Ryomen Sukuna was a well-known figure.
He wasnt just feared, he was fear itself.
A human who turned into a terrifying monster, all because he lusted for power.
He was precisely someone you should avoid in any situation.
But fate had it for you to be forced into his harem.
Fixing your robes, you knelt to the ground along with the other captured women.
"Greeting, my lord."
You spoke alongside, your eyes staring at the rough ground you were kneeling on. As you kept your head down, you heard a rough voice.
"You." A hand lifted your chin, and you were face-to-face with the monster everyone hated.
Those red eyes were bone-chilling, yet you felt no fear, for there was no point in fearing for your life because it could be easily taken away by anyone.
"Yes, my lord?"
He smirked at your reply and grasped your chin tighter.
"You smell good, what is it?"
You blinked softly, your eyelashes fanning high on your cheeks as you answered.
"Lilies."
Your voice didn't waver, your heart didn't stutter and your body didn't tremble - all of this captured his attention.
He let go of your chin to laugh like the madman he was.
"You're bold, I like it."
He turned to his loyal servant. "Uraume."
They immediately bowed down as they waited for Sukuna's order.
"Assign her chambers near the garden."
"Yes, my lord. What about the others?"
His pair of eyes didn't even turn to look at them as he started walking away without answering.
"Understood, my lord." Uraume bowed.
A week passed and you did nothing but roam around the estate, which was quite big.
As usual, you had a flower tucked in your ear from the garden near your chambers; it matched the robes you were wearing.
Your earrings swayed gently with each step you took, your bare foot met the soft green grass of the garden, and your hand stretched out in front of you to touch the petals.
You bent down a little to smell the flower, your eyes closed as you enjoyed the calm.
"What are you doing, women?"
Lifting your head in slight shock, as you hadn't realised the pink-haired man was standing behind you.
You quickly bowed your head down as you greeted: "My lord."
Sukuna smirked when he saw the shock in your eyes.
As you bowed only your head down instead of kneeling down to the ground, he felt the amusement in him double.
"Lift your head."
Then you didn't bother to thank him for his grace and directly stared into his eyes.
A deep chuckle left his mouth at your boldness and he remembered why he spared you.
"Women, tell me your name."
"[Name]." You promptly replied and then remembered you needed to be polite. "...my lord."
His red eyes darkened in curiosity and something more at your reply as he stared directly into your soul.
Sukuna could feel fear instantly and right now, he didn't sense anything from you. He tried to intimidate you by releasing cursed energy that even a normal human could feel, yet your heart didn't waver as you continued to face him.
Your head tilted as you asked. "Is there something you need, my lord?"
"I need a reason to roam in my own estate?" He said, raising an eyebrow and crossing his arms across his chest.
You shook your head and Sukuna watched with somewhat of a daze as the delicate earrings and the hair clips you wore in your hair shook slightly, the sound having somewhat of a hypnotising effect.
"My lord?"
You watched as the man in front of you blinked rapidly before he asked. "What were you doing?"
Your eyes turned away from him to face the flowers in front of you, the jasmines blooming beautifully in the soil, the white petals as white as snow and as soft as silk.
"Smelling the jasmines, my lord." Your eyes softened at the sight, "The gardeners of your estate take great care of them and hence they have bloomed, mesmerising me."
Your fingers gently plucked the small flower and you held it towards him.
"Would you like to smell it?"
Sukuna knew he should feel enraged at the sight of a weak woman asking him to do something as useless as smelling the flower and yet he bent his head down.
Because you lifted the flower to your height rather than his.
Scoffing lightly, he spoke.
"What's so great about its smell?"
Sukuna lifted his head and saw your turn down into a frown.
His eyes traced the delicate downturned curve of your lips as well as the way your eyes narrowed.
"Very well then, it's all right if you cannot appreciate it, my lord." He watched as you snatched your hand away and turned away.
Your audacity surprised him as he silently watched you.
"Then may I pluck these flowers to wear in my hair?"
Sukuna huffed a laugh.
"Go ahead, but you will show it to me tonight."
Sukuna sat on the throne made of bones in the giant room. Servants moved around, placing various dishes on the table, some musicians fiddled with their instruments as the dancers swayed to its rythem.
He leaned his back against the throne as he observed everything from above.
Clicking his tongue, he rolled his eyes as the harem entered.
The pink-haired man only had interest in battles and powers, yet tyrants must always have a hoard of women all over them, at least that's what his loyal servant told him.
His scowl went away when his red eyes noticed you at the back.
The women of the harem all knelt down as they greeted him, but his eyes never left your figure.
"[Name], come here."
You slowly got up and made your way towards him with your eyes staring at the ground.
Sukuna's lips widened in a grin: "You were supposed to show me something tonight."
Your eyes met his as you turned around to show your back.
He stared at the elaborate yet simple bun on your head and saw the jasmine flowers tied up in a string around your bun.
You faced him again as you spoke.
"This is gajra, I wear it becuase its easy to decorate hair with as well as smells good." You continued. "My lord."
"Come sit beside me, my consort."
A week turned into a year, and you continued visiting Sukuna whenever he asked for it. The harem was full of women who wished to have his favour, yet he glanced at no one but you.
The spoils from his fights, whether it be gold or pearls, always went to you. The exquisite embroidered cloth would always be tailored to your size so you could wear it; you lacked nothing.
Your chambers were the place he always went to whenever he felt like it or when he came from battle.
His loud footsteps thumped against the wooden floor.
Sukuna held a beautiful hairpiece that was made purely out of diamonds and shaped like jasmine flowers.
As his feet took him to your chambers, he noticed the eerie silence.
The smell...
'Blood!'
He quickened his steps as he noticed multiple maids lying dead, but only you were in his mind.
Sukuna's eyes frantically looked around as he expanded his cursed energy to sense you. He found you in the gardens he had gifted you.
Full of red roses.
You were there, the blood from your heart spilling out and staining the robe, your eyes were closed.
The hairpiece that he had been holding carefully for you to be gifted slipped out of his hand and thunked against the ground before finding its way to your hand clutching a red rose in your hand.
Sukuna lifted your body, his eyes empty as he felt the coldness of your arms and the blood on your robes.
That was the day the King of Curses was born.
Because love is the most twisted curse of them.
20XX Japan, an highschool becomes the vessel of the most fearsome curse in history.
Itadori was sleeping in the dorms, his mind at peace, when someone took advantage of his carefree state.
Tattoos grew over the body as nails turned into sharp claws.
The body slipped out of the school and towards a direction in determination, the wild flowers touched his feet as he stood.
With a snap of his fingers, the illusion faded as he stepped inside.
A shrine and a body preserved by a cursed technique.
Sukuna stared at the body that was endowed in beautiful robes and knelt down to hold her hand.
"I will bring you back, I promise."
His lips touched the cold hand in his grasp.
"My beloved [Name]."

In the vast land of the ancient era, a kingdom stood at the very top.
A corrupted kingdom that shone with the blood of the common people.
The merciless king who ordered death upon anyone who frowned upon his ideas and ideals, because the king is a ruler and everyone before him is his subject, meant to follow his every word.
He who indulged in greed without shame and ruled through fear.
King [Last Name].
Uttering his full name would be a death sentence; no concubines nor consorts would dare look him in the eyes.
The king had fathered countless children, yet only one was eligible to be the heir apparent.
His only legitimate child — [Name].
...
You were ten when you first met your personal knight, Itachi Uchiha, from the renowned clan of the kingdom.
Following proper royal etiquette, you greeted him with a hand on your chest.
"It is my honour to serve the heir apparent."
When you heard his cold voice, you blinked and then smiled.
...
Itachi was twelve when he first met the future monarch of the kingdom, the only legitimate heir to the throne.
[Last Name] [Name], the heir apparent.
"It is my honour to serve the heir apparent."
He looked at your smile and wondered how long it would take before he would become the reason it dropped from your face.
...
Itachi was fifteen now, still serving for you.
In the light of the burning candle, he wrote on paper.
About the routes of the palace, about the shifts of the guards, about everything he had found.
He clenched his pen tighter as he began to write about you.
Your weakness, your behaviour patterns, the things you were interested in, everything he knew about you.
As he continued to write everything he knew, you slept peacefully in your bed.
The ink from his quill stained the pure white paper, just like he was staining your life.
...
Leaning back against the throne, you sat watching the fight.
Your chin supported by your palm and your leg crossed over the other, you looked every bit of a royal heir.
The outfit you donned shimmered when the sunlight hit it, the crown on your head heavy.
Under the tent, you watched young men and women fight for a position in the royal knights.
"Itachi." You called out to your knight.
The raven-haired man who was standing behind you, as any royal knight would, leaned down to your height.
"Yes, Your Highness?"
"If I were to tell you to go down and fight everyone, would you?"
You watched with a serene look on your face as Itachi remained calm, not a twitch of muscle on his face.
Your chin tilted a little on your palm to face him more clearly, your eyes staring into his dark ones.
"Naturally. Your wish is my command, Your Highness."
You faced the arena once again, your lips stretched up in a smile.
"Well, aren't you loyal?"
...
Itachi took a deep breath as he straightened his back.
Your words echoed in his mind.
"Well, aren't you loyal?"
Those words tainted his mind and heart and soul and everything he ever was.
The hand that was placed above his sword clenched tightly against its hilt, the metal digging into his gloved palm.
His eyes stared ahead blankly.
...
The one and only rule when acting as a double agent — a traitor, was to never feel anything for the one he was to betray.
Itachi Uchiha, who had always been a stickler for rules, managed to break it.
He never expected to feel an ounce of warmth for you — someone belonging to the royal family, the heir to the corrupted king.
His blood flowing in your veins was the only factor, the only reason Itachi had to betray you one day.
Itachi followed exactly four steps behind you and his eyes never left your figure walking ahead of him, the rules instilled into him since his birth.
You stopped and turned around to face him.
"Itachi, you said that my wish is your command, didn't you?" You spoke, staring at him.
The raven-haired man put his right hand on his chest and slightly bowed his head.
"Yes, Your Highness."
You grinned brightly at his words.
"Then let's sneak out!"
Itachi abruptly lifted his head up in shock, even when he knew it was against the rules.
Before he could convince you otherwise, his gaze fell on your grin.
So bright, so full of warmth, that it left him in a daze.
And he followed you as you snuck out, even when it was against the rules.
Because breaking rules for you felt that it was worth it.
...
Time bled into the castle halls, the garden where you relaxed and the portraits of you every year which spanned across the walls.
You stood taller now.
More mature.
At the age you could marry.
You stood in front of your betrothed, the one chosen by your father, the King, who was joyously drinking the wine from his golden goblet at the alliance secured at the price of your happiness.
Despite everything happening against your wishes, you smiled, a bitter one.
You walked towards your future spouse, your movements elegant as you held their hand and walked towards the centre of the floor.
The musicians played a gentle and romantic melody as your feet moved to the music's rhythm, even when it clashed against your heart.
...
Itachi watched everything with his expression unmoving.
The way your hand grasped your fiancé's despite the glove separating the two of you from touching through the skin, he couldn't bear to see it.
But he couldn't look away.
Because his duty as your personal knight made him look at you every second, his gaze burning with desire, regret and longing.
When you smiled at the person in front of you - your future lover, your betrothed, his lips trembled.
Envy surged in his mind, the black tendrils clawing at his heart and gripping the organ so hard he couldn't breathe.
Itachi yearned for something he could never have.
...
Months swept by quickly as the day of your wedding approached.
Staring in the mirror, you adjusted the red embroidered cloth over your torso so it looked neat.
With a heavy heart, you walked towards the decorated hall, followed by your servants. Your eyes met your bethrothed and soon to be your spouse; your heart clenched tight.
As you sat beside them as the priest instructed, the hall came into chaos.
Your father, the King, was shot by an arrow straight through his skull.
His body collapsed against the floor, his blood soaking the expensive carpet.
You stood up in haste, seeing the bloodied sight of your father, the screams deaf in your ears as your hands shivered in fright.
A hand grasped your wrist and dragged you away.
...
His heart was hurting.
"But Captain! Can't we at least torture the heir a little?" A soldier exclaimed beside him.
Itachi quickly glared at the soldier for suggesting to hurt you.
Seeing those stony eyes, the soldier broke into a cold sweat and stepped back with his head bowed down.
His leader clapped his hands to applaud him.
"Itachi Uchiha, you've served the rebellion well. Not to mention, your plan of turning the heir's marriage ceremony into a new beginning is lovely."
With his eyes down, he answered: "It is nothing but my duty."
"I agree, to kill them during the wedding..."
The comments continued, but Itachi paid no mind to it.
Because even if he were to betray you out of obligation, he did not want to see a future where you had your arms wrapped around another.
The pain in his heart never stopped.
...
Your heart beat rapidly in your chest as you pulled your wrist away from his grasp.
"Itachi, where were you all this time?!" Your voice held anger in it.
Gulping, the ravenette stood before you, unable to meet your eyes properly.
"I brought you here, away from the chaos..." He whispered softly, unable to continue his sentence, but your heart leapt.
In the end, he was your knight.
And thus, you moved forward to wrap your arms around him.
"I'm sorry I didn't trust you." You whispered against his shoulder.
Itachi clung to you desperately, his eyes squeezed shut as he thrusted the sword against your back deep enough that blood spilt down your lips.
With a heavy heart, he whispered back.
"I'm sorry you trusted me."
The sword so deep it stabbed him through his heart.
...
As the early morning approached, the news spead causing the kingdom to fall into chaos.
A young kid yelled. "Latest news about the battle that happened in the palace last night!"
The crowd gathered around the kid as he quickly sold the newspapers in his arms, his pouch of coins growing heavy until his arms were void of any paper.
The news articles had a headline.
[ THE HEIR AND THEIR KNIGHT DEAD WITH A SWORD! THEIR EMBRACE LASTING EVEN DEATH ITSELF. ]

[Name] [Last] was well-known for her beauty.
Since she was the age of ten, she was into acting and worked her way to the top as she continued to grow older.
A woman with beautiful [colour] hair and eyes that shimmered like [colour] diamonds, lips which would curl up in a smile that left everyone breathless and gestures elegant like swans floating across the stream.
[Name] was the personification of the word beauty.
And this beauty of hers was the one that led to her downfall.
...
You sat in the office with your manager discussing about your career when the contract came.
Fixing your gaze on the sheet of paper, you read every word in detail as the contract explained that a world-renowned artist named Rafayel wanted to capture you in his canvas for an exhibition.
"Do you agree to this, Ms. [Name]? It would be quite a popularity boost."
"I agree with him, it will be good for your career."
You hummed in agreement before you picked up the pen to sign.
...
First meetings are everything, as they help you form a base level of opinion about someone, which in turn leads you to wear an outfit that suits your style, staying true to your identity as a top-level celebrity.
You watched as a man with lavender hair walked in with a flowy yet elegant suit.
Getting up from your seat, you held your hand to shake it.
"Mr. Rafayel, I presume?"
"You're correct." He shook your hand, an easy smile on his face. "I'm Qi Rafayel."
"[Last] [Name]." You introduced taking your hand back.
Rafayel laughed.
"Yeah, I know. After all, I want you to be my muse."
At that time, all you could think was that the man in front of you laughed so pretty he could be a celebrity like you.
...
You walked behind him as he led you to his studio.
Seeing the mess everywhere, you blinked and showed nothing on your face, which would display your feelings of surprise at the mess.
"You have talent." You said after observing his paintings.
Rafayel's head tilted a little to face you, his lips curled into a smirk as his eyes twinkled in mischief and pride.
"Heh, of course I do."
You didn't bother replying, but you didn't think he was that arrogant either.
As a top-level actress and model, you knew you were talented, and you would never deny that fact while pretending to be humble.
"Mr. Rafayel." You called out, "What is the reason you chose me as your muse for the upcoming exhibition?"
He turned to face and with his hands moving around, he answered.
"Seriosuly? That's your question? Have you seen the way your bones are structured to give you that mesmerising look?"
Seeing you blink in confusion, he continued.
"Look at that jaw of yours - perfect for sculpting, then your eyelashes which curl up a little and show off your eyes, also..."
Your jaw dropped a little as he continued yapping and yapping.
"Do you understand now?"
"Umm yeah!"
...
"My goal? Well, I have always wanted to be the number one actress."
"Woah!" Rafayel whistled and nodded his head, his eyes meeting yours. "I'm honoured to paint the future best actress then."
You smirked.
"That future is coming soon, my dear friend."
The purple-eyed man raised an eyebrow delicately as he looked expectantly for your words.
"I'm cast in a major drama, you know?"
"Which one?"
"When Life Gives You Tangerines."
...
Slowly and steadily, the two of you became close.
The lines of friendship sometimes blurred as the two of you shared late-night talks, which were far too intimate to be considered just between close friends.
Yet, you never crossed the line.
Neither did Rafayel.
And one day you knew why.
His Miss Bodyguard.
The first time you heard of her was when you were in your vanity van across the globe, far away from him.
Where it was afternoon for you, it was midnight for him.
With a grin on your face, you had picked up the call.
"Rafayel—"
Before you could even say anything apart from his name, his sniff was heard.
And then he spoke.
"I found her..." His voice was slow.
You frowned at his tone, "Are you drunk? Who did you find?"
"..."
"Rafayel?"
"My bride..."
The call seemed to disconnect after that.
And the next day, when you returned, he had no idea that he had such a call.
The drinks affected his memory.
You kept quiet about it.
Because you had seen how he acted around people who tried to ask more about him, and after being friends with him so long, you grown to understand his expressions.
...
You met her on March 6ᵗʰ — on his birthday.
As you walked into the reserved restaurant room with a gift bag in your hands and a full disguise on, you saw him and then her.
Rafayel was stunning, an outfit matching his purple hair, which you had recommended to him.
The woman was someone you had not seen before, she was donned in a light pink dress that reached her mid-thighs, the same shade as his eyes.
Before you could even wave or smile or do anything, the woman squealed in delight.
"Omg Rafayel! When you said you were friends with the [Name], I thought you were just joking!"
"Come one cutie, I can't believe you trust me so little..."
The theatrics he played, you were far too used to them and he only used them with people he was close to.
And the nickname he called her by.
'Cutie...' Your eyes narrowed in thought.
With a picture-perfect smile, you held your hand forward.
"Hello, I am [Name]. It's a pleasure to meet someone who suffers the same fate as me."
Your sentence was the perfect mix of joke and polite, yet it was something you used to see how close the two were.
The girl in front of you clasped your hand with excitement as a grin appeared on her face.
"Hello, Miss [Name]! My name is Emcee and I've seen all your works starting from the beginning!"
You blinked at her enthusiasm before you took your hand back.
As a celebrity, you were used to such things after all.
Rafayel clapped, ending your introductions.
"Ok that's enough, come both of you, let's sit."
He stood up and helped Emcee in her seat.
Watching this, you coughed. "What a fake gentleman."
Without waiting for him to help, you sat down elegantly.
"Fake??"
Rolling your eyes, you turned to Emcee.
"How did you have the misfortune of meeting him?"
Your words were taunting and teasing, nothing too rude between friends but not polite either.
Because the purple-haired man hadn't informed you of someone else joining.
"He's my boss." Emcee scoffed.
Tilting your head and asking for more, and as you heard their story, you were sure this was the woman he called his bride that night.
Smiling bitterly, you explained how you and Rafayel knew each other.
"Ah, nothing much. He just has the luck of painting my gorgeous existence into his canvas for his exhibition." You said.
Emcee's eyes lit up. "I would definitely go there to see you."
As the dinner continued, you had concluded that you wouldn't be with Rafayel, because he already given his heart to her.
And when the night finally came to an end, the two of them headed to his car.
Before you could walk away, Emcee turned to you with a smile.
"I almost forgot to tell you, I saw your new drama. Not to mention, in there, you play two roles and that too of the main character."
She smiled so sweetly and yet the sweetness felt bitter to you.
Because all you could hear was, 'Main character in fiction, yet not one in reality.'
Despite the bitterness you felt in that moment with Emcee and Rafayel, you smiled.
A perfect one.
Because you were an actress.
...
When the news revealed you to be the muse for Rafayel's new exhibition, the internet blew up.
With a smirk, you watched yourself trend.
Nothing was more satisfying than your success.
Then you went to see the exhibition, secretly of course, because that's what celebrities had to do.
There, you saw them again together.
You bit your lip before taking a deep breath and walking away before Rafayel and Emcee could catch you.
Not that they would when the two of them were in their own world with no one to burst their bubble.
You were present in the paintings he displayed in his exhibition.
While she was carefully captured inside his heart.
A treasure that was too precious to be shared among others.
That's what she was to Rafayel.
...
You chuckled bitterly before putting on your best smile and posing for the cameras.
[Name] was and has always been a great actress.
The sentence chimed in your head.
The promotion for your drama went well, and everyone sent congratulations.
Everyone except him.
You turned off your phone and lay down on your bed.
The character you played never needed to beg for love, so why should you?
...
Rafayel may be someone in your heart, but no man was worth ruining your career, especially not someone who didn't value the way you wanted to be valued.
So when you won the best actress award during the award show, you got up to the stage with full pride.
A trophy in your hand, the one you wanted, for the role you worked so hard on, was presented to you.
Holding it, you smiled genuinely as everyone clapped.
"I told you, didn't I? I'll be the number one actress soon."

Gojo sat on a desk, his blindfold off so he could concentrate properly.
His vibrant blue eyes stared at the white page in front of him and his fingers gripped the pen in his hand tightly.
With a grin, he began to write.
[There is no beauty like you, as I stare with my eyes that are blue. The way you say my name, and I'm tangled up in your game.]
As he finished the cheesy poem, Gojo couldn't help but wonder what the look on your face would be as you read it.
Would your cheeks become warm with heat? Would you stutter out his name? Would your heart beat faster?
Just thinking about your reaction made him giggle.
...
He was once again writing for you.
This time, for a change of scenery, he was sitting on the grass and a box of chocolates beside him for the boost.
With the pen in his hand, the white-haired male decided to write again.
Gojo was so concentrated on his writing that he didn't notice Amanai sitting beside him and stealing his chocolates.
By the time he had finished his poem for you, the last piece of chocolate had already disappeared.
"Hey!" He stood up to chase after the girl who had stolen his chocolates.
The page lay on the grass.
[You are the reason for my heartbeat, from the moment you sat in your seat. Right behind me in the classroom, The beginning of my doom.]
...
"I write so well!" Gojo chimed with a cheery tone.
His practice in writing had evolved so much that he had begun to expand into more literature.
Poems filled every page of his book, all dedicated towards one person.
[Name].
Lips quirked up in a smile, he closed the book with satisfaction as the last page got filled.
[Those eyes like liquid gold, never fail to make me fold. Tell me to set the world on fire, And I'll prove to you that I'm not a liar.]
Gojo got up from the chair and cracked his back, eyes closed and head tilted up towards the soft sunlight.
"Time to buy another book."
...
Amanai found his book of poems and secretly published it.
Gojo stood there as the publisher told him he had potential for more; his eyes, which he had left uncovered, were now wide open in disbelief.
His hobby had made him so great.
"Are you serious?"
He quickly ran past everyone in the hallway and bumped into Nanami.
The blue-eyed male was about to run off when he looked back and saw the way his friend was dressed.
Gojo made a weird face causing Nanami to snap.
"Stop making that face."
"No, I won't!" He crossed his arms and circled around the shorter male. "What's with the weird get up Nanamin?"
"First of all, don't call me that." Nanami said, his voice stern yet done with everything. "Second, there's nothing wrong with what I'm wearing."
"Uhuh," Gojo said with all the sass in his body.
"You didn't answer my question!"
Nanami tried hard not to roll his eyes. "I'm going on a vacation."
The blonde didn't wait another second and started walking away without a glance at Gojo, who was jaw-slacked at the workaholic who was going to enjoy vacation.
"But where?!?"
Nanami blinked and smiled, but didn't stop walking.
But he answered Gojo's question.
"Malaysia."
...
[Everyone wants me, but you're the only one I see. Yet you ignore the letters I send, I won't let us end.]
Gojo frowned inwardly as he saw the lack of replies from you.
His book of poems had been published and had become popular, so he ended up being a poet.
The transformation from a sorcerer to a poet had been inspired by Nanami, who was enjoying his life travelling to various places.
As he signed the paper with his autograph, he looked at the hoard of girls surrounding him.
Honestly, he couldn't differentiate between them at all, everyone looked the same.
Gojo only had [Name] in his heart.
...
The white-haired man sat on the bed, looking bored.
His popularity had been too much.
Women flocked around him, and unable to hurt the weak, innocent civilians, he let himself get pushed and twisted his ankle.
Of course, his mind was full of thoughts of you.
[They say, distance makes the heart grow fonder. But every day, my thoughts can't help but wander.]
Putting down his pen and book, his head flopped back onto the pillow with a sigh.
...
"Hahhahah!"
Gojo laughed as he ran around.
His twisted ankle had healed and he felt like a free bird whose wings had grown stronger as he soared across the sky.
Looking up at the sky, Gojo grinned.
[I can compare you; To the beautiful sky. The most gorgeous hue, I see when I fly.]
...
Apparently, being happy and bragging about it was wrong because he had a relapse.
His head was messed up and he could barely string his thoughts together properly for them to make sense.
Gojo would listlessly stare outside the window sometimes.
But his hands never stopped holding the pen against the white sheet of his book, his soul pouring out his feelings regardless of how bad he was feeling.
[Sometimes, I don't even remember my name, But in my heart, there's an empty frame. My feelings for you are those of love, your name is written above.]
Gojo stared at the poem, unable to forget your face.
...
"Tch..."
Gojo groaned as he leaned his head against the palm of his hand.
The relapse had worsened his memories and he could barely remember anything.
In an attempt to ease his mind as well as his health, he decided to go on a short trip around the area.
His blue eyes saw a tall black-haired male with a scar over his lips, Gojo rolled his eyes as soon as he saw him and walked away.
Gojo walked aimlessly, humming a tune.
The very tune you hummed as you worked.
...
[If I say I don't love you, believe that it's not me. My eyes which are blue, exist only for you to see.]
"Oh! Oh! Oo oh~ Oh! Oh! Oo oh~ Oo oh!"
Gojo hummed, his head bopping up and down to the music in his mind.
His mind was a mess.
He couldn't remember many things; his memory was hazy.
The white-haired man sat down on the chair, his head tilted up and his arm hiding his eyes.
"You look like you want to say something, Suguru."
Hearing this, Geto scoffed.
"Your eyes are closed, you can't see me."
"Well, my six-eyes tell me you have something to say, so speak up!"
"..."
When Gojo heard no reply, he lifted his head and pouted at his friend.
"Seriously? I-"
His words got stuck in his throat, seeing the solemn look in Geto's eyes.
"Satoru,"
Geto spoke up.
"You'll know one day."
Gojo was taken back by the raw ache in that tone.
"Just like me."
...
"Tch."
Gojo glared at the sheet of paper and threw it against the wall in anger. The pen smacked against the wall and the ink bled.
His blue eyes stared at the black ink pooling against the white tiled floor.
"I hate this."
[̶Y̶o̶u̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶I̶,̶̶ l̶e̶t̶'̶s̶ ̶f̶l̶y̶ ̶h̶i̶g̶h̶.̶̶ M̶y̶ ̶w̶i̶n̶g̶s̶ ̶b̶l̶e̶e̶d̶ ̶r̶e̶d̶,̶̶ r̶i̶p̶p̶e̶d̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶t̶e̶a̶d̶.̶]̶
"Ughhhhhh!"
He groaned in frustration before running to grab tissues.
The tissues absorbed the black ink, but the stain remained as he frantically tried to clean the tiles; his pen lay broken a few feet away ― forgotten.
...
He blinked his eyes softly, his eyelashes fanning across his cheekbones as they moistened a little.
"Ah," Gojo chuckled helplessly.
His memory returned.
He hid his face behind his hand as a few tears slipped down his cheek and fell gently on the paper, blurring the words a little.
"I know now, Suguru."
[Even death won't keep us apart, my dear. As long as you have my heart, I have no fear.]
A tearful smile on his face.
"I just remembered that I died."

Itoshi Rin - the name of the guy you were dating.
Well, until now.
The two of you stood under the dark sky, the snow gently falling and some of it landing onto you, only to melt into nothing.
The stars above the two of you were twinkling brightly in the sky.
You were enjoying the heat inside your home during the winter holidays when you got a call from Rin stating that he wanted to talk about something important and that he was outside your house.
Without waiting for your reply, he had already cut the call.
You had been shocked to hear his voice - so cold and ruthless.
So now you stood in front of your house, the streetlight giving you illumination as you stared at the tall male in front of you who refused to look you in the eyes.
For some reason, despite the two of you standing only a few feet away, you felt that the distance between you was too much for you to even measure.
This settled a dread in your stomach.
"Rin." You called out when he kept his silence. "Why did you ask me to come out?"
Your eyes stared at his face, which still refused to face you.
His eyes looked down at the ground covered in the snow as if the snow was whispering to him and the two were having their own conversation.
Getting annoyed at being called out in the cold without any explanation, your tone changed. "Are you going to speak or not?"
When you didn't get a reply, you sighed and turned to go back inside your house, where you wouldn't feel so cold.
Before you could take a step, a gloved hand clasped your wrist.
You looked at your wrist first before looking at Rin, who had finally decided to look at you for the first time this evening.
Rin was finally looking at you, and you wished he hadn't.
His eyes were the same teal shade you loved, but they weren't warm, the ones you always looked at your reflection in.
These eyes were reflecting nothing; there was no shine in them.
"Rin..." You spoke and watched as he let go of your wrist, his body moving backwards to put distance between you.
And that's when you knew something was wrong.
You couldn't even speak your thoughts of concern — to ask him what was wrong, but before you could speak, he uttered those three words coldly.
"Let's break up."
At first, you thought you had heard wrong, but when you saw the gloomy look on his face, the one that he never had when he was with you, you realised he seriously wanted this.
"But why?"
You saw Rin clench his fists.
"I want to be the best striker in the world and you..." Rin managed to speak, but his voice was faint; you almost didn't hear it.
But you did.
And it broke your heart.
"You're in the way of my goal."
Oh, if only you could see the look on your own face.
"W-What are you talking about Rin..." Your voice stuttered, your throat felt dry and your eyes were wet.
You bit your lip as a habit —the one he knew of and the one he always stopped —but this time he did nothing but watch, which made your heart hurt even more.
"So what you're saying is I'm nothing but a distraction to you?"
He remained silent for a while before he replied, his voice firm.
"Yes."
You could hear your heart breaking into pieces, the wind seemingly felt colder around you and your knees felt weak, but you refused to let him see you vulnerable.
Swallowing your heartbreak and pride, you gritted.
"Fine then."
You quickly turned and walked away before he could see those tears pooling in your eyes, those salty tears you refused to let go of, to allow them to drip down your cheeks and onto the ground.
Because you were stubborn.
As well as prideful.
And as your feet stepped against the pathway of your house, all you could think of was how the cold weather was warmer than the pain in your heart.
...
Time didn't stop that night; it kept moving.
"Because time waits for no one." You bitterly scoffed.
Standing in your room, in front of the mirror, you fixed your tie.
Today was the day school would begin once again after the holidays.
The weather became tamer, yet you still put on a jacket over your uniform, your cheeks felt cold as ice.
Your fingers lifted a white tube and you applied a generous amount of lip balm.
The habit of putting on lip balm every day had been constant; your mother had noticed how badly your lips were getting chapped and the way they would bleed, hence she bought you some.
You looked at the small container in your hands as your jaw clenched.
This new habit of applying lip balm — all because someone broke up with you.
"At least it's a good habit." You muttered to yourself as you placed the container back in its original position.
...
A few months passed by like nothing.
You started coming out of your shell again, the break-up started to weigh on your mind less and less, and soon you stopped crying over a guy who broke your heart on that cold winter night.
As you waited for your friend in front of their class, you noticed a glimpse of a familiar guy walking.
Your shoulders tensed a little as you leaned against the wall and you accidentally tightened the grip you had on your phone.
But you refused to acknowledge this, you refused to acknowledge him.
And when Rin walked past you like you were nothing.
You too acted like he was nothing.
Because you were good at pretending.
...
You were seated in front of a canvas when you heard the news.
The brush glided across the white background with steady hands, the practice of years paying off.
You dipped the paint brush into the drop of green you had on the palette and before your brush could touch the canvas, someone burst into the art room.
"Guys!" The girl burst in and huffed.
Judging from the way she was leaning against the door and taking deep breaths, she must have run all the way here.
"Remember Itoshi Rin?"
Your hand lost control and the brush slipped a little, making it glide against the canvas and ruining the painting.
You paused.
"You know why Itoshi hasn't been coming to school for a while, right? Apparently, it's cause he joined a soccer program!"
"No way! That guy is an elite, alright."
"There's more! They are competing with the U-20 and—"
After that, the conversation just buzzed out in your head.
Your eyes stared blankly at the splash of green on your canvas, your light grip on the brush in your hands and the memories flashing in your mind.
Green, so similar to his eyes.
Your hand glided over the canvas mechanically to remove the mistake you had just made.
The green stared mockingly into your eyes.
Perhaps it was reminding you that paintings often reflected reality.
...
Rin believed that he had done the correct thing for his career.
To get rid of all distractions getting in the way.
That meant breaking up with [Name], whom he was dating.
And it turns out he wasn't as heartless as he thought he was, because if he was, why would his heart ache every time he heard any word similar to their name?
His body worked like an automatic robot, doing the tasks mechanically that were input into his system.
He didn't feel like a human.
As he walked out of his class with a deep frown on his face, everyone avoided him, which led him to see you.
You, who were leaning against the wall, your attention on your phone and a slight smile on your face.
The sight of you caused him to panic and almost flee away.
He immediately looked away, refusing to see your figure and questioning the heart in his ribcage, beating rapidly as if trying to escape and go back in your grasp.
But he was the one who initiated the end of your relationship, and giving in would hurt his pride.
Steeling his eyes, he walked past you without a glance.
Because he was prideful.
And he refused to lose.
...
He lost.
To Isagi Yoichi.
And when he glanced at the cheering audience, he realised he had no one who would be cheering for him.
Not for the real him anyway.
Clenching his fists, he ignored everyone in his way and went inside.
He wondered if you cheered for him.
But he had long lost you.
...
Rin entered his school with an outfit that blended so he wouldn't be recognised, and with the way he was walking, no one bothered him.
His feet took him to the hall where the art exhibition was going to take place.
The place was well-lit up and various paintings were displayed across the white walls.
His feet took him to a specific destination as if he himself was the one who organised all these paintings.
But it was easy to know where he wanted to go.
To see your painting.
And it was easy to spot yours, the one which attracted him the most, because you were the best.
As he had expected, your painting had been recognised as the best; you were just that talented, there was no surprise in his mind, only admiration.
His teal eyes stared at the painting, then his finger hovered over the glass that encased your painting.
Rin stood closer in a daze as he saw your familiar signature; his finger traced the lines and curves of your name, wanting to engrave them in his mind.
Look at the shade of [eye colour] in the painting, he made up his mind.
...
The two of you were once again standing under the street light right outside your house.
There was no snow around you this time; the cold had melted away just like the frost in your heart.
Rin stared at you this time.
"What did you want to talk about?" You asked.
Taking a deep breath, he stood closer trying to bridge the gap between the two of you which he himself had created.
"Please [Name]."
Rin pleaded.
"Please take me back."

➷ THE TASTE OF LOVE
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 mikage reo x f!reader
Reo Mikage knew the concept of marriage.
He also knew the concept of arranged marriages and how they were usually decided when children were young.
Fixing his tie, he looked in the mirror.
At the age of 16, his marriage had already been decided.
And he was about to meet his future wife in an hour.
"Reo, we have decided it's time for you to think about your future." His dad said.
The fork stopped before his mouth as he found himself asking.
"What do you mean dad?"
His mom took over as she wiped the corner of her mouth with a tissue.
"Dear, one of the shareholders of our company has a daughter the same age as you." His mom answered. "We thought of matchmaking the two of you."
"What do you think?"
With a serene smile, Reo nodded.
Reo couldn't help but feel a bit nervous, he tucked back the hair falling on his face as he sat in a car seat.
Walking inside a restaurant with tense shoulders, the purple-haired male maintained a smile.
He followed his parents inside and watched with shrew eyes as they greeted a couple with happiness.
His violet eyes turned to the girl the same age as him who was standing beside her parents.
His future wife.
She turned to face him and he was awestruck.
Reo had never met someone so utterly breathtaking in his life.
Her [h/c] were styled with multiple small hairpins in the shade of [colour] that matched her outfit.
He could see the hint of a glittery eyeshadow which brought out her [e/c] eyes and a nice shade of lipstick.
All he could say was, she didn't have a face card but a face economy.
Snapping or of his stupor, he took her hand in his and placed a soft kiss over it.
"Hello, I'm Mikage Reo." He introduced himself as he let go of her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet someone as lovely as you."
"You're too kind, Mikage Reo-san." The girl laughed prettily, "I'm [Last Name] [Name]."
The dinner was more of a formality for their parents as they charged with each other.
"Why don't you two go to the balcony and talk to each other?"
Nodding to their parents, Reo guided [Name] out as she placed a hand on his elbow.
Gazing at the stars and the moon, they chatted.
Reo and [Name] got along with each other quite well and their conversation went smoothly.
It was silent for a while as they both stood next to each other watching the stars and that was when a thought popped into his mind.
"Say, [Name]." Reo began.
"Hm?"
"Why did you agree to this marriage?" He asked.
[Name] turned to face him as she answered: "I'll be honest, I've seen my friends date and I'm just too lazy to do all of that,"
"So you're skipping directly to marriage?" Reo chuckled humorously at her answer.
"Yes, I'm skipping directly to marriage." [Name] grinned at him.
For the first time in forever, Reo felt like he could breathe freely.
After that night, [Name] had been cheerfully interacting with him meaning she also felt positive about him.
Reo happily reciprocated her gestures and they met whenever they could.
However, as someone born with a golden spoon and served everything on a platter, Reo was greedy.
Greedy for more and he wanted more of [Name]'s presence.
"Seriously why don't you just transfer to Hakuho?" Reo asked, his head pressed against his pillow as he held the laptop over his lap.
He was face timing [Name], it had become their routine to do this every night and tell each other trivial things that had happened during their day.
[Name] rolled her eyes with an amused smile.
"I like my school, Reo." She pushed back the glasses sitting on the bridge of her nose. "And my best friend is also here."
Reo sulked a little at the answer.
"So your best friend is more important than me?"
"Well isn't there a saying, bros before hoes?" [Name] said.
Her reply made Reo immediately lift his head, his bangs flew with the sudden moment as he gripped the screen of his laptop with his hands.
"What hoe??" He sounded flabbergasted. "I'm your husband!"
"Future husband." [Name] corrected.
Reo flopped back on his pillow as he replied: "Do you have to say that and ruin my mood?"
"Yes." [Name] laughed.
"Aish..." Reo sighed like a maiden looking out of the window and waiting for her husband to return from a brutal war.
"She's so beautiful." He said, his eyes fixed on his phone.
Reo had been busy staring at his home screen which was a picture of him and his future wife.
He inwardly giggled at the thought of his marriage with [Name], how gorgeous she would look and how they would live together every day.
Then he wouldn't have to do a daily countdown on how many days it would be before he met again.
"Hm sure." Nagi's offhanded remark brought him back to reality, away from his delusional mind. "You're so obsessed."
Thrusting the phone before Nagi's face, Reo exclaimed with a huge smile as his eyes sparkled.
"You don't get it, Nagi! She's so omg!" His tongue couldn't keep up with his speedy thoughts.
Nagi didn't bother glancing away from his game and replied: "Yeah I don't."
Taking back his phone, he stared at their picture again with a dopey smile. His feet kicked in the air as he sat beside his friend.
The air was gloomy around Reo.
The chirping of the birds which he always found charming was annoying today, the flowers smelled too strong, the sun was too bright that he wanted it to be gone and the sky was too bright for a gloomy day.
As the purple-haired male walked, everyone avoided his way.
It wasn't natural since every day all the students would greet him happily with smiles on their faces.
But today was different.
There were eyebags under Reo's eyes, which were dark, and his lips were twisted into a frown.
His feet felt heavy but nonetheless, he dragged himself in the direction of his glass.
A girl stood in front of him with a blush and Reo couldn't help but get irritated with being blocked.
"What." Reo couldn't help but sneer.
"I... Umm-" The girl stuttered and Reo couldn't manage his emotions well, so his face twisted into a grimace.
Without waiting for her to finish what she wanted to say, he sidestepped her and walked to his class.
As soon as he reached his seat, he flopped down without much grace, and his head hit the desk.
"What's wrong?" He heard Nagi ask, and Reo couldn't hold back the groan that escaped his mouth.
"Nothing."
"Hm ok."
Immediately, he lifted his head to glare at his friend and kicked him.
"Ouch."
"You deserve it for showing me no sympathy." Reo said without an ounce of guilt.
"Fine tell me," Nagi said.
In an instant, the glare on Reo's face was replaced by a look filled with sorrow.
Before he could vent, Nagi decided to strike again.
"Oh, did [Name] break up with you?"
A kick was delivered again by the violet-eyed male.
"Akh!" Nagi blinked his eyes in pain.
"My dear [Name] didn't answer my call last night."
"That's it?"
"That's it?!?" Reo glared at Nagi again. "[Name] and I follow our routine by heart yet yesterday she skipped our daily face call. Maybe she doesn't love me anymore? Did she find a better guy at her school? Or did her best friend say that I'm not good enough for her? Maybe she thinks I'm not that good..."
Reo rambled off making the white-haired male sitting beside him zone out.
"Why don't you just ask her this?"
Reo's eyes widened and he nodded his head with determination.
Getting up from his seat, he lifted his bag to his shoulders.
"Bye Nagi! Thanks for the idea!"
Reo nervously stood in the living room of the house of his dear [Name], a bouquet of [flower] in his right hand and a gift bag in his left hand.
"Reo?" Hearing this, he gripped the bouquet tightly in his hand.
Before [Name] could say anything, Reo bent down to his waist as he held the bouquet and gift bag in front of the [e/c] eyed female.
"Huh?" A confused noise left her as she held the gifts in her arms.
"I'm sorry." Reo apologized, his tone serious.
"For what?" [Name] asked.
Reo licked his lips nervously before replying, "Whatever I did, I know I was wrong, so I'm sorry."
Putting down her gifts, [Name] replied. "Reo, you did nothing wrong. Why are you apologizing?"
"I definitely did something."
"No, you didn't."
"Then why did you not pick up my call yesterday?" Reo asked with an upset look.
Hearing this, [Name] held Reo's hands in her own as she answered.
"Did you forget that I was on a flight?"
"Oh-" Reo blinked, "Oh."
[Name] smiled at him.
"Haha..." Reo laughed in relief. "Alright, that's great then."
Then embarrassment flooded him at how he acted and he definitely looked uncool.
"Then I'll leave-"
[Name] stopped him before he could run away and placed her hand on his cheek.
Leaning closer, she pressed her lips to his and pulled away.
"Thank you for the bouquet and gifts, Reo." She smiled sweetly.
So sweetly that Reo moved before he could think and grabbed her jaw so they could get to kiss again.
"You're welcome, [Name]."

Nagi held the phone in his hands as the blue light from the screen reflected on his face.
Since he was bored and genshin impact events were already finished by him, he decided it was finally time to play TCG.
[inspired by my tcg obsessed bff]
Scratching his white hair, he selected his deck before agreeing to the duel request.
His grey eyes took notice of the nickname set by the other person.
[GOJOCOMEBACK2025]
"Wow, this guy's delusional..." He mumbled to himself.
The TCG match started and soon he found himself losing.
His jaw dropped as he watched the opponent deal with cards with such expertise that he felt fascinated.
The deck he was using included Kujiu Sara, Dvalin and Sigewinne.
While his opponent was using Rosaria, Yunjin and Shenhe.
The duel started in his favour.
With him taking every chance presented and decreasing the HP of the opponent's card.
His Sigewinne was down while Kujou Sara was at 9 HP and Dvalin was at 7 HP.
His opponent's two cards were down with only Yunjin remaining, her HP at a mere one.
Perhaps that's why he got cocky.
And that was his downfall.
He gripped his phone tightly in his hand as he watched Yunjin attack his Dvalin and make him lose the card.
And then it attacked Kujou Sara.
He lost.
Nagi didn't want to believe but he was defeated.
He couldn't get the duel out of his mind, so after a few minutes, he sent a friend request to the person and waited for it to be accepted.
As soon as his friend request was accepted, he opened the chat option.
His finger glided on his phone's keyboard at a slow pace and finally hit enter.
[AETHER]

Nagi blinked before he lightly chuckled in amusement, his fingers forming another message and sending it.

He lost again.
Nagi lost the match again.
He didn't want to brag because bragging was too much of a hassle, but games had always been his forte, and no one had given him such a tough time.
Perhaps this was the start of his downfall?
Every day the guy and Nagi played against each other, and every day, he lost.
He used different characters, different decisions, and different strategies, yet he couldn't win against the guy.
[GOJOCOMEBACK2025]
Bruhh
Why are you so obsessed with beating me
Just give up
[AETHER]
No
[Keqing's 'I refuse ' emote]
"I don't get why you're so obsessed with this guy Nagi," Reo said as he sat beside the tall male who was busy sulking while staring at his phone.
"You don't get it, Reo," Nagi replied.
Every day at a set time, Nagi and the guy named [GOJOCOMEBACK2025] would play TCG together, and he would lose.
"No matter what I do I can't beat this guy in TCG."
"So?" Reo raised an eyebrow, "It's not like you like playing that card game,"
"Mhm."
"You said it was a hassle because it didn't give any piano gems or whatever," Reo said, his purple eyes looking around the classroom which was empty apart from the two.
"Primogems." Nagi corrected the other, but his focus was still on the game.
Reo rolled his eyes, "Yeah whatever."
The white-haired male went silent, but his eyes soon lit up, making Reo tilt his head to face him fully.
"What happened?"
"He's finally online." Nagi said, his fingers pressing onto the keyboard at high speed, leaving his purple-haired friend in a daze.
"Holy shit." Reo cursed. "You're definitely obsessed with how fast you're replying to the guy. Especially with so many emojis."
"Not obsessed." Nagi defended himself but the evidence was against him.
Every day he made time to play against the guy, he would then talk with the guy because their interests were so similar and then annoy Reo about the said guy.
"Whatever you say~" Reo replied with a teasing grin. "Let's go, our next lecture is Music."
Nagi groaned softly but managed to walk out of his class, his full focus was on his phone as he played the duel.
Just then he bumped into someone.
"My bad." The guy said.
Neither of them was paying attention to the feature surroundings, being too busy on their phone, so it's not like it was only one person's fault.
As both of them clashed, their phones dropped on the ground.
"Mhm sorry..." Nagi said, ignoring Reo's fussing and bent down to pick up his phone.
Except he picked up the wrong phone.
A duel was on the screen.
TCG battle.
"What the..." The guy with [h/c] said, "You're the guy obsessed with beating me!?"
Nagi's grey eyes met [e/c] eyes which were staring back at them.
"Shit, I'll be late!" The guy cursed as he quickly took his phone.
"Wait!" Nagi raised his voice, probably for the first time in forever.
The guy whose name Nagi didn't even know said without looking back.
"If you want to talk, meet me at the school gates after classes, bye!"
A light breeze blew as Nagi stood there, only to snap of his thoughts due to Reo.
"Sorry, I'm late!"
Nagi, who was leaning against the pillar, looked towards the figure running towards him.
"Anyways, I'm [Name], in class 3A."
Looking at the hands stretched in front of him, Nagi held it.
"Hello [Name]-senpai,"
Ever since that day Nagi and [Name] were inseparable, always glued to each other and their phones.
"Please please please!" [Name] pleaded to the white-haired male who was looking away from him.
"[Name]-senpai, what do you want Nagi to do?" Reo asked with an amused smile.
[Name] looked at the purple-haired male with a pitiful look.
"Explain to him Reo!" He said. "All I'm asking Nagi is to partner with me for the cosplay competition, my vision is telling me we'll win!"
"No." Nagi refused bluntly making [Name] whine.
"Why do you want to win so bad?" Reo sat next to the two and questioned.
[Name] opened his phone and passed it to Reo.
"Look, the first prize!" [Name] said with an excited tone. "It's-"
Reo nodded looking at the prize list.
"Then why do I have to cosplay with you...?" Nagi flopped on his back.
Laying next to the white-haired male, [Name] answered: "Because you're perfect to be my partner!"
Reo watched with a smirk as a blush bloomed on Nagi's face who hid it immediately by facing away.
"Oh? Perfect?" Reo grinned, "Why is that [Name]-senpai?"
"I'm displaying as Geto, so I need him to be my Gojo!"
Humming a little, Reo replied.
"I see why you want Nagi."
"Right?!!"
Nagi brushed his hair back and groaned.
His thoughts were jumbled.
On one side, cosplaying was too much of a hassle.
But on the other side, being his senpai's perfect partner was just too much of an attractive offer to refuse.
"Fine, I'll do it."
"I hate this." Nagi said to Reo, who was fixing and doing final touch-ups to his cosplay.
There was no need for a wig since his hair was already white, although he was forced to put on blue contact lenses because Reo was too stubborn and Nagi was too lazy to argue with the perfectionist.
"There done!" Reo said after stepping back and looking at Nagi.
"Finally," Nagi cheered weakly.
He was already exhausted, and the competition hadn't even started yet.
"Oh here comes [Name]-senpai!" Reo exclaimed with awe. "Wow you're cosplay's so good!"
Hearing the compliment, [Name] smiled.
"Mhm, thank you so much Reo."
Nagi pouted at the lack of attention; after all, it was he who was partnering with his senpai, not Reo.
Noticing the pout and knowing Nagi's need for attention, [Name]'s smile grew wider as he ruffled the tuff of white hair.
"Since you're helping me, I'll give you a reward~"
Nagi blinked once and then twice.
"Then can I ask for something?"
"Sure," [Name] nodded.
Nagi clenched his fist before answering.
"A hug."
"Huh?"
"I want a hug." Nagi repeated with a bashful look causing [Name] to be charmed instantly.
"Sure," [Name] agreed before dragging Nagi away and waving Reo goodbye.
"Anything for my perfect partner, Seishiro~"
Nagi smiled a little.
"Yeah." His grey eyes couldn't stop staring at [Name] who was busy smiling at others and seeing everyone off their feet with his smile.
"I'm your perfect partner, [Name]-senpai."
➷ WORDS SWORN IN DESTINY
𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 𝐒𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐍 𝐈𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐘 isagi yoichi x f!reader
"When I become the number one striker, I'll ask you to marry me!"
Isagi and [Name] were childhood friends.
The reason their friendship started was because they lived next to each other.
The doll [Name] was playing with got kicked by a ball which came rolling in her direction.
Angry tears spilled down her cheeks as she glared at the boy who was running towards her in panic.
Her hands took hold of the ball and threw it at the boys head with as much strength she could muster.
He started crying as well.
Two children who cried together, because of each other.
"Yoichi!" [Name] called out to her friend who she met two weeks ago.
A head with a tiny sprout popped behind the door and a grin took place on his face.
"Come let's play!"
Isagi grinned and nodded before he ran towards [Name].
"Goal!" [Name] cheered out.
Isagi stared at the girl who was cheering for him.
They were in middle school now.
The blue-eyed male had become an ace striker of the team and had always been good with the sport he had been obsessed with.
As Isagi grabbed his school bag and sports bag, he sped up towards the school gates where he knew [Name] was waiting for him.
"[Name]!" He called out and watched with flushed cheeks as the girl turned to smile at him.
The girl with beautiful [h/c] hair that reached down to her [body part], eyes with a beautiful shade of [e/c] and those lips which curled up in a pretty smile.
Isagi jogged towards her as she adjusted the strap of her bag on her shoulders.
"Sorry for making you wait." He said.
[Name] replied: "It's nothing, after all, I have to cheer for the future superstar right?"
Isagi looked bashful as he rubbed the back of his head.
"You're just saying that..."
"No way!" [Name] defended as the two walked together home, like always. "I say it because I know how good you are!"
"So do you think I could win the World Cup?" Isagi asked, his eyes staring at the world's most wonderful creation with softness because he was in love.
[Name] tilted her head and smirked, "World Cup? Sure, but I think you're going to be the world's number one striker."
Blinking his eyes, Isagi grinned: "Really?"
"Well you're already number one in my heart so..." [Name] nodded, her eyelashes fanning on her cheeks and her tone a little soft, a little shy.
Everything about her made Isagi fall deeper into love.
Isagi suddenly sped up to stand in front of her.
He held her hand in his and placed a kiss on her knuckle.
"Well, I promise you this,"
The sun started setting between them casting a beautiful glow on their figures as Isagi said with a confident tone.
"When I become the number one striker, I'll ask you to marry me!"
[Name]'s eyes widened as she heard those words before she laughed.
"Sure then," She stood close and stared into his eyes. "I'll marry you."
Isagi laughed as well, their feet moving towards their destination as they talked.
The hand that Isagi held, he didn't let go and [Name] interlocked them.
Two teenagers who laughed together, because of each other.
"Good luck, Yoichi." [Name] waved at Isagi.
A recommendation letter to join a program called Blue Lock and Isagi yoichi was settled, right after he lost his ticket to the nationals.
"I'll come back soon." Isagi replied with a hesitant smile as he waved back.
The green scarf that [Name] had gifted him was wrapped around his neck, tugging on it, warmth bloomed in his heart.
He wasn't back soon.
But that was ok.
Because Isagi was chasing his dreams and [Name] had promised that she would support him forever.
Isagi's parents invited [Name] to the Blue Lock versus Japan's U20 match.
Her eyes locked onto Isagi's figure as soon as he entered the field, a smile on her face as she felt pride on his behalf, he had come so far after all.
[Name] cheered as loudly as she could, her palms stinging with how hard she was clapping them and her throat a little sore.
But it didn't matter.
Because Isagi had just scored the final goal.
And [Name] had promised to support him forever.
Isagi panicked as he watched the time on his watch.
"Sorry guys, I have to meet up with someone!" He apologized to his teammates from Blue Lock as he rushed out of the arcade in a hurry.
His legs pumped with energy as he ran towards the spot where he was meeting up with his girlfriend.
Blue eyes immediately saw the figure of his beautiful girlfriend and he marched towards her.
[Name] sat on the bench near the park where they agreed to meet, her eyes taking in the sun setting.
"Sorry for making you wait." He said.
[Name] replied with her usual grin: "It's nothing, after all, I have to cheer for the future superstar right?"
Isagi smiled as they headed to the restaurant they were planning to have dinner at, their hands interlocked with each other as they walked.
"Hey Isagi!"
The two turned to face a guy who [Name] recognized as his former teammate. Isagi smiled happily at the guy as they began to converse.
"You're seriously lucky though," Tada said with his hands stretched and [Name]'s head snapped towards the guy who was yapping nonsense because he had zero skills.
She watched with a frown as a shadow cast over her boyfriend's eyes as he laughed a fake one. "Ha ha, you might be right..." He said.
[Name] couldn't watch anymore so she turned to face Tada with a smile.
"I also recognize you," She said and Isagi watched with knowing eyes, he knew that smile, the smile that took over [Name]'s face before she insulted someone with grace.
"You missed such an easy goal and that's why your team couldn't go to nationals right?"
"Umm what-" Tada stuttered making [Name] smile a little wider and a little sweeter.
Isagi didn't bother stopping her, he knew she wouldn't listen.
Besides, it was sweet to be defended.
"Talking about luck? You couldn't even get selected in the Blue Lock program because your skills were so low." [Name] sneered. "You think you could've scored? Don't be so obtuse and assume you could, because you're not as good as Yoichi."
Tada's face was red due to embarrassment, "Hey Isagi tell your girlfriend to-"
Before he could finish Isagi's eyes flashed as he stood in front of [Name].
"To what Tada-chan?" He asked. "She's right, do me a favour and leave, or else I'll give you a reason to quit football, you pathetic freak."
Tada ran away and [Name] rolled her eyes.
"Aren't you glad I spoke?" She said.
Isagi simply smiled as he began walking with her.
Slursagi got his slur queen fr
It was the World Cup.
[Name] stood in the bleachers wearing the number 11 on her back as she cheered loudly alongside her as well as Isagi's parents.
Isagi had always fulfilled whatever promise he made to [Name].
Because he was in love.
Because he couldn't bear to see her sad.
Because he valued her.
So, he went ahead and scored.
He won the World Cup.
Isagi Yoichi was now the number one striker in the world.
Because he loved soccer, because he made a promise.
"When I become the number one striker,
Isagi grinned at [Name] with such happiness that she couldn't help but feel blood rush to her cheeks as she jumped.
Holding the trophy, he spoke for his interview and as soon as he was done, he went towards her.
[Name] watched as he held her hand as he asked.
I'll ask you to marry me!"
Isagi smiled because he was in love.
[Name] smiled because she was in love.
Two adults who smiled together, because of each other.
"I love you."
Isagi Yoichi and [Last Name].
Two individuals who learned love together.
Because of each other.
"I love you too."
fuck i cringed at this shit now that im seeing it again
➷ THOSE STITCHES OF AFFECTION
𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 itoshi rin x gn!reader
Rin had zero interests in life apart from soccer and beating his brother.
That was how it was supposed to be.
Things aren't always what we want in life anyway.
That's why he was surprised when a person like [Name] appeared in his life.
Rin first met [Name] in high school.
You weren't paying attention to where you were going and bumped into a tall guy.
"I'm sor-" Before you could finish your sentence, the tall guy scoffed out loud.
"Watch where you walk, tepid."
He walked off like nothing happened which left you boiling in anger.
You watched with an annoyed look.
You looked at the sheet pinned on the board to check out the seating arrangement.
Your [e/c] eyes read every word as you searched up the initial of your surname.
'[S]... [S]...'
'[S]!' You immediately read where your seat was and saw your seatmate's name.
"Itoshi Rin?" You murmured.
'Obito come get your Rin.'
Snickering to yourself, you went towards your seat and sat down, taking out your phone and watching edits of the hot character you've been simping for.
When you heard a noise, you looked to your side to greet the person who would be your seatmate only to see that rude tall guy from before.
"You." Gritting your teeth, you spoke.
Rolling his eyes, Rin didn't bother replying.
A month had passed and the two of you couldn't see eye to eye at all.
You felt proud whenever you beat his scores on tests or anything really.
Did Itoshi Rin think he was the only prodigy around?
"And first place as expected by [L/N] [Name]!" The teacher smiled at you as you got up from your seat to collect the test papers.
Smirking haughtily, you sat beside your dear seatmate who was busy glaring at his scores as though they had wronged him.
You leaned closer to peep at his scores.
"Aww, only 86?" You grinned and watched with fascination as those teal eyes turned to glare at you.
Fluttering your eyelashes, you waved your test papers in front of his face.
"I got full marks... Again," You continued taunting. "Want me to help you study?"
Your grin widened when Rin glared even more angrily as his veins popped on his forehead.
"And Itoshi holds the fastest record for the 100-metre race!"
As soon as the announcement was done, the first thing Rin did was walk towards you.
"I'm the fastest." He said crossing his arms.
Oh but if he thought that was going to anger you and get a reaction out of you, he was dead wrong.
You flashed him a gorgeous smile and replied: "Of course, if you couldn't run fast with those long legs, you would truly be pathetic wouldn't you be, dear Rin-chan?"
Seeing his glare, you smiled again before walking off.
"What the fuck." You and Rin said at the same time.
Your amazing teacher gave everyone in the class a very nice friendship-bonding activity.
And that was to compliment one thing about your seatmate, in front of everyone.
Your eye twitched in annoyance as you waited for your turn.
Rin decided that even standing up before you was a competition and threw a smug look your way.
"[Name]'s smart." Rin answered.
You politely smiled even though you wanted to shoot him in the head.
"He's tall I guess." You said.
You ignored Rin who was glowering at you intensely.
You packed your books in your bag when a shadow of a figure loomed over your desk.
Your [e/c] eyes glanced to the side and saw Rin standing with his back straight and shoulders all squared up.
"Are you alpha posturing?" You asked as your fingers pulled your bag's zipper.
"What no." Rin clicked his tongue, "You said I was tall."
You chuckled sarcastically. "Congratulations on having functioning ears, Rin-chan."
"Tch," Rin rolled his eyes before asking. "So you think my height is the only thing worth complimenting me about?"
This time you properly looked at him.
He had seen an intense look on his face, the one you've seen multiple times.
"Why do you care?"
"... Curious." He looked away as he replied.
You titled your head and then circled around him, your eyes taking in his tense form with smugness.
"Hmm..." You mused. "Well, you're quite handsome."
As soon as he turned his head to face you, you continued: "I guess."
You smirked at him.
"[Name]."
You turned to face who called your name.
It was Itoshi Rin.
Well wasn't this surprising?
He had always called you lukewarm and whatnot, so it was surprising to hear him utter your name.
Raising your eyebrow, you didn't bother hiding your curiosity.
"Rin-chan,"
His eye ticked at the way his name was said but he didn't bother saying anything about it.
"What do you want?" You demanded.
Rin was silent for a while as you stood in front of him with a bored look.
"If you aren't going to say anything then I'll leave."
As soon as you turned to walk away, he gripped your wrist.
"Wait."
You looked at him and he took a deep breath before he spoke.
"Let's end our rivalry."
"Huh?" You let out a confused noise hearing such words.
Was it really Itoshi Rin speaking? The one who made even standing and leaving the class before you a competition.
"Imposter." You blurted out. "You're an imposter."
"Are you dumb?" He immediately retorted making you sigh.
"Nevermind you're the real one."
You removed your wrist from his grasp. "But aren't you being hypocritical calling me dumb?"
"After all, you complimented me by calling me smart a few days ago."
You noticed the tips of his ears turning red so you continued.
"In front of the whole class might I add."
And with delight you watched him flush a beautiful red.
"S-Shut up!"
"Anyways, to end our rivalry we need a winner." You replied.
"Then let's decide one." Rin's response was quick.
"Then I have the perfect place to decide the winner." You closed your eyes as you sighed
"Here?" Rin asked.
You nodded and entered the arcade.
"That's a teddy bear in case you didn't know." You pointed with your finger and despite the civil tone you were using, you didn't miss the opportunity to taunt him.
"Whoever manages to win the teddy bear first, is the winner."
The final match-up.
Between you and Rin.
Rin narrowed his eyes in concentration, his tongue peeking out of his mouth.
You were as concentrated as him, with your eyebrows furrowed and lips pressed tight.
The teddy bear fell down as you used your toy gun to hit it.
Grinning to yourself, you exclaimed.
"That makes me the winner and you the loser, Rin-chan!" You said showing off the teddy in your hands.
Rin lost.
[Name] was the winner while he was the loser.
But was he truly the loser when he saw that bright smile on your face?
Rin replied with a dazed look.
"Mhm, I admit defeat."
➷ OF THE SWEET DESIRES
𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐒 otoya eita x f!reader
Otoya got all the girls, that was something that had been engraved in his mind since he was in elementary.
He had this motto - 'don't chase, just attract.'
Chasing after girls? He didn't need to do something like this.
And well with this came breaking hearts.
Otoya stood with his hands in his pockets as he stared at the girl pouring her heart out for him.
"Sorry, but let's break up." He bluntly said.
"What?"
His mind couldn't keep up with any of the words the girl was saying to him.
Why?
Because he had just seen the most gorgeous girl to ever exist.
With those [h/c] hair that went down to her waist (before anyone comes at me, I have long hair, I love long hair, my life my rules-), she had a beautiful hair clip.
Otoya could only gale at the beauty that was walking in his direction.
She glanced at them, a judgemental look on her face and that's when he saw the beautiful shade of [e/c] in those eyes.
Rolling her eyes, she walked away and all Otoya could do was state at her with his mouth open.
"Holy crap, whos that?" Otoya whispered to his friend.
"Hm? Oh, her!" The guy answered. "That's [Last Name] [Name], the scholarship student on a student exchange program."
"[Name]..." Otoya said to himself with a dreamy look in his eyes.
After a week, they formally met again.
And it was all because he was lucky to be chosen to be her partner for their project.
The white-haired male giggled inwardly as he looked into the mirror to perfect his looks before he could meet [Name] at the school library to begin their project research.
Nodding to himself, Otoya walked out of the bathroom and moved towards the direction of the school library.
"You're late." [Name] said without looking away from the book that she held in her grasp.
Otoya sat in front of her and mustered a charming smile that had never failed.
"I'm sorry, dear [Name]." He replied. "I was held up you know? By all the girls?"
His charming smile failed for the first time.
Because [Name] didn't even bother sparing him a glance.
"Open that blue book in front of you and note down all the important points on my laptop." [Name] instructed as she turned the laptop to face the white-haired male.
Otoya blinked as he stared at the laptop and the book he was supposed to read, his green eyes looking at the beauty with [e/c] eyes who was busy and hadn't looked even once at him.
"Sure..." He replied hesitantly.
It had been a few weeks since they had been working together to complete their project and Otoya had made zero progress with wooing his beloved who stole his heart.
He had tried his best but couldn't thaw [Name]'s cold heart but he was nothing but a determined man on a mission.
"Hey!" Otoya called out to [Name] who was walking with earphones which resulted in her not being able to hear him.
In a hurry, he jogged towards the girl and stood in front of her so she would notice him.
[Name] removed the earphone for one ear as she raised an eyebrow at the white-haired male who was standing in front of her with what seemed a confident look.
"What is it?"
Otoya chuckled nervously as he spoke.
"So umm..."
He gulped and when he looked into those [e/c] eyes, he was blinded by a lethal face cad making him look away instantly.
"Do you want to go on a date?"
"No."
The immediate refusal stunned Otoya and he turned to face [Name] who blankly stared at him.
"Eh, why?" He asked causing [Name] to roll her eyes at him. "Aren't you a playboy? Why would I go on a date with you?"
Otoya gaped as the moon to his night, the love of his life, the girl of his dream, his dearest [Name] walked away without glancing at him.
He clutched his chest as he stared into nothing like a male lead of a drama going through some serious issues.
"My past..." He spoke dramatically as the wind chose to blow his white hair as he started his words. "Is catching up to me."
Since Plan A - asking [Name] on a date didn't work, he decided to work on Plan B.
And that was getting rid of his playboy habits so he could show [Name] that he was a changed man.
Thankfully for Otoya, [Name] made no move of bringing back his failed attempt at asking her on a date so he was relieved and thankful, especially since they still met and worked together on their project.
Now how would he show [Name] that he was a changed man? Well, it was simple.
Otoya stopped flirting with everyone to show his crush that he was serious and distanced himself from pretty much everyone, including boys, because who knew if he had accidentally charmed a guy with his dashing looks and personality?
Getting asked out by a girl?
Sorry, miss who I don't know, I'm quite busy. Busy with what you ask? Wooing the girl of his dreams.
Someone getting close to him?
Sorry, miss who I don't like, I have an allergic reaction to anyone apart from [Name] coming close to me.
Getting winked at by someone?
Sorry, miss who are you again, I feel disgusted because I saw your eyes and they weren't those beautiful [e/c] eyes that he had been dreaming of.
The next part of his plan was to make sure [Name] would see him and realise that everyone was shit compared to him.
Otoya had dramatically and in the very fashion of him had declared that the one in his heart was [Name] and everyone getting close to her was his rival.
A guy was sitting next to you during class?
He was keeping his eyes on the ugly guy to make sure he wasn't making moves and by keeping eyes it meant straight-up glaring at the guy's head.
A girl wanting your notes?
He made sure to sneakily glance at them because his dear [Name] was absolutely amazing that regardless of gender everyone couldn't help but fall for her.
A dog asking for a treat?
Wait-
Did dogs ever fall in love with a human?
Otoya immediately opened Google and searched. He stared in horror as he read the first word.
ABSOLUTELY!
'Absolutely?!?' He screeched in his mind.
The final part of his plan was to ask [Name] out, not on a date because he had yet to finish wooing her.
He sat in front of her in the library as he grinned.
"So you know how I'm in the soccer club?" He asked and gained [Name]'s attention.
"Yeah,"
Otoya leaned forward eagerly, "Do you think you can make some free time to watch my important match?"
"Why?" [Name] asked.
"So I can show you how much better I am than your guy seatmate, the girl asking for your notes and that damned dog!" He rambled off.
"Sure."
Otoya smiled so brightly that [Name]'s cold heart started melting a little.
[Name] stared at Otoya who had invited her to his match.
He had easily gained everyone's attention, including hers, due to his superior skills as a striker.
She watched as he went past the opposing team's defence and kicked the ball, earning another goal.
Otoya cheered loudly as he scored the final goal, and immediately, his green eyes went towards the direction [Name] was sitting.
Noticing the white-haired male looking at her, she clapped and nodded at him making Otoya cheer even louder.
[Name] waited for Otoya so she could hand him the earphones he had kindly lent her since hers broke.
"[Name]-chan!"
She was immediately greeted with Otoya's wide smile and she nodded at him.
"Thank you." She said as she handed him his earphones back.
Otoya put them in his pocket as he replied: "No problem!"
"Say..." Otoya started, "What kind of guy do you like?"
[Name] tilted her head towards the white-haired male who was earnestly looking at her.
"My type? Someone who can cook and bake." She answered honestly after thinking.
"Ok got it!" Otoya exclaimed with a smile.
This caused [Name] to stare at him with a thoughtful look as Otoya's fingers twitched in nervousness.
"Do you like me?" [Name] asked.
Otoya's eyes widened, and his heart raced in panic.
"Hahaha no...?" His laugh all shaky before he ran away without another word.
[Name] was sitting in the empty class and she lifted her head when she heard the door slam open loudly.
There stood Otoya, all flustered, his head down.
He quickly walked to where she was sitting.
"That day!" Otoya bowed his head and thrust his arm forward, his hands holding a neatly wrapped box. "I lied to you!"
"I actually like you, very much!" Otoya confessed and waited for his crush's reply.
"Oh..." [Name] said as she looked at the white-haired male. Slowly she reached out to take the gift in her hands.
She opened the wrapping and saw chocolate in various shapes.
[Name] looked at Otota who didn't dare even look at her and was looking away, his cheeks tinted red due to embarrassment.
"I made them myself." He explained, refusing to meet her eyes because he knew he would fumble the words he wanted to say.
"...Because you said your type was someone who can cook and bake." Otoya licked his bottom lip as he finished his words.
[Name] laughed a little making Otoya stare at her in awe.
This was the first time he had seen her laugh and man was he mesmerized.
His green eyes blinked softly as he watched the girl of his dreams.
[Name] gently placed the chocolates on the table bedside her.
She lifted her hands to hold the other's hands and Otoya watched with wide eyes as she smiled at him.
The first smile he had gotten from her.
"Mhm, I like you too."
