I’ll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as “attractive” or even “sexy” to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Why is THAT weird but, like, trying to make rabbits recognizably sexy-coded to humans isn’t?

I think it would be cathartic if Jean Moreau were the most sought-after and highest-paid defenseman in exy history, partly because people think he is the only one capable of stopping Day and Josten as a defenseman, because his story of improvement is a delight for the marketing of any team, and also because... come on, it's Jean Moreau!

Real observations since I started wearing a wizard hat daily:

- Brim is so wide that I stay BONE DRY taking walks in the rain

- Brim can be positioned to block the sun from ever getting in my eyes AND keeping it off the back of my neck

- The pointed top part creates an air pocket, keeping my head from getting hot or squishing my hair as it might in a ball cap

- Hat can easily be pulled down over the tips of my ears without looking dumb, protecting them from wind chill

- Strangers say they like my hat, giving me the chance to tell them that I am a wizard

- When you’re wearing a wizard hat, ALL OTHER FASHION CHOICES become secondary, allowing you to branch out with style

If you have friends whose Thing is a movie or TV series I VERY much recommend doing an Annotated Movie Party with them. This is where you watch the Thing and the person gets to explain the lore/background/production notes as you go. Pause as necessary to go on deep dives/ask follow-up questions.

I've started doing this with friends - they did Star Wars, now I'm doing Lord of the Rings. The films' runtime is approximately tripled, and I have learned SO much about Space Fights and explained SO much about Gay Elves. We are having a blast.
