Saw Mamamoo in New York and it still doesn’t feel real. Hwasa liked my sign and put her hand on the hearts. Each of the members walked in front of me multiple times and Solar even touched my hand. I may never recover.
gay people never flirt normally it's always gotta be some shit like this
don't infantilise yourself. you are not a child who needs an adult to make your decisions for you. you are a splendid and magnificent autocrat and you are consulting your trusted advisors. you are exercising great wisdom by inviting an expert to give their opinion before making your ruling. often the path of wisdom is to say "good morning, I'm trying to [perform task] and I have a question about [aspect], can you tell me who I should speak to for advice?" before you do it. sometimes the path of wisdom is to hire a plumber. there are times when you cannot do things for yourself but that doesn't mean you are not an adult. you don't need a grown-up. you need a specialist.
this has come up a couple of times so let me be really really clear:
the path of wisdom is sometimes to hire a plumber.
the path of wisdom is always to hire an electrician.
Guys why the fuck are able bodied people like this.
A family friend (don't know her too well) tried to hug me as she was leaving, and I politely tried asking her not to because 1) I'm in pain and 2) my spine is deteriorating due to a chemo drug. I really mean it when I say you can't hug me. But this bitch just went "no I'm gonna hug you" and shook me around and squeezed me like a dish towel while I was trying to push her off, and now a section of my spine and ribs is so fucked up I can't bend it and it really hurts. She literally injured me just because she couldn't take no for a fucking answer.
Like. This is why I have learned helplessness. This is why I give up so easily. At some point, having boundaries and asserting yourself and communicating your needs doesn't do jack fucking shit, because if people want to, they can overpower you and physically harm you in the process anyway. For nothing.
And this is why I don't buy people saying "it's YOUR responsibility to enforce your boundaries; just asking for something isn't a boundary <3." Because I physically can't. Most disabled people physically can't. A person in a wheelchair can't "enforce" someone not touching their chair. Yeah, after it happens, they can maybe avoid that person in the future as a way to "remove that person's access" to the wheelchair user. But at that point, assault has already been committed and it's not about boundaries anymore. It's about human fucking rights. "Don't assault me" is not a fucking boundary. It's an able bodied person's trigger word.
Someone moving your wheelchair without your permission is the most fucking terrifying thing.
If I picked you up and moved you without warning or explanation you'd be freaked the fuck out too.
Don't. Touch. The. Chair.
Due to my weird childhood and my weird brain, I have this very unhelpful compulsion to conceal Everything I do from Everyone. I Cannot be observed performing any action, no matter how mundane. My nervous system is convinced I'm gonna, like, Get In Trouble for eating food at dinnertime or sleeping in my bed at bedtime.
I've taken to asking myself, "Okay does this task actually require subterfuge or am I stealing a balloon on Free Balloon Day"
I see from the notes that we're all havin a normal one 👍
As soon as I heard this song, I thought of Juri and Shiori and their complicated relationship.
Hopefully my first of many RGU video edits - I have a lot of ideas! This one was just so clear in my mind that I had to make it first.

Merry Christmas to all of you, wherever you are, your support this year has been my greatest gift! 🎁✨
I hope you all can be there for those who bring you comfort and security with lots of food! 🎄✨
MAY YOU NEVER LOSE YOUR HYPERFIXATION
This is Gaza, where not a single house remains standing. We are without shelter, without food, without water. We are dying. We are being bombed every day. We are being shot at in the middle of Gaza City. Where is the ceasefire agreement? Where is the humanity? They are shooting at and targeting people who go to get some firewood for their families to cook. We are truly oppressed.
Finally got a clear shot of noonoo carrying her spring, it's her favourite toy

Adult ProTip, from a security professional: If a kid tells you, "My parents are gonna kill me / kick my ass / kick me out" for something relatively minor, don't respond with shit like "Really? ;) that sounds a little extreme, don't you think sweetie?" because that shit really does happen.
Instead, respond as though whatever threat they are afraid of is fully valid, and offer whatever you can do to help- ask if they believe they are in danger of being hurt in any way, and work accordingly.
If they're overreacting, they'll usually realize and dial it back, self-correct and begin thinking a bit more rationally.
If they're not overreacting, and the danger is real, then they'll need a level-headed adult in their corner, not another condescending authority figure who doesn't believe them.
sorry about the light mode but this is important also
^^^^^ Also, since it wasn’t in the original post:
Some kids who ARE being abused will backpedal too btw, and minimize things. But investigating gives you a chance to assess, and lets THEM know that there are adults who exist, who- even when they’ve done something wrong- still care about their wellbeing more than they care about punishment
it msut feel sooooo good to be an undulating sea creature swimming around. no bones no eyes just pure wiggling
