For no particular reason, here's a list of reasons not to kill yourself this winter.
If you give up, they win. If you die now, imagine how annoying they'll be about it. Do not let that be your legacy.
Ten years ago you probably never would've guessed you'd be in the place you are now - you don't know where you'll be in ten more years either. Stick around and see what happens. Could be awesome.
Think of all the people you still have yet to see die. Outlive that shitty politician. Outlive that billionaire. Outlive that annoying bitch in your personal life. Outlive your enemies in general.
Somebody's gonna have to find your body. Don't run the risk of traumatizing someone else. Passing the pain on and all that.
If you survive you'll get to eat your favorite food again at some point. If you don't like food, then think of your favorite drink.
Someone out there someday is gonna wholly believe that you are the purpose of their very life. If you want it, there is love and companionship waiting for you. And if you don't, there's a lifetime of beautiful things to see on your own.
There is no such thing as a problem that can't be fixed, even if you have to do something a little insane and risky for it. If you're already willing to lose your life to your own hand, why not take a chance on a drastic solution of a more productive kind?
There is so much more to do of your hobbies, no matter what they are. There are too many paintings to make, too many books to read, too many bees to raise, too many performances to be in, too many computers to fix, for you to give up now.
Furthermore, there's so many experiences to have and things to consume as well. Think of all the restaurants you haven't been to, the art you haven't seen, the new season or chapter or part to that media you enjoy that hasn't come out yet. Aren't you curious?
Imagine how good it'll feel someday to be able to say you got through this. You can wear it as a badge of pride, whack your haters with it, or anything else you like, but nobody can take your victories away from you once they're achieved.
This list is short but it's potent to me and I hope it helps someone, especially the someone it was made for. Nobody is obligated to reblog but it would be very much appreciated. This winter, survive. I love you.
