Sometimes I wonder if that demographic of ostensibly "binary" trans people who get weird about it when grouped as Actually being the same gender as their cis counterparts (usually men) are like. Literally just nonbinary and repressed about it. How many complicated tboys talking about "but I'm not REALLY a MAN man" would be better off just, putting a word to that experience instead of trying to stretch definitions and other people's boundaries etc etc to include "men who aren't really men but they are real men just not *cis* men" like Dude ...

Like the conversation tends to revolve around the idea that these guys Are binary men who are just Being Weird About It but honestly like. Putting aside the "you're gonna have to contend with what Being A Man means as a trans guy" while that is true. If you really truly feel like you're a secret third thing. You don't have to call yourself a man. You can be a secret third thing. Being nonbinary is Allowed

Does anybody else remember Nonbinary. I fear the mean little boys of the late 2010s truscum discourse era won that war & a lot of trans people present as more strictly binary than they are for the sake of Validity. But then you get a bunch of people talking like That. And it makes me think. How many of you got bullied back into the closet and/or came out circa 2020 after all of that and think nonbinary is when a cis woman has pronouns ... and then you get other Actually Binary trans people yelling at you about third-gendering them when you make sweeping statements about this feeling that's Not Universal
