I had a dream last night that I hooked up with somebody. I was wearing the hoodie my ex gave me and it ended up on the floor. Then it ended up getting a mess on it. and when I left, I left it there on the floor of that persons apartment and felt,, lighter.

it was kinda gross, and the dream hookup actually sucked. But something about seeing that stupid hoodie on the ground covered in somebody else’s mess was a little satisfying.

I thought “well, it’s not my problem anymore. I have no reason to take this with me. It can stay here in this shabby ass apartment and be tossed like garbage and I can finally start to move on.”

it's taking all of my energy just to take care of myself and go to work at my shitty paying part time job. when im not working all i want to do is get away from the world. fanfictions are my only real comfort right now, but i over indulge myself. i read until theres a few hours before i need to work and i know i'll be running on 4 hours of sleep but i'm scared of being stuck alone with my mind the minute i stop distracting myself. it hurts too much to sit with. you have ruined my safe place and i want to kill you for it. i want to wrap my small hands around your throat and choke you dead. i hate you. i loved you. i hate you. this apartment is contaminated with memories of you that i wish i could burn to ashes.

your name is a lie. everything about you; from the love in your eyes, the words that slithered out between your teeth, the promises you knew you couldn't ever keep, to how gently you held me at night, was a fucking lie. every morning i wake up with static in my chest. i didn't know static could feel so heavy. it takes so much just to sit up out of bed. to ignore the space beside me that used to be occupied.

i dread every evening. when the sun goes down, i feel myself being dragged down with it. i feel like the second i lay down i will not get back up. so i stay up. for hours. avoiding my bed. avoiding sleep.

the moon reminds me that i am on fire. i'm burning up, more heat than i can possibly contain, but god do i try. i'm choking on my own smoke, and all i can do is keep my hands tucked into myself so that nobody else has to burn with me. sometimes i miss you so much i don't know what to do with myself. or with the disgust i feel when i miss you. the sickness inside my gut when i find myself longing for your touch. i feel vile. wrong. how fucked up is that? you took advantage of me just to prove you could, and somehow, i am still the one that feels guilty. my anger feels so violent, i can't stand to be alone in a room with it. i've lost count of how many times i've wanted to sink my teeth into your throat until you bleed out.

you made me sick. with no end in sight to it. i hate you.

I keep having dreams about you. It's weird. Because you are the only person I have had such consistent dreams about, and I haven't seen your face or talked to you in at least 3 years. You look a little different in all of them, but it's always the same general concept.

We bump into eachother unexpectedly, you're a different person, I'm a different person. and we just talk. Simple conversations between two old friends turned strangers. And yet even though we no longer know eachother, the conversations are so familiar.

And comforting. almost like we never really stopped talking.

I wonder if you've forgotten me by now or if maybe you have dreams too. I doubt it, but, the thought is kind of nice.
