A statue or something like it in Jason's honor, repeated mentions of his life in several different comic lines throughout years of death, both mourning and looking back on him with love. Death a major event the writers keep having characters be upset about and focusing on and SAYING NOTHING BUT GOOD ABOUT JASON. A giant funeral that the family and public get to see. A death given breathing room to be. Jaybin nonetheless showing up in au comics and movies and such alive and well and Robin all the time without mention of his fate in main. Why are people so pressed about the idea of Jason being part asian? Some of them act personally offended very time it's mentioned as a possibly. "How dare you suggest that this bland white boy I dislike could be asian" is very much the vibe I see quite often.

And the claims about his bio father Willis are even more riddiculus. Things like "he's the whitest character I ever saw", "his white bread father" or "his clearly white father" being said often enough to notice.

And I'm sorry but who is this "clearly white father"? Because it's for sure not Willis

Authors, please let your female protagonist be better than a man! Please, I'm begging you.

It pisses me off so much everytime I pick up a story with a female main character who is presented as very powerful and/or very intelligent yet the moment her male love interest is introduced it becomes clear he's going to be better than her. Be it more skilled, expierienced, stronger, magically powerful, smarter or more cunning (often more attractive too, sometimes even "the most handsome man she ever seen"🙃) No matter what she will do he will be a step above her.

Even when she's a chosen one, when she's overpowered and special her man will be better than her. It's tiring and frustrating. Authors claim it's there to not make MFC a Mary Sue or to make the couple more equal but it mostly leads to the MMC becoming a Mary Sue while MFC is getting sidelined in her own story.

Female readers deserve our own power fantasy too. Let us escape the patriarchy for at least a little bit. Because when the real world doesn't respect skilled and intelligent women the way it should, when women are stll viewed as less skilled and less smart/rational than men, fiction is the only thing we have left.

If Project Hail Mary taught us anything it's that forced romance subplots have ruined movies. Too many stories about guys sacrificing themselves to save girls and not enough movies about guys sacrificing themselves to save their cool rock alien friend.

Hot take but I want the "unxpected" POV in the next book to be Emerie or Balthazar. We have enough stories about so called high fae and not one perspective from people used by said high fae. I think it's their time to shine

I like the idea that during different festivals and celebrations both male and female fae in Spring Court wear the same types of hairstyles regardless of gender. With incorporation of plant and faether motives being fairly common

Also, with SC having so many different types of less human looking faeries I can imagine the dresses would also be pretty diverse. Taking an inspiration from all different aspects of Spring. From bugs to flowers to green leaves to birds and so many other things. Fae walking around in clothes that resemble a spring strorm, changing weather and shifting wind. With crowns made of frowers, twigs or birsd nests. With clothes as colorful and different as many there were people in the Spring Court

Every. Single. Time. I see Jason calling Tim “kid” in a fic, I die a little inside.

If we go by birth year? it’s literally only a year difference between them, and oh boy, if we go by lived experience? Jason is absolutely, younger than Tim.

Please people, I get you like babying Tim! And WFA! And that’s okay! To each their own and all that, but like, this is getting out of hand. Why do we have so many Jason becoming Tim’s dad fics? (I keep seeing it when that’s not even a theme of the fic??) If you want to do that, Dick is right there???

Plus, the whole POINT, of Tim, is that he’s a perfect slip in for Jason in meta terms, and in canon! A “Better Robin” to fill the role that Jason left behind when he was murdered, it makes SENSE for them to be close in age and looks.

I don’t even like Tim, and I still find it insulting to his character when he’s treated like this ✨abandoned sickly uwu baby that can’t even feed himself✨

I kinda wish people would stop obssesing over Guy's bowlcut

He had so many different hairstyles over the years. More than any other Green Lantern (and most of the other male heroes). Each artist had a different take on i and it was part of his appeal to see how he will look in each comic

Bowlcut is fun, don't get me wrong, but it's just one example in his huge collection of interesting and iconic hairstyles. Nothing to obsess over or die on a hill for defending it
