I wish i cared less about people who dont care about me as much as i care about them. I wish their opinion mattered less to me. I wish i didnt feel like nothing to them.

*lines up my mental illnesses* okay which one of you is responsible for this
My sister, who I live with, thought she couldn't get the vaccine because she doesn't have insurance.
We're not really used to "free".... spread the word.
It depends where you go too. I tried to sign up at CVS and it said "free with insurance"
In the US they are not allowed to charge an individual for this vaccine. They are allowed to bill your insurance. Whether you have insurance or not, you will not pay anything.
THERE WILL BE A QUESTION ON THE REGISTRATION ABOUT INSURANCE YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL IT OUT.
When I registered there was a page for insurance information. We were instructed just to put “no insurance” and keep going.
Everyone should know this.
It is FREE please get it!
Conservatives accidentally doing this never gets old
based
dont any of you dare forget this gem i quote this daily
Extremely well played
25% is better than 0%. trying a little is better than not trying at all. eating a protein bar is better than nothing. using dry shampoo is better than not showering. cleaning one section of your room or house is better than not cleaning any of it. writing a paragraph of your essay is better than not starting it. whatever you can manage today is okay. you can try again tomorrow. little steps are to be proud of.
PREACH!
my only advice to all the girls out there is to wear weird shit. just do it
Benefits
Men are more likely to be put off and thus, leave you alone.
Women who are also weird may be inclined to start up conversations with you and befriend you.
Little girls will feel safer around you because they are also weird.
Small children may ask you if you are a fairy/princess/mermaid, and that's just a really good feeling.
You get that much closer to being a fairy/princess/mermaid.
6. You make your inner child happy and every time you do that, you heal.
boss asked me if i knew what a brony was today but he pronounced it like “brownie” then started explaining, but somehow I’M THE WEIRD ONE FOR INTERRUPTING WITH “Oh, you mean BRONYS, yeah, they do want to fuck horses!”
boss today asked me if I knew what a bear was and it took the incredible effort of forcing every bone in my body to solidify into one giant Super Bone and in the process fusing my jaw shut for me to stop myself from saying “uh, yeah dude, you but gay.”
boss texted me today about all the business we’ve been getting and i texted back “haha yup our dance card is getting pretty full!” followed immediately by two minutes of debilitating panic about whether that was an actual saying or just some nonsense I’d made up.
boss came to my office today strictly to tell me he got hamilton tickets and had the nerve to be insulted when i referred to him as “the biggest copycat there ever was.”
boss today texted me the most unorthodox elipsis i’ve ever seen
my boss’s parents and my parents each have vacation homes in the same retirement community, which is widely rumored to be a hotbed of sexual depravity, so sometimes i deliberately antagonize him by implying - very innocently and with plausible deniability - that our parents swing with each other
boss just came into my office to ask me a question, paused and said “what the FUCK are you listening to?” and when i sheepishly admitted it was a remix of the wii shop channel music, he just left.
op what is your occupation
Rascal.
Super fucked up! wtf is wrong with these people? #IamWithMili!
What is every little girl supposed to have long hair in a ponytail? So happy to see all of the support going her way.
Everybody remembers that we absolutely knew this would happen, right?
Like, trans people predicted this from the start. Everyone was SO SURE they could identify us on sight, and we said “If you run with that assumption you’re going face-first into a goddamn wall” and here we go.
The bar for gender presentation is so much higher for children of color too. We’ve been saying that this transphobic hatred would simultaneously reinforce whiteness.
So apparently not only is Sia’s movie Music a downright constant insult to autistic people portraying a full on mockery of stereotypical autistic mannerisms by Maddie Ziegler:
autisticats: I’m watching Sia’s movie, in order to write a detailed & chronological review (so that nobody else watches it out of curiosity).
But for now, I just want the public to see a few things that speak for themselves, starting with this image.
[Picture of Maddie Ziegler with her eyes rolled back, teeth over her lower lip; stereotypical autistic mannerisms or body language.]
This performance is a caricature of autistic body language. It’s unsettling, and insincere. And it is deeply reminiscent of the exaggerated mannerisms non-autistic people often employ when bullying autistic & developmentally disabled people for the ways we move.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the ways autistic people move, or the ways we make facial expressions.
Some of us roll our eyes and put our teeth over our lips as a stim or just because it’s comfortable.
But we do those things naturally. Maddie Ziegler does not.
BUT ALSO SHE’S IN FUCKING BLACKFACE IN THE MOVIE?
Picture of Maddie Ziegler in blackface below the read more:

fun game
My mom sent me photos of my great-great grandmother. I asked “wasn’t this when women were only allowed to wear dresses?” And my mom said “she did whatever she wanted to do. She was wild”
it’s kind of established that there is no “get out of a beatdown” role you can take other than being a cop yourself, right? media, medics, lawyers, all fair game.
Turns out that cops are just dudes who really like beating the shit out of defenceless people. There’s really no other qualification.
For those who hate lawyers I do want to point out that legal observers are sent by the National Lawyer’s Guild, which is the primary organization providing pro-bono legal defense to protesters and black community leaders who have been jailed to try to derail the movement. So, these are not the lawyers you hate.
Just to reiterate: the entire point of NLG legal observers is to deter unlawful or improper behavior on the part of the police / law enforcement personnel–and to document such behavior, if they aren’t successful in deterring it. In the U.S., they have to be trained and certified. Their job is to help you protest to the full extent of your constitutional rights and with minimal interaction with the criminal justice system. I cannot stress the extent to which they are on your side.
The National Lawyer’s Guild’s motto is “human rights over property interests” and was created as a direct fuck you to conservative and exclusionary bar associations. Their dues are way cheaper than other bar associations and you can join even as a jailhouse lawyer (a prisoner who teaches themselves the law to advocate for others).
And just because this is literally my job: your negative perception of lawyers is literally propaganda. The portrayal of defense attorneys as evil for defending criminals, the idea that suing people is something only rich or very greedy people do, the complete erasure of legal aid as a thing that exists, are all designed to make you afraid to advocate for your legal rights.
This is legit.
It’s actually not the same thing
Because with $1,000, that might be the money you need for rent - $65 could be the prescription you need til the end of the month. Despite being 6.5% of the amount, it could be the difference between you actually eating that week.
But a person with $1 billion has their every need and desire met. They don’t have to worry about rent or food or medicine. They could fund the research for the cure if they caught a never-before-seen disease. $65 million may be 6.5% of that, but it will make no difference in their ability to support themselves.
tl;dr It’s actually less morally defensible for the billionaire to keep the money
One of my least favorite mental illness things is "hungry but dont feel like eating" and its companions "hungry but all the food in the house is Illegal," "hungry but can't make anything," and "hungry, want to eat, but why bother"
Also the adhd friend “hungry but unaware of hunger because current activity is too captivating”
