the most bland and horrible dynamics with them

It's so bad you could use the potential ____ meme format and it still wouldn't come close to how useless and detrimental she was to the Adams run, I genuinely hope we don't see her again In flash comics and irey and Jai are given actual friends that genuinely do have a dynamic with them because Maxine was such a nothing burger and JaiMaxine was such a nothing ship that I can't even find myself making fun of it, that's how bland and boring and just downright horribly written it all was

And honestly I also blame Jeff lemire killing off cliff too but trust me this is only my surface levels thoughts on Maxine, I love her but her inclusion in the Adams run (and the Spurrier run for like 2 seconds) were genuinely one of the most bland parts of the run

Ladies, gentlemen, Buckets and Cashews alike I'm happy to say, that the flash is officially back!

After the nightmare that was the spurrier run, Ryan north and Gavin guidry's first arc of their new flash run was absolutely AMAZING! A short three issue arc that didn't overstay its welcome and will definitely play in the overarching plot to come, guys the flash is back, my love for the flash is back, if you haven't already I recommend buying issue 31, 32 and 33 from your lcs or wherever you buy comics

I truly believe this is the successor to the mark waid run and truly has given us the time to breath that we needed since titans dc rebirth, I might make a review of it soon to give my deeper thoughts on it but everyone again Im glad to say! The flash is back!

The new flash issue comes out tomorrow yet I feel like if I wait one more day I might explode, the run just has been a massive upgrade from the Spurrier run, and honestly it really feels like the whole writing for the trade syndrome isn't there

Also the fact Jai and irey seem to be back to At least post Adams run at the most, I think this flash run might genuinely make up for the trash that was the Spurrier run and it's writing of the twins and Wally oh and it's finally treating Linda with respect and part of the crew without giving her powers unlike the Spurrier and Adams run, so this whole thing has been a massive comic back

Anyone who uses dickkory as an excuse to dunk on dickbabs and be sexist, THIS GOES BOTH WAYS BTW, DICKBABS ARE ALSO GUILTY OF THIS

Fundamentally misunderstands why people are upset, we don't want dick and Babs to break up in current comics, would it be nice and he got back together with Kory? Yeah! It would but like at the same time this is a whole new continuity BUT! What we want at the least is to see them interact and have them have heartfelt moments and actually have those decades of history together actually matter

The same goes with Babs and her friends(especially Dinah and the birds of prey) and kori and her friends, just because kori and dick aren't dating anymore doesn't they aren't friends, at the very least what most dickkory fans want is to have those years actually matter that's all, and the fact I keep seeing both sides try to start wars over this for no reason whatsoever and keep acting like it's the whole fanbase is annoying

Especially on the god forbidden tok app, the community there is genuinely so bad and don't want any good writing, but yeah don't use any of these ships to justify dunking on the other or be sexist, we see you grifters you ain't ruining this for us

Also yes this is also about the recent titans issues, but I refuse to talk about those messes because if I do I might explode

You know what after like seeing Linda get strange abilities in the Spurrier run for like 5 seconds and getting super speed in the Adams run

I want her to just kick a**, no no powers no strange abilities, she's a reporter and the wife of a superhero, I refuse to believe she didn't get self defense classes or at least has a conceal carry especially after the Kobra incident where she legit started blasting

Give Linda a bat, a gun and let her use her Brain, the woman is low-key unstoppable that's why she's the best
