Reminiscing about my last day in Bali. Hubby and I got up at 5.30am to watch the sunrise at the beach @grandmirageresort, it was eerily quiet and the water was so still. We have been staying at the Grand Mirage (All Inclusive) Hotel in Nusa Dua for the past week and it has absolutely blown us away with service, hospitality, cleaniness, entertainment and most of all memories that we will treasure with our kids forever! Local food in Seminyak, about 10 mins from Kuta. This platter cost about $39 AUD, it included a big basket of rice and big bowl of soup to share. It includes grilled fish, fried fish, satay chicken, satay fish, stir fried water spinach, grilled prawns and chilli condiments... total bliss! OMG! So True!🤳 I went out to dinner the other night and nearly every single couple sitting opposite each other were on their phones!! What has the world come to when we don't talk to each other even when face to face...very sad 😔☹ There is definitely no ipads or phones allowed at our dinner table and the kids' ipads are banned from Mon to Thurs so they can concentrate on homework etc, and it's made a huge difference. Lunch today...Veggie Laksa from Hokka Hokka at Stocklands Wetherill Park 😍 Very nice but it was a bit sweet for my liking, I prefer my Laksa more on the saltier side. Starting to feel abit of flu like symptoms coming on... Made some unicorn themed/coloured cupcakes for my twins to take to school last week to celebrate their 6th birthday. My girls originally wanted Krispy Kreme donuts but when I calculated the cost it would have been over $60! My twins are in separate classes so I would have needed over 50 donuts.
